ONLINE BUYING PILOT FOR OUR MOST POPULAR CAR CLUBS

E-commerce is reaching its first important milepost in June: The Online Buying Pilot. Car club members will be the first group invited to buy online and pilot the process. The pilot will rollout gradually, allowing us time to troubleshoot potential issues before releasing our Click & Collect service to the public.

Now, you may be thinking, “What discount will club members receive?” “Are we calling it a discount?” And “Are club discount cards on the way out?” Read the updated FAQs for answers to these questions and more.

Q. Why have car club & discount group pricing changed?

Over the past year we have worked to make Dealer a competitive retail price and are now displaying that price on our shelf labels and ecommerce website. To ensure car club and discount card customers benefit from our improved pricing, their discounts are now based on our Dealer price. This is a change for some of our customers who are used to getting a discount on our previously suggested list price. We are reaching out to car clubs and discount groups to help them understand these changes.

Q. Should we use the term “car club discount”?

Lordco offers quality items at a fair value. We recommend swapping the terms “car club discount” or “discount” with “Lordco Loyalty”, “Lordco Loyalty savings”, or “Lordco Loyalty pricing” to better convey our offerings when referring to our new pricing levels.

Q. Can customers still use their physical car club discount card in-store?

Yes, customers can use their physical car club discount cards at any Lordco Auto Parts location. However, we are moving away from physical cards in the future and towards individual accounts, making physical cards eventually unnecessary.

Q. How does a car club apply for Lordco Loyalty savings?

New car clubs interested in setting up Lordco Loyalty savings for their members must submit an application form. Car clubs with an existing membership account, will need to complete a club verification form. Contact pmendes@lordco.com for more information.

Did you know Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal was originally built for Expo 67, the city’s dazzling World’s Fair? The man-made Île Notre-Dame hosted futuristic pavilions before being transformed into a racetrack in 1978—eventually named after Canadian F1 hero Gilles Villeneuve. The circuit is now famous not just for its high-speed straights and tight chicanes, but also for the infamous “Wall of Champions”—a barrier that claimed legends like Schumacher, Hill, and Villeneuve in the same 1999 race, earning its dramatic nickname. With the 2025 Canadian Grand Prix racing in on June 15, fans can look forward to more thrills, spills, and maybe a new name or two added to the wall! 1 2 3

NATIONAL HEALTH AND FITNESS DAY

June 7th is National Health and Fitness Day! This event was designed to promote the health and wellness of all Canadians by encouraging people to get active. There has been an alarming uptrend of sedentary living in Canada, so the goal this June 7th is to stop that trend where it stands. To start a healthier trend, we’ll be going over some tips on how to stay active this month!

Why Is Exercise Important?

Exercise makes you feel great, both physically and mentally. It can help maintain your physical fitness level by increasing your mobility and muscle control, both of which keep you feeling strong and healthy. Exercise can also regulate your emotions, help relieve stress, and provide socialization. Working out with friends, family members, or co-workers can help you build a community, which will also boost your mental wellness. So, how do you take advantage of all these benefits? Try exercising for at least 150 minutes per week! Exercise can be anything that gets your heart rate up, but we’ve compiled some suggestions for every activity level below.

Exercise Suggestions by Level

Low Intensity – Any activity which gets you moving at a low level where you can still talk and catch your breath easily. This type of activity level is great for beginners, those recovering from injuries or living with joint pain, and getting exercise on rest days. Some examples include:

• Walking, gardening, bowling, fishing, and household activities.

Moderate Intensity – Any activity that gets your heart pumping at a high enough level that you can talk but must take deeper breaths. This activity level is perfect for most of your 150 minutes each week and can be a great level to incorporate social time. Some examples include:

• Swimming, jogging, biking, dancing, and playing moderate intensity team sports.

Vigorous Intensity – Any activity which gets your heart beating at such a level that you need more time to recover before being able to talk. This activity level brings the same health benefits as moderate intensity exercise in less time. This is great if you want to challenge your body. Some examples include:

• High intensity team sports like basketball or soccer, swimming laps, hiking steep inclines, and doing heavy yard work.

Ryan Roth - Kelowna #34

Went in to get some touch up paint for my truck at this location. Ryan was super helpful and positive, and mixed up a little bottle for me right away without any issues. Very good experience with Ryan and this location overall. Would definitely recommend using Lordco and Ryan for getting touch up paint for a vehicle. Thanks!!

I had an excellent visit to Lordco. Ron stood out with his outstanding customer service. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure I found exactly what I needed. His guidance made the whole process easy and stress-free. Couldn’t ask for better support.

Iftekhar Haider Mrinmoy

Burnaby #83

Very nice experience at this location looking for a particular part for my car. The parts representative was very helpful and aided me with my request, making sure it was the correct part before getting the item from their stock. While paying for the item at the cashier, the representative passed me a membership sign-up and let me know about the rates and discounts which was insightful. Overall a great location, good selection in stock, store nicely setup and clean, most importantly staff were very professional and knowledgeable, willing to assist you with positive energy.

Taylor Teasdale - Edmonton #95

Shout out to the employee named Taylor! I haven't been into the store, but I did call the other day to enquire about a Milwaukee Tool that Im looking to purchase for father's day. This store had the best price for the tool so I called to see if it could be shipped to me. An employee named Taylor took my phone number and address so she could check what the freight/shipping cost would be and told me she'd call me back. Within 10 minutes she had call...

Joel Boily - Trail #17

The staff at the Trail store go above and beyond for customers. We were heading out of town for the long weekend and my RV power cord was too short for my sons truck and they had no extensions at the store, Joel and staff went above and beyond to get the parts and the products needed to make our own extension. Even lending us the tool to be able to make it!!! Great Customer Service!! You get a 10 from us!!!
