HeyTribe!

This week has been absolutely amazing! I returned home feeling so refreshed and grateful after talking about Microschools to a room full of Hospital Educators at the HEAL Conference in Indiana.

Microschooling provides a solution for every child to continue learning and growing despite their health struggles

Moms and parentsyou are doing a great job! Don’t ever forget!

It was truly humbling to hear stories of families and communities that could benefit from Microschools like Leading Little Arrows

I am incredibly thankful to have connected with some amazing people to work together on creating Microschools for these children and families I am so excited to see the positive changes we can make beyond our own community

I couldn't stop talking about all of you in our Tribe to everyone I met It really made me appreciate our Tribe and everything we have accomplished together!

This week, please take a moment to appreciate your family and your health Remember that you are doing so much and for all the moms out there, treat yourself to some self-care activities that you enjoy, whether it's taking a long bath, reading a book, or going for a walk in nature Ask for help with tasks around the house so you can fully unwind without feeling overwhelmed Plan a lowkey celebration that suits your preferences, whether it's having a quiet meal at home or going out for brunch with loved ones

Remember that Mother's Day is about honoring yourself as well as celebrating motherhood – so take some time to pamper and appreciate yourself!

Olympic-filled Fun WHAT’S BEEN

happening?

Can you believe that it's already May? We only have a few weeks left in this semester before we go on break for the summer Our newsletter will also be going on break after this week But don't despair, LLA will still be hosting all the fun events, such as our much anticipated Homeschool Field Day on May 17th. LLA will also continue in the fall with more exciting activities and new adventures!

This week, our founder, Ms. Amber O., has been speaking at the HEAL conference in Indiana about implementing Microschools for children who suffer from health struggles or are bound in hospitals. We are so proud of the work she is doing to ensure equity within education

At Tutorial, we have been busy learning about the Olympics The Littles made Olympic Rings and learned about the symbolism of the rings In art, we made our very own gold medals out of clay Miss Uniquka helped the students prepare for their fashion show, and Ms Brittany explored long and short-term memories with the learners. Ms Patrice came back to our very popular social club, where the kids made sweet Mother’s Day presents!

The kids had so much fun seeing their friends and the grown ups had even more fun chatting in the parents' lounge, having refreshments and enjoying some kid-free conversations!

We at Leading Little Arrows would love to wish all the moms and moms-at-heart a wonderful Mothers' Day!
