TONIGHT, WE’RE CELEBRATING FIVE YEARS OF THE K-LOVE FAN AWARDS, the only fan-voted awards show in Christian entertainment! We love honoring the best and brightest artists, authors, actors and athletes who are making a positive impact with the art they create. It’s been five incredible years of amazing performances, one-of-a-kind collaborations and star-studded appearances. These years have encompassed millions of votes, endless hours of preparation and more smiles than we can count. The memories we’ve made will last a lifetime, and we’re looking forward to making more with you this evening. After all, it’s YOU—the fans—that make this event what it is. YOU are our guest of honor. So sit back and enjoy the show as each of your hand-picked winners is revealed on the Fan Awards stage. But before we kick off the 5th annual K-LOVE Fan Awards, let’s take a look back at the past four years…

The inaugural K-LOVE Fan Awards was held at the historic Ryman Auditorium for one year before moving to its current home—the Grand Ole Opry House.

THE TROPHY GIVEN OUT IN 2013 was so large and heavy, winners had a hard time holding it. Since that first year, the trophy’s dimensions have been altered to make it smaller, lighter and less bulky.

For the 2nd annual K-LOVE Fan Awards, Big Daddy Weave collaborated with Phil Wickham on a mash-up of the band’s “The Only Name (Yours Will Be)” and Wickham’s “This Is Amazing Grace.” But the group’s biggest Fan Awards moment? When they became the first winner of Song of the Year for “Redeemed.” From their own Set Free Tour to Chris Tomlin’s Worship Night in America Tour, Big Daddy Weave has been burning up the roads this year. The band was also a featured artist on this year’s annual K-LOVE cruise. HEARD ON K-LOVE: “THE LION AND THE LAMB” // @BDWMUSIC K-LOVE FAN AWARD COUNT:

Camp spent the past few months on the road headlining his I Will Follow Tour, which also featured Natalie Grant, Hawk Nelson and Dan Bremnes. GROUP OR DUO OF THE YEAR

Last year, Natalie Grant sang “Be One” live on the K-LOVE Fan Awards stage. During her performance, video footage featuring artists, including Casting Crowns, Steven Curtis Chapman, Jeremy Camp and more played behind her providing a powerful visual of the impact Christian artists are making beyond music in the lives of those in need.

NEEDTOBREATHE surprised K-LOVE Fan Awards attendees by opening last year’s show with their brand-new single, “Happiness.” The group also appeared at the inaugural awards show, performing “Difference Maker” at The Ryman; and in 2014, they played the Fan Awards kick-off concert.

She’s recently toured with Danny Gokey and Jeremy Camp and hosted her Dare to Be women’s events alongside friend Charlotte Gambill. But Grant’s favorite tour as of late has been “The 10 Tour,” a special bus outing with a group of 10-year-olds to celebrate her twins’ double-digit birthday.

The GRAMMY®-nominated band was hand-picked by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill to open three dates on their Soul2Soul World Tour in April. This fall, NEEDTOBREATHE will embark on their All The Feels Tour where they’ll play a mix of electric and acoustic shows, showcasing fan favorites and new tracks from HARDLOVE.

Nordeman penned nostalgic ballad “Slow Down” the night before her son’s 5th grade graduation. THE CASE FOR CHRIST Starring Mike Vogel, Erika Christensen, Faye Dunaway and Robert Forster, The Case for Christ is based on the real-life story of award-winning journalist Lee Strobel. An avowed atheist, Strobel strikes out on an intentional quest to disprove Christianity, but instead, he ends up coming face-to-face with truths he can’t ignore that reveal God to be real and trustworthy. Strobel puts his many years of investigative reporting to the test as he sets out on the greatest assignment of his life. In the process, he restores his fragile relationship with his wife and discovers his own personal redemption. www.caseforchristmovie.com

To Joey, With Love follows GRAMMY®-winning country/gospel duo Joey+Rory over the course of twoand-a-half years filled with equal parts joy and pain. As a love letter to his late wife, Rory set out to document the most beautiful parts of the couple’s seemingly simple life lived out on their farm in rural Tennessee. To Joey, With Love chronicles the birth of their daughter, Indiana, who was born with Down’s Syndrome, as well as Joey’s valiant fight against cancer. More importantly, the film captures Joey+Rory’s love story in real time, resulting in a poignant documentary about unwavering faith, unbridled hope and eternal love. www.tojoeywithlove.com

“I love this song, and I thank God for the music of Big Daddy Weave! God bless them because their music blesses me every day.” —Ken M.

“This song is one of my go-to reminders while I walk on this journey called cancer. Many times I’ve sung this song in tears reminding myself Who holds the plan for my future. God is so good, and He shows that to me on a daily basis. Thank you for sharing your gift with the world.” —Julie S.
