GRAPEVINE LORDCONEWS
LORDCO SIGNS OFF ON NEW TRACK SIGNS!
After enduring years of weathering, our track sign at Mission Raceway began to fade. With exciting developments unfolding at Agassiz Speedway, we felt it was the perfect time to refresh our look and message. As we prepare to launch our e-comm site and welcome new title-sponsored drivers, enhancing our identity aligns with the direction we're heading.

The Calgary Stampede is in full swing this week! It's a huge show of fun, tradition, and real horsepower — for real. There are around 7,500 animals on site, like cattle, sheep, and more. And here's the wild part — over 500 racehorses are part of the action. Each horse brings about 15 horsepower, which adds up to 7,500 horsepower racing through Stampede Park! Plus, to move all these animals, there are more than 300 horse trailers and 250 trucks on site. That’s a lot of wheels and hooves!

NATIONAL INJURY PREVENTION DAY
July 7th is National Injury Prevention Day! This day is all about raising awareness for preventable injuries and spreading the importance of working, playing, and living safely. This week, we will be looking at some tips about how to keep ourselves and each other safe!
What is National Injury Prevention Day?
National Injury Prevention Day was created to reduce preventable and predictable injuries in Canada. This day is sponsored by Parachute – A Canadian charity dedicated to injury prevention. The event aims to reduce the number of preventable injuries, which are currently the number one cause of death in Canadians aged 1 to 44. National Injury Prevention Day spreads information about safe practices and how to implement them in the hopes of giving Canadians safer, healthier, and longer lives! More information on National Injury Prevention Day can be found at parachute.ca.
Injury Prevention
Most injuries are caused by accidents, such as slips, falls, car crashes, chemical misuse, and overexertion. While they are called “accidents”, they are often caused by distractions, fatigue, and a lack of safety measures. Take these factors into account before you start on a task. While not every injury is preventable, many are. Taking precautions to prevent injuries could save your life or someone else’s! Keep safety in mind by promoting safe practices to those around you. When discussing injury prevention, we must also discuss mental health. This is because preventable injuries also include overdose and suicide. If you are worried about yourself, a friend, a family member, or a colleague, encourage them to talk to a healthcare professional and support them as best you can. If you are not sure where to start, take advantage of Lordco’s Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP). This program is available to all employees and can help with mental health, addiction, family and relationships, and overall well-being.
Injury Prevention Tips
This National Injury Prevention Day, spread awareness about preventable injuries and how to avoid them. Talk to your employees, colleagues, and family members about potential dangers at home and in the workplace and take steps to reduce the risk of injury. Make it a habit to check in with those around you and try your best to support those you care about. Making risk evaluations and check-ins part of your routine could help you save a life! Plus, if you want to go above and beyond, wear green on July 5th to be an advocate for injury prevention!

Sarah Provencal Kaiser - Parksville #67
Camping nearby and I stopped in for coolant. Sarah helped me right away and it has changed how I maintain fluids! Smarter and much better for my budget. Don’t be fooled by other big box stores. Lordco is the only place for proper knowledge on products. AND if somebody doesn’t know, they will find somebody who does. Always great service. This location in particular. Shop locally

Thank you Shannon, if I could give more than 5 stars I would.
I don’t recall last time or even ever getting such and incredible customer service like the one received today from Shannon.
She went way above and beyond to help me find the part that I was looking for in which at some point I gave up myself, but she didn’t until she got it done all with phenomenal customer service and smile on her.
Thank you Shannon

Ethan saved my butt!
I returned a (06 Ford E350)'s Rotors because it has 8 prongs in it. However, I get home, my wheel has 7 prongs...
So here we are, trying to figure this out....
And he still has brain left..
He figures out that I was looking at the hub cap,,,,, they have 7 The rims got 8

Once again Lordco has saved me from extreme frustration. I did extensive service with them on my last two trucks and have never seen more helpful and KNOWLEDGEABLE staff. In a moment of stupidity I went to canadian tire to get transmission oil for a new truck I bought that is a different brand than my others. With my lack of knowledge I asked the canadian tire staff for help selecting the proper transmission oil because my new truck is extremely picky about what to use. Canadian tire handed me stuff that they said was exactly what I needed. Before using it I decided to call my local Lordco to see what they would recommend. A nice man named Cam was able to walk me through my choices and it turns out I was given the wrong oil at canadian tire. I came in 20 minutes to close, received exceptional help from Cam and a lady working with him I unfortunately missed the name of. They double checked each other's work to make sure I had the product I needed and it was even 20% cheaper for the same volume of fluids. I cannot recommend Lordco enough especially for the hobbies like myself who doesn't have a professional knowledge base and sometimes needs help finding things.
