This course is designed to teach you web design and development. Through this course, you will develop the knowledge and skills needed to design, build and maintain usable and accessible front-end web pages and websites. You receive hands-on training in creating webpages with HTML5 and CSS3 (Cascading Style Sheets); web programming with PHP, JavaScript, and JavaScript libraries such as jQuery ; and database integration with MySQL. At the end of the course, students will have a portfolio of work that can be showcased. The course is open to beginning developers, but you must have strong end-user computer skills. Some computer programming knowledge is recommended.
