President’s Letter
Team Loyalty!
As we enter November, I want to take a moment to thank everyone for their continued hard work and commitment. October was a productive month; we maintained steady loan growth and saw consistent sales performance across all stores. Team Florin and Team Broadway did a great job this month by hitting their 20% sales goal! It’s great to see our team’s efforts paying off as we move deeper into the fourth quarter.
With the holidays approaching, now is the time to focus on showcasing our best inventory and preparing for increased foot traffic. Gold prices remain high, which makes selling a bit more challenging, but it also reinforces the importance of strong customer service and creative merchandising. We’re continuing to build up our gold and luxury item inventory to meet the seasonal demand and attract new customers.
Please continue encouraging Google reviews and following up with customers through callbacks, those small touches make a big impact on our online visibility and reputation. Keep store presentations sharp and highlight our layaway and loan options for holiday shoppers. Every effort to connect with the community helps us stand out.
Thank you again for all that you do every day. Let’s finish the year strong and make this holiday season our best yet.
Thank you,
Stan Lukowicz President Loyalty Pawn

Loyalty Pawn Family
Greetings, Loyalty Family!
First, I would like to congratulate both Team Florin and Team Broadway for surpassing their 20% stretch goal in retail last month! Great job to both stores. As we head into the holiday season, I’ve been saying it for a while now: we are more prepared than ever to hit our retail goals. We’ve listened to you all and provided more price-point jewelry at every store, including our collection of lab-grown jewelry, which I think will move well for us this season. Additionally, we have a great selection of price-point chains and pendants. We’ve fulfilled your needs, and now it’s time to move this inventory and sell it! We believe all this inventory will pair nicely with our monthly promotion for Black Friday all month long, which includes:
Pick Your Promo:
o 10% down gets you 15% off on layaway
o 20% off anything in the store
o Buy one item at full price and get the second item of equal or lesser value for 50% off

El Camino
Loyalty Family,
Novemburrrrrrrr is here! I hope everyone had a great and spooky Halloween! Now that the cobwebs have cleared and the candy’s been counted, let’s jump into the sweet stuff! Team El Camino had an awesome celebration last month, and I want to thank every team member who made it possible and who joined in on the fun! I personally love our victory celebrations, so let’s keep up the amazing work and keep up the high morale.
Now, let’s fall into the numbers yep, I went there Our new team goals are: $85K for our 5% $97K for our 20% I always say, “Why shoot for the stars when there are footprints on the moon?” So, let’s aim high and keep climbing!
As I have gathered new inventory for the store and with the holidays around the corner, I’m confident we can harvest some great results. A quick reminder: game systems, TVs, laptops, and other electronic items should be priced accordingly due to shortages and tariffs. The same goes for gas-powered items since they are banned in CA, they tend to leaf the shelves quickly! And remember, like my buddy Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor always says: “We need more power!” And no, batteries aren’t cutting it!
Before I wrap up, I’d like to give a warm Team El Camino welcome to our newest Team Loyalty Pawn family member straight out of the University of Alabama, standing at about 6 feet-ish tall… drumroll please Jeeeeeeff Niles! Welcome to the team, Jeff! We’re thrilled to have you onboard!
Let’s get ready to carve out success this month as we roll into our “Black Friday All Month Long” event. I hope everyone enjoys a feast-tastic Thanksgiving surrounded by good food, friends, and family. Let’s make this November something to be-leaf in!

Hello Team,
We’re excited to share some great news from Broadway this month! Once again, we’ve hit our 20% sales stretch goal, a huge achievement that reflects everyone’s hard work and dedication.
Our layaway balance has reached $99,000, showing strong customer engagement and confidence in what we offer. On top of that, we are seeing more loans than ever before, another clear sign that our store is continuing to grow and move in the right direction.
A special shout out to Josh and Tito for their outstanding sales performance this month. Leading the team in sales. Your efforts truly stand out and help set the bar for the entire team.

We are also maintaining a strong loan balance of $2.5 million and continue to grow.
With the holidays just around the corner, we have set an ambitious sales goal of $97.5k, with a stretch goal of $111.4k. November …
And the dead leaves lie huddled and still, No longer blown hither and thither; The last lone aster is gone; The flowers of the witch-hazel wither
–Robert Frost (1874-1963)
Did you know…that… November is National Family Caregivers Month?
This November is National Family Caregivers Month, a time to celebrate and honor the contributions of caregivers who provide care and support to their loved ones. In the United States alone, over 53 million people serve as unpaid caregivers for family members, friends and neighbors, and of these, around 11 million are caring for elderly parents while also raising children.

National Family Caregivers Month-Continued
The Sandwich Generation and its growing responsibilities.
Currently, millions of caregivers have growing responsibilities as they look after two generations, aging parents and younger children. These so-called “Sandwich Generation” caregivers tend to juggle their demanding caregiving responsibilities along with their career and other family obligations. Although in recent years, the number of Americans taking care of both aging parents and younger children has risen only marginally, the financial and emotional burden of sandwich-generation caregiving continues to grow.
For example, according to a 2022 University of Michigan study, sandwich-generation caregivers are twice as likely to report financial difficulty (36% vs. 17%) and more likely to report substantial emotional difficulty (44% vs. 32%) than their peers who only act as a caregiver to a parent over 65.

To Care for Others, Care for Thy Self Being a sandwiched parent is incredibly stressful, so it is important for this generation to take care of themselves and not get lost caring for both young and aging family members. Although being a caregiver can be a drain on time, resources and energy, it is critical to remember that one cannot truly care for others unless they first care for themselves. Here are a few strategies taken from Care. com to help members of the sandwich generation.
Take Time to Recharge You can’t pour from an empty cup, so self-care is not only essential for the caregiver, but also for the family.
Share the Load with Your Family Enlist the help of your family to perform specific tasks. Make sure ongoing responsibilities like shopping, taking the kids to school or extracurriculars or taking aging parents to therapy are spread out across members of the family and not just born on the back of one parent.
Talk to Loyalty Pawn’s Employee Services Work flexibility is crucial for sandwiched caregivers, so talking to us can be helpful. We can help inform you of any resources within Loyalty’s benefit offering that can be useful. Also, taking advantage of the California Family Rights Act (CFRA) may be able to offer benefits that can provide some employees with job protection if they need time off. jpeatross@mobilehrnow.biz
MONTHLY MOVES - Seated low back Stretch

You’re standing at your store’s workstation when suddenly lower back pain strikes, radiating all the way up your neck. Wincing in discomfort, you resist the urge to stretch out right next to the water cooler. Right?
Though we’ve all been tempted to discretely practice yoga poses at our workstations, subtle and inconspicuous movements are often better suited for relieving pain on the job. Seated stretches that can be done while remaining at your desk are ideal for alleviating back pain without drawing unnecessary attention or disrupting your coworkers.
Simple motions such as the seated low back stretch that gently opens the back while keeping your chair upright can offer relief until you have more freedom and space for additional restorative poses.
With some slight adjustments, you can address nagging back pain professionally and politely at the office.
Check out this website for stretches you can do while at work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=bEDH_uTcdf4

Thankful & Mindful Moments: Finding Gratitude in the Everyday Hustle
November Employee Newsletter – Loyalty Pawn
Written by: Jenn Peatross, PHR jpeatross@mobilehrnow.biz
Here we are in November! Wow, where has the time gone? As this year winds down and the rush of the holidays picks up, it’s easy to get caught up in the pace of our days, helping customers, managing inventory, handling negotiations, and making sure every transaction ends with trust and satisfaction. But even in our busiest moments, there’s power in pausing.
This month let’s take some time to focus on thankfulness and mindfulness two small practices that can make a big impact in how we feel and how we show up at work.
Be Present in the Moment
It’s easy to go on autopilot in a fast-paced environment. Try this technique called the 60-Second Reset:

• Pause.
• Take a deep breath in for four seconds, hold for four, and release for four.
• Notice one thing you can see, one thing you can hear, and one thing you can feel. This quick reset helps you stay grounded, especially during stressful customer interactions or busy shop hours.
Practice Daily Gratitude
Gratitude shifts our mindset from what’s missing to what’s meaningful. At the start or end of your shift, ask yourself:
• What went right today?
• Who made a difference in my day?
• What am I proud of?
You’ll be surprised at how this habit strengthens teamwork and boosts morale.
Lead with Positivity
The Rise Daily book reminds us: “Positivity is not pretending everything is perfect it’s choosing to look for what’s still good.” When we lead with kindness, patience, and respect, we set the tone for our team and customers alike.

❤ A Note of Thanks from the MobileHRNow Team❤
As we enter the holiday season, we want to say thank you to every member of our Loyalty Pawn family. Your dedication, honesty, and care for our customers do not go unnoticed. Whether you’re handling a delicate appraisal, helping someone in need, or mentoring a new team member you make a difference every day! Take a moment this month to breathe, reflect, and rise with gratitude. Because when we slow down and notice the good, we don’t just change our day we elevate our entire workplace.
2025 Year-End Reminders
As we close out another successful year, please take a few minutes to review these important reminders to ensure a smooth transition into 2026. Thank you for your continued teamwork and attention to detail!
1. Verify Your Personal Information
Before W-2s are issued in January, log into ADP Workforce Now to confirm:
• Your mailing address is correct
• The spelling of your name matches your Social Security card
• Your contact information (phone number and email) is current
If any updates are needed, please submit them in ADP or contact HR no later than December 15, 2025 to avoid delays in receiving your tax forms.

2. Review Your Tax Withholdings
You can review or update your W-4 (federal) and DE-4 (state) forms directly in ADP under “Pay & Taxes.” If you have questions about your tax setup or need help navigating the system, HR is happy to assist.

Thanksgiving Turkey
Option 1: The simplest roast turkey breast
While a traditional Thanksgiving feast may involve carving an entire turkey at the table, a simpler or more intimate Thanksgiving works with simply roasting the turkey breast. One advance of roasting just the breast is that it comes out juicy and doesn’t get dry. Then just add your sides like mashed potatoes, seasoned stuffing, your favorite seasonal greens and don’t forget dessert!
Turkey Cooking Tips
Ensure one pound per person or more if you want to ensure leftovers! Order or buy 2 to 3 weeks in advance!
Have a good roasting pan and a rack (which often comes with the pan) plus an instant-read thermometer for safety, if not peak flavor. See how to use a meat thermometer.
If you buy a frozen turkey, it’s important to start defrosting days in advance one day for every four pounds and it is recommended that you defrost it in the refrigerator. If your turkey is not frozen, unwrap it a couple days before cooking and let it air dry in the refrigerator so the air dries its skin tight. You don’t need to truss your turkey (tie up the legs) unless you’re stuffing the bird. Keep in mind that a trussed turkey takes longer to cook.
Have plenty of turkey or chicken stock on hand. Make sure you know how to carve a turkey before you’re facing the big bird! Hot Link: Understand the history and origins of Thanksgiving.
