I like when the stars align. So many articles in our women’s issue are the result of multiple meetings that lead to “ah-ha” moments and right-place, right-time scenarios.
Take, for example, our article Taking Care of Business. Over the course of the last year and a half, I met with or was introduced to four incredible women who were offering services for small business owners. All the services are different but vital to a business—so why not feature them all in one article?
About a year ago, I met with John Hill of John Hill Construction, and he casually mentioned he was working on revamping the outside of the Loveland Museum Center. We thought it would be great to feature the exterior renovations in an article, and when we reached out, we discovered the museum was also working on some interior renovations as well. We could highlight both … how serendipitous.
Last, we have been wanting to publish an article on Ashley and her AMAEzing Sweet Shoppe for over a year now ... and every time we thought about doing so, it was during a time of year when we knew she would be busy—pretty much any holiday. This time the timing was right, and we had the decadent space (this issue is a whopping 68 pages) to make her article even longer. Check out Sweet Emotion, and you’ll be ready to indulge that sweet tooth.
We really love how this issue came together. Some of the articles and concepts have been a work in progress for a while, but have finally come together. It just feels like it’s meant to be.

When you think of a museum, you may be transported to halls full of art, glass display cases of pictures, relics from times past. Museums are special places that curate and cultivate a community’s history, and in a place as amazing as Loveland, we’d be remiss not to bring attention to the Loveland Museum Center—a space dedicated to the one-of-a-kind history this part of Ohio has to offer.
“The Loveland Museum Center is vital to the ever-growing community through its mission of collecting, preserving and displaying historical information pertinent to the Greater Loveland area,” says Jenny Shives, Loveland Museum Center Curator and Board Member, someone chock-full of information and history about this amazing space. “It helps in creating a cultural understanding of development and expression between new, existing and former residents.”
Opening its doors to the public on July 7, 1984, the Bonaventure House became the home for the Loveland Historical Society Museum. This house, built in 1862 on Riverside Avenue, was first occupied by Dr. John S. Law, the father of Loveland’s first Mayor. It contains a multitude of rooms that have been carefully, lovingly refurbished and renovated to mimic their appearance from the Victorian era.
Also on the grounds is the Rich Family Log Cabin. “In 1995, under JoAnn Richardson’s directorship, a ‘Save the Cabin Campaign’ was created to help fund the resettlement and restoration of the 1797 cabin,” Jenny explains. “It was completed in 1996.” That same year, “the museum began to aggressively enlarge our collection of photographs by one of the foremost American pictorialists, Nancy Ford Cones (18691962).” And while Cones’s work is featured in museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Loveland Museum Center boasts the largest collection of her work in existence.
Throughout the years as this community has grown, so has the Loveland Museum Center itself—and Loveland-local John Hill (owner of John Hill Construction) has been the tried-and-true go-to for the job. It just makes sense that a man with deep roots here would also be the one helping to preserve the Loveland Museum Center’s beauty—inside and out. “I was born and raised here; we made our living here,” explains John, whose offices are in downtown Loveland, completely intertwining his business in the community. “Our great relationship with the historical society goes back to 2007, when we built the JoAnn Richardson Library and Conference Center,” explaining how his involvement with the museum began. JHC did a historic bedroom renovation in 2016, and also were hired for the World War II memorial that stands on Museum Center grounds.
JHC’s most recent project was a facelift to the outside of the Bonaventure house, removing the siding and remodeling the wrap-around porch. “There were some not-so-historically accurate adjustments to the house—aluminum siding, for example. The goal of the project was to refresh it back to its authentic, architectural elegance,” John remarks. And while it was a big job, John was up for the task. “The fun parts of the project were seeking out correct-looking pieces, as best we can get them today. Because we do major remodeling projects, we have a deep respect for that old-world craftsmanship.”
“Our mission statement: to collect, preserve and display historical information pertinent to the Greater Loveland area, be regarded as a local authority on historical designation, serve as curator of locally significant art, and foster within our community an appreciation and curiosity regarding our area’s past.” - Jenny Shives
Recently, the Museum Center has been closed for interior renovations on its gift shop— with the goal of being able to offer a larger variety of gifts and goods, and have more storage spaces—but there is plenty to look forward to when the doors to the Bonaventure House reopen at the beginning of this month, including “a display of its newest painting acquisitions by well-known Loveland resident artist Dierde Dyson,” Jenny shares. Also among the museum’s permanent collections will be a display focused on several early Loveland families and businesses.
Additionally, a new generation of artists has revived the craft group that has historically been associated with the Museum Center. “The Loveland Museum Design Group has been established to create seasonal displays to enhance Bonaventure House,” Jenny states. Not to be missed are the Lunch and Learn lectures—“The Amazing Civil War, History in Your Backyard” on May 8, presented by Peter Bronson, former editor and reporter for the Cincinnati Enquirer; and an October 24 wine-tasting event called “Fall Back in Time.” In mid-December, the museum will open its doors for guests to visit “Victorian Splendor,” in which the Bonaventure House will be decked out for the holidays.
“One of the best times, one of my favorite times, was in 2016 when Jenny and I helped supervise converting a storeroom into the Victorian Lincoln Room—using items from our collection.” - Jan Beller
Jan Beller, current Director of the Loveland Museum Center, is tied to this community not only through her position at the Center, but also through the land on which she lives. Goodnough Hill, the property she now occupies, has been in her family since the 1870s. “Both my great-grandfather, Archibald Buchannan Brock, and WW Brock started the first lumber mill, followed by a hardware store, then Building and Loan Co.,” Jan explains of her links to the Loveland area. “I have boxes of letters, memorabilia, pictures of relatives and friends, certificates and diaries … dating from before my grandmother’s marriage to Archie C. Brock.” Much of which can be seen on display at the Museum Center.
Jan, who has held the position of director since 1999, found herself learning the ways of the museum from JoAnn Richarson.“Jo was fun to work with, and I called her my mentor,” Jan explains. “She taught me all about running the Museum and more.”
With a passion for Loveland and the Museum Center, Jan says she has loved working with volunteers, and the opportunity to represent LMC’s amassing growth over the last 20 years. Another favorite of hers? “When I can work with someone wanting to find background information on a distant relative and they find something unknown—it’s like a treasure hunt!”

At last, the weather is warming and the sun’s here to stay! As the focal point for summer fun, now’s the perfect time to bring your patio back to life. The key to a truly inviting space? Pressure washing. Yep, thoroughly clean your patio now —enjoy it summer, fall and beyond.
According to Kyle Osborne at Osborne Pro Wash, there are some pros for cleaning and sealing your stamped concrete or concrete patio in the spring (driveway, sidewalks and pool deck, too):
Added Appeal
Having a patio that’s clean and well maintained means family and friends can enjoy time in an attractive, inviting space—and adds value to your home over its lifetime.
Durability
Ohio’s drastic weather changes with snow, ice and rain take a toll on a concrete surface. Regular cleaning and sealing keep it looking its best and extend its life.
Health & Safety
Pressure washing helps remove dust, mold and allergens, and reduces the risk of slipping on accumulated materials.
Seal of Approval
Sealing the surface after cleaning not only enhances colors and textures, it also provides added protection—Kyle recommends sealing every three to five years.
Make It Easy, Call in the Pros
Osborne Pro Wash uses only the highest quality products and can quickly take care of any exterior soft or pressure washing need.
5 EASY STEPS TO PATIO PERFECTION
1. Clear the Deck Remove and inspect furniture and planters.
2. Clean Sweep Use a broom or blower to get rid of leaves and twigs.
3. Apply Pressure Deep clean patio surface with a pressure washer.
4. Set the Stage Reposition furniture and planters.
5. Brighten Up Add seasonal plants and string lights.

If you’re stumped on how to surprise the women in your life this Mother’s Day, DILS Laser Designs has the perfect gifts for those special moms, wives, grans and sisters. A perfusionist in the medical field by day—a technician responsible for the Cardiopulmonary Bypass Pump used in open-heart surgeries—DILS owner and Loveland local Hetal Zurlinden’s passion for crafting on the side finally turned into a full-fledged business last March.
“It all kind of fell together,” Hetal explains. “I’ve always been into crafting, and I had a Cricut, but that wasn’t really doing it for me.”
Feeling the creative bug growing, Hetal was inspired to turn her passion into personalized presents.
“I saw people getting these laser machines—and I just loved the concept, so I ordered one and it took off from there,” Hetal remembers. “It was a huge learning process, starting with small wooden pieces—now I’ve honed the technique and can create a variety of items.”
DILS Laser Designs is named after Hetal’s father, Dilip, who passed away six years ago.
“I really wanted to integrate him into it,” Hetal smiles. “We had a chalkboard wall at our old house that my dad had signed, ‘Always with you, love dad.’ So when we moved, we cut that piece of wall out to bring with us. I ended up tracing that handwritten note from him and turning it into a framed piece. ‘Dil’ is actually ‘heart’ in Hindi, so it’s a two-fold meaning—my dad was always the heart of our family. If he were here, I know he’d be my biggest supporter.”
Hetal’s laser machine can burn and engrave just like a laser beam would, a mini beast that’s roughly 2x3 feet.
“My husband had to make a stand for it,” Hetal laughs. “Sometimes he comes up with ideas or he’ll have feedback, but he’s just been really supportive no matter what I try or create. Small businesses are tough, so it’s been slow to start—but it’s growing.”
The first items Hetal produced were engraved wood items, such as Easter tokens in the shape of a bunny that were good for “A Day Date with Mom” or “Pizza Night.” She also created s’mores sticks with personalized handles.
“I just really enjoy making something I know someone is going to love.”
“As Mother’s Day approached, I made flower holders with engraved stands … so when kids picked flowers in the backyard, they could put them right in there,” Hetal says.
Over time, Hetal taught herself how to trace handwriting, as well as work with leather and acrylic products.
“I do everything except metal—so things like leather picture frames, hat patches, coated tumblers, wooden items … especially any wood product like cutting boards, boxes and frames. Wood has a little more versatility. I also do acrylic, including keychains and table signs.”
DILS also offers crafts, kitchen items, gifts for men and women, teacher and baby gifts, wedding items, holiday-themed items, unique pieces for the office or school, and a whole lot more.
Hetal’s top picks for Mother’s Day?
“We have cute wrapped tumblers, valet trays to hold jewelry, jewelry boxes—those can be engraved or personalized in any way,” Hetal says. “With summer coming up, I think the flower holders and baseball hats would be perfect.”
But her best-selling item? Those personalized recipe boards.
“Of course it depends on what season or holiday is coming up, but people really love our handwritten recipe boards,” Hetal shares—an option that transforms something written by a loved one into a one-of-a-kind memento. “You just take a picture of a recipe or note, send it to me, and I engrave the entire thing on a cutting board. It’s great for keepsakes or displaying a grandma’s or mother’s recipe. It’s a wonderful showpiece.” And perfect for housewarming presents, birthday celebrations, unique holiday gifts and more.

“Every time I want to try something new, I research it and learn it … I really enjoy that.”
They say a smile can change the world. For nearly 40 years, the dentists and staff at CinciSmiles have been dedicated to changing their corner of the world— and beyond—one patient at a time.
“We’ve heard some pretty incredible life stories, where a patient starts dating again or they get married,” says Dr. Andrew Kitzmiller, CinciSmiles partner/owner. “We’re talking about a whole new realm of confidence … to the point where their loved ones will come in and say ‘Thank you—for the first time in family photos, they smiled .’”
“LOVED ONES WILL COME IN AND SAY ‘THANK YOU—FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FAMILY PHOTOS, THEY SMILED.’”
For patients of CinciSmiles, located in Milford, that sense of confidence may be due to their new set of veneers, or straighter teeth thanks to Invisalign. It may come from feeling more refreshed after a Botox or dermal filler treatment. It could be because they finally ( finally) got a good night’s sleep with successful oral appliance therapy for sleep apnea. Fillings and teeth cleanings? That’s just scratching the surface. This isn’t your parent’s dentist—and for Dr. Timothy Kitzmiller, who opened the practice in 1988, that’s exactly how he wants it.
“I had a terrible dentist growing up,” Tim recalls. “In dental school, I wanted to learn how not to do everything he did. It helped me to be very empathetic toward people with fears and anxieties because I had to work through them myself.”
There’s nothing scary about the CinciSmiles office, which underwent a major redesign and remodel in 2022. Modern artwork lines the wall. Treatment rooms to the staff kitchen, the interiors are sleek and sophisticated. Walking in the front door feels like you’re stepping into a spa, not a dental office, and that’s the intention.
“It’s funny how many people will sit down, and I’ll hear the heavy sigh,” says Tim. “I’ll ask, ‘Are you okay?’ And they’ll say, ‘I can finally turn my cell phone off.’’’
From décor to services—to the team itself—CinciSmiles is probably the only dental practice like it in Greater Cincinnati. Where else can you go and be seen by practically an entire family—husband, wife, and one of their sons? In addition to Tim and Andrew, you can also find Lori Kitzmiller at CinciSmiles. She began working at the practice after her husband, Tim, asked her to help while a couple of staff members were on maternity leave.
“He asked me to fill in for a couple of months … 20 years later, I’m still here,” she laughs.
Today she is the Sleep Medicine Coordinator for the CinciSleep side of the practice, which treats patients for sleep apnea using oral appliance therapy.
Because May is Better Sleep Month, ask yourself: Do you snore a lot through the night? Wake up still feeling tired? Or worse, find yourself waking up, gasping for air? These are all symptoms of obstructive sleep apnea, or OSA, a disorder that causes disruption of breathing during sleep.
Often those with sleep apnea are treated through Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP), which means wearing a mask over the mouth and nose while sleeping. But CinciSleep offers an FDAapproved alternative to this cumbersome form of therapy—a custom oral appliance prescribed by a physician and created by a trained dentist.
As Sleep Medicine Coordinator, Lori is the first point of contact for patients who want to consider this therapy. Patients are brought into the Sleep Suite for an initial conversation to see if patients want to move forward with treatment. If they do, scans are taken, and results are interpreted by a board-certified physician, who will prescribe oral appliance therapy, if appropriate.
“It’s amazing how many times people will say, ‘This really changed my life,’” says Tim. “They’ll tell us they get clarity back. They can watch a whole movie at night, without getting elbowed by their significant other for falling asleep in the middle.”
Tim should know—he learned about sleep apnea at a conference in 2007. More tellingly, he discovered he had it himself.
“After Tim got his first sleep appliance, the difference it made in his health and well-being was incredible!” says Lori, who’s been enjoying a quieter night’s sleep for years now.
Their son Andrew joined the practice five years ago, but becoming a dentist wasn’t always in the plans. Although he completed his pre-dental studies as an undergrad, he also earned a minor in entrepreneurial studies. After college graduation, he worked at startup companies for about a year and a half before deciding to see what dental school “was all about.”
“I can’t necessarily say that my dad forced it on me,” admits Andrew, as his parents laugh. “But just by the nature of being around it, I could see how he was able to help people out—and do really neat and interesting things to change people’s lives.”
Now, the three spend their workdays together—and sometimes their off-time together, too.
“I figure we’re still doing pretty well if, toward the end of the week, he asks, ‘What are we doing this weekend?’” jokes Tim.
The Kitzmillers have another son, who chose not to go into dentistry, but all four are close. That sense of family is an integral part of how the Kitzmillers approach their practice—they believe in building relationships with their patients.
“When someone comes in for their first office visit, one of the best questions we ask is ‘What can we do for you today?’” Tim notes. “Often, patients are surprised because they haven’t been asked that question before while sitting in a dental chair.”
The Kitzmillers believe in providing patients with the benefits of everything a truly full-service dentistry can offer—whether that’s whiter, straighter teeth, a smoother forehead, or finally, thankfully, a good night’s sleep.
“You know, when it’s finally time to get that beautiful smile, or try Botox,” says Timothy. “It’s really the whole person. Making people look good, feel good … just feel good about themselves.”
Of course, at CinciSmiles, the smiles aren’t limited to brushing, flossing and crowns—nor limited by a patient’s lack of insurance, either. The practice offers its very own in-house dental savings plan. As the Kitzmillers have seen, changing the way dentistry is practiced has changed their patients’ lives for the last three and a half decades … turning a trip to the dentist into something more like a day at the spa. Talk about smiles all around.

Independent businesses are the heart and soul of Loveland—and we’ve been blessed with a number of entrepreneurs who improve both our business community and the lives of friends and neighbors, as well.
This month, we’re shining the spotlight on a few of the women-owned businesses that are making Loveland a more vibrant community—and a better place for everyone to live, work and play.
WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS MAKING AN IMPACT
ARTICLE BY BILL FURBEE“I consider myself an Empowerment Coach,” says Shelby. “I educate and empower others to do what’s best for them with information and practical tips.” Shelby provides what she calls “mental munchies”—bite-size portions of change that clients can add to their daily lives, for both personal and professional enrichment.
“I found that many in the self-help sector provided information and resources that weren’t beneficial for me,” Shelby shares. “Wellness isn’t cookie-cutter—what may work for someone else, won’t necessarily work for me. As an African-American woman, I realized there weren’t many people who looked like me who were openly sharing their struggles and stories … nor ways to heal and become better.”
Shelby takes pride in sharing personal stories that people can relate to, as well as diving into topics that some may be cautious of. “As an Empowerment Coach, it’s my personal belief that we know the answers of the things we need to do, but sometimes struggle with where and how to get started. Clients consider me their accountability partner,” she says. “I walk along with them as they navigate new ways of being, and challenge the old beliefs of who they were.”
“Consider us your small business bookkeeper,” offers Jen. “We help manage your business books, so you can focus more of your time on what’s meaningful to you. We know you probably put it all on the line at some point, and now you deserve a business that supports your profit, your passions, and pays you on the regular.”
Less than 50 percent of small businesses survive beyond 5 years, Jen shares—and one of the primary reasons can be financial struggles. “But I’m not just here to make sure you avoid the worst-case scenario of closing your doors. I’m here to help you keep an eye on your numbers and be your sidekick in your journey, to thrive in both business and life.”
Numbers by Jen, she says, is all about approachable, fear-free bookkeeping that frees you up to do your thing. “I’m not some scary guy in a suit waiting to grill you on everything you’ve been doing wrong— none of our team members are,” she smiles. “Our meetings are fun and upbeat … leaving you feeling good about your progress toward financial freedom. We’re not blindly emailing you reports each month. We’re involved and you’ll hear from us regularly— because you and your numbers deserve attention.”

Cat and Bat provides personalized administrative support to volunteer boards and solopreneurs at the executive level. “It’s a fancy way of saying, ‘You make the big decision, we execute it.’ Our support usually takes on the form of project management, content creation, communications, event management and more,” says owner Danielle.
Cat and Bat, she says, fills the void for small organizations that are at the “precipice” of growing—but might not have the capacity or budget to hire fulltime employees. “We work on a fractional basis with packages starting at 15 hours a month,” Danielle explains. “Meaning administrative support can be provided without breaking the bank.”
In fact, Danielle brings more than 15 years of administrative experience to her clients’ tables. “To customize our services to each client’s needs, we aren’t just task managers, but administrative collaborators. We are your thought partners in your organization—and definitely nerd out when it comes to helping your organization thrive. That’s why we call ourselves ‘administrative heroes!’”
With a passion for people leadership and organizational operations, Katie is a certified trauma-informed entrepreneur, space holder and facilitator—helping founders and owners of growing organizations break through their capacity ceiling by alleviating the overwhelm of daily business operations.
“We aim to replace hustle with effective help,” Katie affirms, “so that clients can focus on doing more of their most important work, with less strain and stress.”
The services Katie offers are collaborative, with value price transparency, service choices, and avoidance of any long-term contracts, hidden fees or cancellation penalties. “Our services are intended to provide necessary support to founders who need to pull away from all the day-to-day management and execution in order to carry their vision forward and create ongoing opportunities for their team to continue doing meaningful work,” she explains.
“My approach prioritizes not just efficiency but curiosity and understanding—creating spaces where both businesses and individuals can thrive.” That approach, Katie explains, “brings the fun back into a business, makes progress achievable, and more important, offers a sense of empowerment even when things feel tough.”

“I inherited my grandmother’s Betty Crocker Cookbook . Back in the day, it was the only source we had—we didn’t have the internet,” Ashley laughs. “That was my cookbook, how I learned, self-taught. My mom would say I was ‘Miss Better Crocker.’”
No formal schooling, just flour, sugar, and lots and lots of practice. Researching tips and techniques via the web, YouTube and social media. “If I don’t know how to do something, I’ll find resources. I don’t shy away from a challenge. I have this attitude that I’m going to figure it out.” And figure it out she did—really, really well.
After dreaming about learning to decorate sugar cookies for years (even buying the equipment she’d need for almost a decade), Ashley just dove in, launching AMAEzing Sweet Shoppe as a “cottage bakery” from home during the covid spring of 2020. With help from her two young daughters, Ashley turned out bushels of decorated cookies for friends and family. Then friends of friends, then social media followers. Cookies, exclusively, for a few years—until someone asked for a cake. You can guess what followed.
“It started taking over our kitchen,” Ashley flashes a wry smile remembering those box-dinner days and late-baking nights. “I wanted to take that next step, and this space came available, and with it the opportunity to grow—slow and small, that was my plan.”
Now from a commercial storefront, to those cookies and cakes Ashley added pies, cinnamon rolls, scones, croissants, seasonal specialties and so much more. AMAEzing shakes and ice cream cookie sandwiches came last summer—starring small-batch, artisan-made ice cream delivered fresh weekly from Indiana.
Her menu changes daily, answering her own siren sugar song or items that holidays inspire and customers crave. This spring, Ashley fired up her shop’s drive-through window and now offers lattes, espressos, cappuccinos, affogatos, hot chocolates and gourmet teas. Keto bubble waffles (both simply fruited or decadently loaded) have followed; savory breakfast sammies and brunch focaccias are next. And you know she’s not stopping there.
“I never wanted to be limited just because I was a selftaught baker … there wasn’t one place where you could go and get everything. I wanted to be a sweet shop, and make a variety of things, see what I could do. And I have dreams to grow bigger—that’s just how I am. This is hopefully a stepping stone to the next space.” Did someone say franchise?
The Shoppe itself is a nod to the (literally) amazing women in her life. Mae is a family moniker—a middle name gracing two grandmothers, two of her daughters (one living, one deceased) and Ashley herself. Because family is at the heart of everything she does.
“I wanted a place where my family, especially my girls, could go to learn real-world, life experiences. I saw the potential of not just being a homemaker, but being able to support my family even more. A place where we could work together, grow together … a place where we spent more time together.”
Ashley admits that being a one-woman-run small business is a challenging road—but she’s never been one to shy away from that. “I want my girls to see that anything is possible, whether you want to own a bakery or be a doctor, whatever you want to be. You don’t have to be just a nurse, you don’t have to be just a mom, you don’t have to be what people expect you to be. You’re not limited, you can just do it. I’ve always been someone to just do it.”
Just one local business, working to grow both her community and family, all through the sweet, sweet magic of sugar-spun goodness—that’s something worth indulging in (and to be inspired by).

Pampering your fur baby from head to paw just got a whole lot easier with Zoomin Groomin, our area’s newest mobile grooming spa.
Imagine the convenience of a professional pet stylist coming right to your front door, and spending quality one-on-one time taking care of the grooming needs of your dog or cat. No wrestling your pet into the car, dealing with fur all over the seat, or waiting hours for them to be finished!
Owners Matt and Andrea Austria, who opened Zoomin Groomin Northeast Cincinnati in August 2023, knew the community would be a great match for this innovative style of pet pampering. “We saw a market for customers who value convenience and
exceptional service for their pets, start to finish,” says Matt.
So why choose a mobile groomer? Matt says the benefits of using a mobile spa over a traditional groomer are endless. The biggest draw—the convenience of having someone come directly to your door without any wait time. The large van—clean and stocked with top-of-the-line eco-friendly products—is a cage-free environment, where your pet receives one-on-one attention from a professional pet stylist. Which means there are no other pets in the van to induce stress or share grooming time—a big plus for many pets and their owners. There’s also no need to tap into or use your water or electricity—the van is completely self-sufficient.
ARTICLE BY LISA FLETCHER | PHOTOGRAPHY BY STEPHANIE MEINBERGZoomin Groomin offers three luxury packages— Bath & Blowout, Bath & Tidy Trim, Bath & All-Over Trim—with prices varying depending on each pet’s breed and weight. Every package includes a complimentary hygiene routine, which covers ear cleaning, nail trim, and teeth cleaning.
“Our pets absolutely love the experience,” Matt smiles. “The love and attention our pet stylists show the animals really makes all the difference in ensuring the spa day is a positive and relaxing one.”
And their non-fury clients agree. “I’ve been using Zoomin Groomin for the last few months and love it!” says happy customer Emily. “My dog needs regular grooming, and I always struggled with scheduling appointments and blocking off drop-off/pickup time. As a working mom with two young kids, I love that they reach out to me instead. Then they arrive at my door to work on my dog ... that’s helped so much. Plus, our dog used to get nervous going to the groomer—she doesn’t now! Her cuts are consistent, and she looks great.”
Starting the company seemed like a no-brainer for the married couple. “It was a natural fit for us,” Matt explains. “We love pets, and we love the amount of convenience our mobile spa provides, while maintaining a healthy routine for pets and their families.”
For soon-to-be new mom Andrea, starting a biz with her husband has been a long-term goal that’s finally come to fruition. “It’s always been a dream of mine,” Andrea shares. “I’m so thankful to work closely with my husband while also building relationships within our community and with our employees.”
“The best part about having a family business is working with someone you trust,” she continues. “I love that we can problem-solve and be creative together, and are always there to support one other no matter what.”
Interested in giving your pup the ultimate (and oh-so-convenient) pampering experience? This part is easy, too ... schedule online or just give Matt and Andrea a call!

Stop in or use our drive-through. Open daily for breakfast and lunch. M-F 7:00am-2:30pm. Weekends 8:00am-2:30pm.
This recipe is quick and easy to make with just a few simple steps. It tastes great on its own, but dipping it in olive oil infused with fresh herbs adds an extra level of flavor.
INGREDIENTS:
• 1 ¾ cups warm water
• 2 ½ teaspoons sugar
• 1 package active dry yeast
• 4 cups flour
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 4 tablespoons olive oil
Optional:
• Fresh rosemary
• Coarse sea salt
• Fresh pressed garlic
Use a stand mixer with a fitted dough hook, and stir together the water and sugar. Sprinkle the yeast on top and stir again. Set mixture aside for 5 minutes. Mixture should be foamy. Next, add the flour and salt and mix on low until a shaggy dough forms. Increase speed and mix for an additional 4-5 minutes. Brush a large bowl with olive oil. Transfer the dough to the bowl and cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a damp towel. Set aside for about 1 to 1 ½ hours until the dough has doubled in size.
Brush a 9x13-inch baking dish with 2 tablespoons of oil. Uncover the dough and rub hands with olive oil. Slide your hands under the dough and fold it onto itself. Continue to work your way around the edge of the bowl, folding the dough onto itself until there is a ball that you can lift from the bowl. Place the dough in the prepared pan and press the dough to the edges. Cover the pan with plastic wrap or a damp towel and set aside to rise for about 45 minutes until the dough has doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 425°F. Drizzle the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil over the dough. Rub your hands with olive oil and use your fingers to make indentions on the surface of the dough. Sprinkle it with salt and rosemary and any desired toppings. Bake for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown.
