President’s Letter
Dear Loyalty Pawn Family,
As we step into September, I want to begin with an important reflection. This month marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. On that day, please take a moment of silence to honor the lives lost and the families forever impacted. It is a reminder of resilience, unity, and the importance of supporting one another.
August was another strong month for loan growth, congratulations and thank you to each of you for the dedication that continues to drive our success. We are closing in on our annual loan goal, and I am confident that September will take us across the finish line.
However, while loans have been growing, August sales did not quite meet expectations. July showed us the momentum we’re capable of, and it’s important that we return to that path. Strong sales fuel our growth, and this will be our collective focus in the months ahead.
To ensure we finish strong this year, here are a couple of key areas we could focus on:
1. Promote Christmas Layaways (3-Month Push) -- Encourage customers to secure their holiday gifts early with our flexible layaway program. This provides convenience for them and steady cashflow for us.
2. Feature Our New Lab-Grown Diamond Jewelry Line
This exciting new product line offers beauty, quality, and value. Perfect for holiday gifts, these pieces should be showcased in every sales conversation.
By the end of September, we’ll be three-quarters of the way through the year. I am proud of what we have accomplished together, and I am energized about what we will achieve in the final stretch. With focus on growing loans, boosting sales, and converting customer interest into committed purchases, I know we will finish the year strong.
Thank you all for your continued dedication, hard work, and teamwork. Wishing each of you a productive and successful month.
With gratitude,
Stan Lukowicz President, Loyalty Pawn

Letter from the General Manager
Greetings Everyone,
As Expected, we had a strong growth month in July. Our loans grew over 200k with growth expectations forecasted for August as well. Congratulations to both El Camino and Broadway for hitting their 20% sales goals. Although the stores had a strong loan growth month, we were still able to capture some retail sales in a month that has historically been soft in retail.
I would like to acknowledge the top 3 salesman for July. Congratulations to Dominic T 1st place, Norma B. 2nd place and Ah X. 3rd place. Great job team. To compare 2024/2025 sales for July, El Camino sold 21% more in July 2025, Florin sold -10% less in 2025, Roseville sold35% less in 2025 & Broadway sold 40% more in 2025.
Very soon, we will be adding a new line of jewelry inventory to our locations. We are expanding our jewelry offerings to now include lab created diamonds. This will be a mined diamond alternative. Many retailers are tapping into this market and the lab cr eated diamonds are an affordable option to mined diamonds. Javier has noticed lately that celebrities are starting to include these jewelry pieces as part of their fashion everyday accessories. The lab created diamond lines will be an added product to our continuously growing inventory, and we will be showcasing these in the very near future. With proper merchandising and product knowledge, we believe that this addition will continue to increase our retail potential.
To conclude, I wanted to thank those who have signed up for the AJP courses. These classes are a gateway to diving a little deeper into the world of jewelry. As it stands, the business is comprised of 80% jewelry and 20% general goods. These courses will h elp boost your knowledge, vocabulary and general understanding of the anatomy of stones and jewelry. Good luck!
Sincerely,
Wayne Silliman General Manager

Loyalty Pawn Family
Greetings, Loyalty Family!
First and foremost, I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Team Broadway for their tremendous efforts in achieving an impressive 20% stretch goal for the month of August. It took a collective commitment, creativity, and collaboration from every team member to reach this milestone, and your hard work truly shows. Once again, congratulations, Team Broadway! To the rest of our stores, we have some real work ahead of us. We’ve seen a drop in performance, and it’s crucial that we rally together to improve. We have a wealth of price point inventory at our disposal, and it’s up to each of you to utilize the tools provided to move this inventory effectively. While I appreciate the successes we’ve had with our Pawn service charges this past month, we cannot rely solely on that. It’s essential that we reach our sales goals consistently, and that requires dedication and strategic effort from everyone. I’m excited to see that our new Lab Grown Diamond line is starting to gain traction, particularly with Team El Camino leading the way. Let's build on this momentum and ensure that we are all contributing to the success of our offerings. This month, I’m pleased to introduce you to Paul Molina, the assistant manager of the Florin Mall location As we forge ahead, let’s remember the words of Steve Jobs' "Great things in business are never done by one person. They are done by a team of people" Let’s make this month a remarkable one!
1. If you could have any superpower for a day, what would it be and how would you use it at work? I would want instant regenerative abilities since I get injured and get cuts at work randomly. If not, then telepath to be able to control the minds of others and be able to use it to influence others behavior if they are a problem in the store.
2. What’s the most adventurous thing you've ever done, and would you do it again? I spent around 2 weeks in Cancun on a vacation, and we went to the cenotes and underground rivers connecting in Xcaret the experience was amazing.
3. If you were to host a dinner party, which three historical figures would you invite and why? Hopefully we’d be speaking the same language but if not then I’d be translating but for a dinner party it would be Mario Fortino Alfonso Moreno Reyes “Cantinflas”, Roberto Gómez Bolaños “Chespirito” and finally Charlie Chaplin “The Tramp” obviously the dinner would be full of laughs and some political views. These three were comedic powerhouses and influential figures of their time and till this day hold a significant place in history both internationally and in their own home nations.
4. What’s your go-to karaoke song, and would you be willing to perform it in front of the team? Not to be a party pooper but sadly I don’t sing or dance, so karaoke is out of the question for me.
5. If you could instantly become an expert in any field unrelated to your job, what would it be? Attorney, I enjoy arguments, and I constantly defend the innocent or the working class.
6. What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received, either personally or professionally? That I don’t mince words, most common things customers tell me are I’m honest and don’t like to waste time.
7. If you could travel back in time, what era would you visit and what would you want to experience? I would want to travel during Jesus Christ’s death to make sure of what would happen after he had died. If not, then during the renaissance I’ve had an interest in how drastically people have changed their point of view on the aspects of art, literature and music.
8. What’s a unique hobby or interest you have that most people don’t know about? I enjoy watching and learning but mostly making different types of asados from the Latin American cultures specifically Mexican, Argentinian and Brazilian.
9. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Mexican food or Vietnamese food
10. What’s your favorite motivational quote, and how does it inspire you? "The first obligation of every human being is to be happy; the second is to make others happy." -Cantinflas
11. If you could swap jobs with anyone in the company for a day, who would it be and why? I have no interest in swapping with anyone, but I would want to go up positions again.

12. What book or movie has had the biggest impact on your life, and how? “The Brutalist” and “Oppenheimer” The Brutalist shows the reality and complexity of a Jewish-Hungarian architect and Holocaust survivor transitioning when arriving to the United States to escape the hardships of a post-world war Europe. This movie gives the viewer a point of view of an immigrant which is both past and current once in a foreign country one must adapt and show his work to survive and the ongoing turmoil and discriminations thrown at them. Oppenheimer showed the life of J. Robert Oppenheimer, displaying a theorist so haunted by his mind full of the images of a destroyed world and endless possibilities because of the quantum world. A person invested in his work to create something he sees as both extraordinary and damming. Then once it is accomplished it comes full of consequences which he must get through. I connected with this movie regarding how one works hard and invests in something one believes in so that it may turn out to be something that could later affect your world either in the good or the bad.
13. What’s one thing you wish you’d known when you first started your career? same as any career choice I guess that no choice is an easy one.
14. If you could create a new company tradition, what would it be? Looking out for one another, seeing the team and company as a family since we spend more time here than at home awake.
15. What’s your idea of a perfect team-building activity? Company hangouts being able to go someplace to unwind, drink something or snack and talk to one another to be able to create a stronger bond between the team. We must socialize without having the restraints from work.
16. How do you recharge after a long day at work? Going home to see my family and laying back on the couch, watching some sports highlights or commentary or having a drink and relaxing on the patio.
17. What’s one personal achievement you’re proud of that might surprise others? I’ve obtained a food handler license, a coaching license and was starting work at a pawnshop all in the same year while still being a waiter at a family restaurant.
18. If you could design your ideal workspace, what would it look like? Ideal would be like how it is now but with a more retail store front in the way of presentation with signs pointing out where certain merchandise is and a more spacious warehouse so we can take in more bulky items with a more accessible hallway for such large items taken in.
19. How do you handle stress or high-pressure situations? During high pressure situations and when involving large amounts of stress, I honestly just lose myself in focus to finish whatever it is that I am doing so the stress and pressure just goes away. I’ve noticed that I’m better in these sorts of environments, my mind processes things quicker.
20. What’s your favorite way to celebrate a job well done? I’m not the celebratory type, praise and all those types of things aren’t something really given to me, but I believe if you see a proficient worker, you should just make sure not to bother him or her with complaints.
21. If you won a surprise vacation for a week, but you could only choose one of the following to bring with you: an extra week of paid time off, a bonus that adds to your salary, a benefits package that covers your dream healthcare, or a trophy recognizing your contributions at work, which would you choose and why? The benefits package would be the best option I’d be saving in the long run for it.
22. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever given to someone else? Don’t apologize because it is the biggest form of hypocrisy, people who apologize unknowingly get in a loop of repeating the same mistakes again and depend on that same apology to save them.
23. If you could make one change to the world, what would it be? Change current president and seat count in congress lower quantity of republicans.
24. What’s your secret talent that could come in handy at work? Its already come in handy multiple times I’m good under pressure and I’m great at persuading and pressuring people to buy.
25. What’s a skill you believe everyone should learn, and why? Social skills like being able to hold a conversation and being able to know how and when to finish one.

El Camino
Loyalty Family,
I hope everyone had a fantastic August! While Team El Camino came up just short of our sales goal, we still crushed it on the loan side our balance has skyrocketed to $2,142,342.00. That’s huge growth to close out the summer, and we’re heading into the fall full steam ahead. For September, our new goal is $81,000, which reflects a 20% increase over last year. With fresh inventory rolling in and the holidays around the corner, I’m confident we can hit and even exceed that target.
Quick reminders:
• Electronics & gaming systems – Make sure pricing is spot on. Big box stores and Sony are raising prices due to tariffs, but we don’t price gouge. Customers come to us for deals and we’ve got them!
• Gas-powered lawn equipment – Don’t shy away from buying or loaning them at a fair price. With fall approaching, demand is about to pick up, and there’s money to be made.
Summer has come and gone, and as the song goes: “Wake me up when September ends.” But until then, let’s stay focused, stay sharp, and make this our strongest month yet.

Hi Team Loyalty,
Our team is fully committed to hitting our ambitious stretch goal of $71,000 for the month of September. With the holidays fast approaching, we're building strong momentum by finalizing the showroom remodel and adding fresh, eye-catching jewelry to our display cases just in time to capture early seasonal shoppers. We've been working diligently to reprice aged inventory to move it more efficiently, while also clearing out our broken zone to create a more polished and appealing presentation. With focus, teamwork, and a continued push to maximize every opportunity, we’re confident we’ll not only meet but exceed our goal.

Hello Team,
What a month! August was a major success, and we couldn’t have done it without the collective effort and dedication of our amazing team. Thanks to the continued success of our layaway program, customer want lists and just having the drive to succeed. We were able to hit our monthly sales stretch goal a huge win that speaks to both the strategy and the hustle behind the scenes. A big shoutout to the entire team for doing everything possible to never walk a sale. Your commitment, energy, and determination are what keep us moving forward.

• Tito continues to crush it, excelling in both sales and loans, your consistency and drive are invaluable.
I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together and grateful for this team. We’re also looking ahead, as we plan to bring a new hire on board, I’m excited about the momentum we’re building and what the future holds.

Florin Mall
Hello Loyalty Pawn Families,
I hope everyone had a fantastic August! Team Florin continues to maintain a strong loan balance of $2.4 million. However, our sales for August totaled $65.2k, which fell short of our goal of $86k. As we transition into September, we have set a new sales target of $82.1k, with an ambitious stretch goal of $94k, reflecting a 20% increase. Additionally, we are focusing on raising our layaway balance to $80k by the end of this month.
Team Florin also prioritized improving our Google reviews, resulting in 75 new reviews for August. We aim to continue this momentum in September, with a goal of reaching a total of 1,575 reviews by the end of the month. Achieving this target will require dedication and effort from all of us.
We recognize that there is significant work ahead, but we are determined and ready to meet these challenges head-on. Let’s make September a great month for Team Florin!
