City’s small-business owner, Jones, says a lot about him as an owner and the way he expects his two Precision Collision Centers to be run. Precision Collision Centers’ very own Bill Polzin, brought some color, in a big way, to Scottsdale, Arizona at the ‘World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions,’ Barrett-Jackson. Polzin, Precision Collision Centers’ very talented painter, painted the silver 1962 Corvette Convertible that went across the prestigious BarrettJackson stage on January 21 and sold for $264,000. Even pro golfer, Bubba Watson, had an eye for the Corvette and placed a bid on it.

SYNERGY SERVICES CLOSES THE DOORS OF THRIFT STORE Synergy Services has closed the doors of the thrift store it operated for 17 years at 6571 N. Oak Trafficway in the Gladstone Plaza. “While the store provided a wonderful way to accept donations of clothing and household items to benefit our clients, it also required significant resources to operate,” says Robin Winner, Executive Director at Synergy. Rather than continue to operate the stand-alone store, Synergy will partner with Hillcrest Platte County (HPC) which serves local homeless families and currently operates two thrift stores in the Northland.
