What an incredible month of March we had at the Club. The weather has been incredible all month and Members have taken advantage to getoutandplaymoregolf,tennisandpickleball.
Our Women’s and Men’s Member-Guests could not have gone any better. A special Thank You to both tournament committees for their helppriortoandduringthetournaments.Iwouldalsoliketorecognize our incredible team. Everyone stepped up and made the events feel special for our members and their guests. I had a special comment madetomebyoneoftheguests.Theycametoseemeandsaid“This is the best event I play in each year The golf is great, the food is amazingbutmostimportantly,thestaffmakesitseemliketheycannot wait to see us. They know the guest names and have even noted my favoritedrinkovertheyears.”. Congratulationstoeveryoneinvolved.
DuringtheMemberGuestwewereabletotakeasneakpeakatthenew DeckArea Itisgoingtobeincredible Nowthatthefinishingtouchesare beingcompleted,wehavesomuchtolookforwardtoontheDeck.The kitchenconstructionisreallymovingalongnow.Theconcretefloorsare completed along with plumbing and electrical installation. The exterior of the addition looks fantastic. Thank you for your patience as these projectscontinue.
Therestroomsatthe19thHoleandhole#15havebeenrefurbishedand have never looked better. This was a very challenging project, and I wanted to recognize Warren Gass for his efforts. Warren was able to completetheprojectsintimeandalmostcompletelybyhimself.Dueto his incredible efforts, he is our Limitless Coin recipient for March. Thank you,Warren!

As we welcome April, we are pleased to reflect on very successful Member-Guest events and a productive month of March. The dry weatherhascertainlybeenastruggleforus,withonly0.5inchesof rain since the start of February. Despite these conditions, we ' ve workedhardtokeepthecourseuptoourstandards
Our efforts to improve course conditions continue as we shave downroughareastoshortergrass,helpingtopromotehealthierturf and support our battle against weeds. As we prepare for the summer months, we will begin implementing a more aggressive weed management program to ensure the course remains in top condition.
Additionally, we’ve started removing the remaining shrubs around the golf course, creating a more open and uniform look that will enhanceboththeaestheticsandplayability.

EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH
WARREN GASS
MeetWarrenGass,ourdedicatedandhighlyskilledMaintenanceEngineer at Lago Mar, whose commitment to excellence shines through every task he tackles. Warren is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of the clubhouse and surrounding structures, and he takes great pride in ensuringthatLagoMarkeepsimproving.
Born in King's Mountain, NC, Warren grew up on a farm until his family moved to Newark, NJ, when he was 12 years old. He has lived in Florida since2004.
Asaproudveteran,WarrenservedintheBosniaandPanamawarsbefore embarking on a career in mechanics. His extensive experience includes working as a mechanic for Club Car electric and gas vehicles, as well as golf carts. With certifications in electrical, diesel, and small engine technology,Warren’sexpertiseisunmatched.
Warren'spassionforhisworkbroughthimtoLagoMartwoyearsago,after yearsofservicinggolfcartsandoff-roadvehiclesfromPalmBeachCounty to Key West. He was excited to join the Lago Mar team, where his skill set would be put to great use. Ernie recognized Warren’s talent and brought himaboard,knowinghewouldbeaninvaluableasset.
Recently, Warren completed the renovation of the bathrooms at the 19th hole, as well as hole 15 on the golf course, all in record time and with remarkableskill.Hishardworkanddedicationtothepropertyhavemadea significantimpactontheoverallexperienceforallwhovisitLagoMar.
Warren;s passion for his work and his pride in maintaining Lago Mar’s excellencecontinuetoshine.Weareincrediblyluckytohavehimasapart ofourteam!
