Letter from the President

Hello Team Loyalty,

I would like to first say be safe, COVID is a real thing, and it has clearly affected each and every one of us. I strongly encourage all team members to get vaccinated, but ultimately the choice is yours. There has been rumors that the Department of Labor maybe coming out with a VAX Mandate “each employer will decide exactly what they want to do, but what we're saying through the Department of Labor rule making process is a minimum of testing once a week or full vaccination," a senior administration official said.” So, vax or get tested, possibly. I am not a fan of this, but we must do what we can to stay open.

Another great loan growth month in August for Loyalty Pawn. We have three stores with over a million-dollar loan balance. That is terrific, way to go Team Loyalty!! I believe we will continue to have great loan growth months Our buys were also terrific. We purchased over the counter (not including what we have sourced from other dealers for jewelry or any other luxury goods), just over the counter numbers were almost 100% more from the first 4 months of the year (JanuaryApril) compared to the last 4 months (May-August). That is a massive increase. I believe these purchase numbers will also increase along with our loan balance. Let's keep up the great work. Also, great news, some of you have already taken advantage; Golden 1 has reopened, Yay!! Be sure to check out the upcoming events and get your ticket requests in as soon as possible. Ask your manager for the proper procedure for ticket requests and HAVE FUN. One change this year is we only have four tickets to each event. I am still negotiating on parking with Golden 1 and the Sacramento Kings.

On a positive note, on the legislative end is that AB296 which is the extension bill that does not require us to charge sales tax on defaulted items is on the Govenor's desk and is expected to be signed into law shortly. On the Federal side of things, the NPA has successfully received an injunctive order against the state of Illinois that, in short, puts a stay on the law passed, in Illinois, that caps the interest rate allowable to charge on a pawn loan to 36% annually. In short, Illinois, would be only allowed to charge 10 cents (yes $0.10) a day on a $100 pawn loan. This is good for the industry because there is a federal bill trying to move that would like to make this a nationwide bill. The injunction is very positive sign that on a federal level we would be able to do the same.

Have a Tremendous Month,

A Letter from the General Manager

Hello Everyone,

It's official! School is back in, and traffic is becoming a common theme again in Sacramento! Given the weird weather patterns, fires, covid-19 still lingering, we have all had plenty of challenges this last year. We all have had responsibilities and challenges to overcome. This last year has been a difficult one to navigate through. There are plenty of frustrated and angry people, disturbed or scared with the lack of societal structure. Fortunately, we are in the position to help our pawn family during their financial need. Our clients choose to utilize our services as is a choice for those who help deliver those services. We continue to be very appreciative of our teams and our clients.

It's time to celebrate our sales leaders. In the month of August, Dominic T. sold $40,051.74. Tony Mora sold $24,541.68, and Paul Molina sold $29,752.68. Congratulations to our top three salespeople! Our sales are increasing, and our layaways are starting to grow again as well. Also, I wanted to recognize the sales performance of the Florin location, selling over $100,000.00 in August. Great job, teams!

After much contemplating, we have decided to move forward with our new software merge. As many of you know, we committed to change our pawn software to Bravo. We plan on this happening in October. We believe that switching to this new software will offer a different level of convenience to our current and future customers. It is time for us to embrace technology and utilize it for our benefit! We will be working with Bravo off and on through September, and we will also have training days. Training before launch will help familiarize us with their product for the launch day. We will be merging the data one store at a time instead of doing it all at once. We feel that connecting one store at a time will work the best for us.

To conclude, It appears that the California fires are going to be around for a bit. Please, everyone, stay safe, stay healthy and keep up the good fight! We are not limited to our ability to help. Let's focus on our promotion for September and exceed the goals and expectations.

Sincerely,

3

Loyalty Pawn Family

Greetings Loyalty Family,

Another great month has gone, and we continue to grow that loan balance. Great job team Florin for once again being in the 100k club and one step closer to that magical 1 million in sales number. I would also like to give a huge shout out to Joseph for representing Loyalty Pawn in our collaboration with Nytch. We have gotten some great responses from it, and I can’t wait to see what Nytch has to offer for us. Nytch is a new product to us but with huge potential if it used properly. This month we are going to get to know Mark Xiong the manager from the Florin Mall location.

1. Who is your hero and why? My hero is my Parents. The struggle they had to go through from when they were kids. They were able to raise a family with little money they had and made sure that everyone was taken care off.

2. What is your favorite family vacation? Favorite family location was to France. That was my first time meeting my wife’s brother and sister. We celebrated son 7th birthday there. Took him to Disneyland Paris.

3. What did you want to be when you were small? When I was younger, I always wanted to be a race car driver

4. What is your favorite game or sport to watch and play? My favorite sports to watch and play would be soccer

5. What would you sing at karaoke night? I’m not a singer but with liquid courage it would probably be Hunting Fishing Loving every day by Luke Bryan

6. Have you ever had a nickname? What is it? I don’t have a nickname; everyone would call me by my name

7. Would you rather win the lottery or work at the perfect job? And why? I would rather work a perfect job, working a perfect job you will always want to be there. The reason why I would rather work a perfect job is because it will be a passion some that will keep going at the same time motivated.

8. Who would you want to be stranded with on a deserted island? If I was stranded on a deserted island I would like to be stranded with families. Family is a big deal even though we have our ups and downs, and they end of the day we are still a family.

9. If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to and why? If I could travel back in time, I think I would love to go to Laos. To the time where my parents were young. Just to see how they lived up in the high country of Laos in their small village to see the way they lived and what they must do to survive. The tricks that they learn on how to harvest meat to feed their families. Learning how to fish with homemade fishing tricks. Hiking in the jungle of Laos navigating through crazy terrains and learning how to get back with handheld devices. Their way of communicating with branches that was broken and placing on grounds to determined which directions and locations. Meeting great grandparents my grandpa especially also getting a chance to meet other family members that my parents have talked about that are no longer with us. I think just being there to witness it all would be very interesting.

10. How would your friends describe you? I believe my friends would see me as a person that would have open doors to friends and families. Willing to help. A person that doesn’t say no.

11. What is the worst gift you have ever received? I don’t know, I don’t really look at a gift being worst. I believe every gift has it own meaning or purpose. You just must learn to accept it.

4

12. What are some of your hobbies? Some of my hobbies are very boring like Hunting, Fishing, and enjoying the outdoors surrounded by the people you love and care about. Spending time with families and friends.

13. If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have? If I was a superhero, what powers would I have. I think I would like to have the power to turn back time. To be able to go back and correct and make a change to better and improve

14. What would you do if you won the lottery? If I was to win the lottery, I think I would buy a lot of big natural lands up in the wilderness in different country and states. Live the rest of my life traveling to different properties in the mountains. Just being able to do what I love. Being a guide in Hunting.

15. What is the tallest building you have been to the top of? The tallest building, the castle at Disney land, just kidding. I would have to say the Eiffel Tower.

16. What is your favorite holiday and why? My favorite holiday is Hunting Season, lol because every day I go out there is like Christmas Morning you never know what you are going to get.

17. What is your favorite sports team? It would be the RAIDERS!!!

18. What is one of your favorite movies? I can’t say I have a favorite movie, but one movie that is very interesting is Sheep without a Shepherd. It’s a must watch great thriller movie

19. What three items would you take with you on a deserted island? Three items I would take with me on a deserted Island would be a just knife different sizes.

20. What was your favorite subject in school? My favorite subject in school would probably be history. I’m always fascinated about things that happened in the past. Just know what people had to do to survive back then

21. What are the most unusual things you’ve ever eaten? I can’t really say. I eaten a lot of unusual and interesting from Balut to Deep fried Crickets. But the most unusual and unexpected would-be Mosquito when I’m in the outdoors.

22. Do you collect anything? I can’t say I collect things, but I do have a lot of hunting equipment’s and supplies

23. What three things do you think of the most each day? Are my family healthy, Work, and what tomorrow will bring?

24. On a scale from 1-10 how funny would you say you are? I’d say I’m probably about a 6.

25. Where do you see yourself in 6 months? In the next 6 month I see myself with a couple of new mounts in my man cave Being able to see self-improvement in my heath mentally physically and professionally.

Team Loyalty,

A special thanks to my team I understand we are short of employees, but our crew packs a punch. We came in at a whopping 88k and holding strong in loan balance. Also, a special thanks to Stan for sourcing a beautiful lot of luxury handbags that will look great in Loyalty Luxury and all the other Loyalty Pawn's. This merchandise will look great on social media as well and attract new customers or even existing customers. Remember Louis Vuttion dosen't offer 10-10 Layaway. Also I've been working with vendors that attended JCK this year if anyone needs/wants to try out the micro diamond letter pendants please contact me. We've been doing great with this inventory. I hope everyone is staying safe and their families and remember "Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success". -Henry Ford

Florin Mall

Happy September Loyalty Pawn Families,

I hope everyone is doing well. Team Florin is excited to announce that we were able to hit another great sales month for August. We did a total of $112.8k in sales for last month. I am very proud of Team Florin for the hard work and to keep pushing forward to achieve goals that we have set for each month and also very extreme but exciting goals for the end of the year. We have continued to excel in our sales as well as our loan balance. Florin has grown over $65k in loan balance last month. We had a goal to shoot for $1.5million in our loan balance but unfortunately, we missed it by $7k. The great news is that Team Florin has sold about $190k over in sales this time last year. We celebrated David and Ah’s birthday last month. Team Florin is on track to hit $1.15million in sales but we are shooting for $1.2million. Well, let’s have an awesome September and end this quarter strong. We have a great layaway promotion this month and I am sure everyone is going to capitalize on it. Getting a head start for Christmas. Let’s Go Team Loyalty!!!

Roseville

Hello Team Loyalty,

I hope everyone had a great Labor Day! I personally want to thank all of you for your hard work and dedication to the Loyalty Pawn Team and to each other. These past 19 months have been challenging but all of you have stepped up and done an amazing job and I appreciate all of you. The Loyalty Pawn Family is stronger than ever because of all of you and you hard work. Thank you! As you all know we are currently running recruitment campaigns on social media to find the right fit team members to join our amazing team. It has been difficult to find new talent manly because a lot of people are not ready to come back to the work force, but this will pass. People will be knocking down our doors to come work with this awesome team. I would encourage everyone to hunt for new talent and if you know someone or find someone who you think would be a right fit for Loyalty Pawn give them a business card and inspire them to fill out and application.

Broadway

Hello Everyone,

Well everyone should be excited as their favorite tv show the Office is coming back. We join the Dunder Mifflin Broadway branch to see how things are going. Aw yes here is the manager now John tell us about yourself and your team. Well first off I'm the world's funniest boss it says so on my coffee mug, "took me forever to find it but shout out to Skymall for having everything". Over there is Tito he's the assistant to the manager he makes sure things run smoothly running reports and doing store audits while I play my practical jokes. Perfect time here is one of them now. Damnit John you put my jewelers hood on Jell-O again this is the third time this week. That is Kirby he does all kinds of things he's the third-place salesman for the quarter, lead SLA, the company jeweler and he grows radishes. There like the beats crappy little brother. I keep telling him no one likes radishes he should grow candy everyone loves candy. In walks josh " secret weapon" he's the second-place salesman for the quarter and the second longest lasting member of Dunder Mifflin Broadway he's built up one heck of a customer base and shoe collection all though he's mentioned that the clothes at Gap can be a bit too flashy, so he buys clothes for large colonial dolls instead. He's mention he lives by a strict code with one simple rule. "Whenever he's about to do something, he thinks to himself would an idiot do that? And if they would, he doesn't do that thing." So that's the Dunder Mifflin Broadway team a place where we can annoy you with our friendship and look hot eating a cupcake. "That's what she said" "An office is a place where dreams come true"- Michael

West Sacramento

Hello Team,

This will be the last month of the 3rd quarter. It's incredible how fast the year has gone by. Now Jason and I took a little vacation and now it's our teams turn to take some time off. Bailey will go first, and Brandy will be off at the end of the month . We cannot forget about our Number #1 sales associate "Norma" she will be also taking some time off at the beginning of October. Just in time because of busiest month are coming up. Due to all the ups and down, it's hard to be able to set a goal but team west sac has decided the by the end of the year we will break the 500k loan balance and 100k layaway balance. I hope you read Jason's update on the store last month, and just like he said holidays are right around the corner and we want to properly qualify the item to have great product to sell. I do not know how to thank Team Florin for all their help this past month , they are west sac's lifeguard, THANK YOU SO MUCH TEAM FLORIN for always lending a helping hand. We will find a way to properly show our appreciation to all you guys. We were able to clear, clean out the "broken room" and it's now the "display element and guitar cases room"...lol. The next project for the month, will be to build a new bike shelf, hopefully the price of lumber does not shoot up. We should by stock in lumber instead on dogecoins. In another subjects the air quality is bad due to all the fires around us, please stay safe. As for now, we continue to wear a facemask and sanitize as frequently as possible. Please stay safe and healthy. We look forward to new challenges and overcoming old ones.
