Summer Camp
Leading Little Arrows has organized a 6 week summer camp program exploring museums, zoos, gardens, and more, around the DFW metroplex! Our learners will have hands-on experiences with art, STEM, environmental sciences, life skills, and social situations.

N O T E

Welcome to the first exciting week of our summer camp! As we embark on this journey of discovery and fun, we are thrilled to have you and your children join us. This week's theme is Science Exploration, and we have an incredible lineup of activities and adventures planned that will ignite curiosity and foster a love for learning.

TUESDAY
Texas weather was crazy at the beginning of the week, so Tuesday was an at home learning day about thunderstorms, tornadoes, and flooding.
THURSDAY
The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History has so much to offer. Learners were able to experiment with dry ice, test gravity, create tornadoes, and even test their bravery by laying on a bed of nails!
FRIDAY
We had a blast at the Perot Museum in Dallas! Our campers enjoyed the dinosaur exhibit, the music lab, robot racing, and the prehistoric predator vs prey game.

THE BENEFITS OF SCIENTIFIC EXPLORATION
ENHANCES CRITICAL THINKING

Exploring scientific concepts fosters curiousity and creativity, encouraging kids to ask questions and seek answers.
BUILD CONFIDENC
Engaging in scientific activities helps children develop problem-solving skills and think critically about the world around them.

ENCOURAGES CURIOUSITY AND CREATIVITY

Successfully completing science projects and experiments boosts children’s confidence in their abilities to understand and influence their environment.
Science exploration during the summer offers numerous benefits for our young learners!

CAMPERS’ AT HOME
To extend the spirit of exploration and learning beyond our camp visits, here are three fun activities you can enjoy at home as a family!

LEGO
DIY DINO DIG
Create a mini archeological dig in your backyard inspired by our visit to the Fort Worth Museum. Bury some dinosaur bones or fossils in a sandbox, then let your little archaeologist excavate and piece together their findings!
ENGINEERING CHALLENGES
Set up LEGO building challenges at home, inspired by Snapology. Challenge your kids to build the tallest tower, a funictioinsl bridge, or even a simple robot! This activity enhances engineering skills and creativity!
BACKYARD
ASTRONOMY NIGHT
Bring the planetarium experience from the Perot Museum to your backyard. Set up a telescope or use binoculars to observe the night sky. Identify constellations, planets, and maybe you’ll even see a shooting star!
