It truly is a wonderful day at Lago Mar! Over this past year we have seen incredible progress and excitement throughout the Club. The Golf Course hasneverbeenbetter,ourracquetsportsprograminghasexploded,and therenovationshavebegun.

Thesesuccessesareallbecauseofyou,ourmembers Yoursupportofthe Club is what makes Lago Mar such a special place. Whether it is participation in our events, referring potential new Members or the pride you show when representing all of us at inter club events, you make us shine.ThereputationofLagoMarthroughoutourareaisaClubfilledwith incrediblyfriendlymembersandonethatisontherise.

I would like to once again recognize Gabriel Jean and Mike Trejo, who were the first recipients of our “Limitless” staff recognition program Since they received the honor I have been fortunate to hear so many of you congratulatingthem. Weareveryfortunatetohaveteammemberswho arepassionateaboutyourexperienceattheClub.

Aswereflectonthepastyear,it’simpossiblenottofeelanoverwhelming senseofprideandgratitudeforeverythingwe’veaccomplishedtogether at Lago Mar. It has been a remarkable year of growth, both in our membership and in the vibrant community we continue to build. We’ve seen new faces join our family, new friendships formed, and exciting eventsthatbroughtusallclosertogether.

Thisyear,weexperiencedanincrediblesurgeinmembership,welcoming many new families, couples, and individuals who are already making theirmarkonourcommunity.Ourgrowthwasn’tjustaboutthenumbers it was about enhancing the culture of camaraderie, support, and connection that makes Lago Mar so special. We are thrilled to see how quickly our new members have embraced everything the Club has to offer,fromgolfandtennistodiningandsocialevents.

Amongtheyear’sbiggesthighlightswereourMemberEvents.Thesewere a true celebration of you our valued members. It was heartwarming to see the club filled with laughter, conversation, and good times as we enjoyed live entertainment, delicious food, and an incredible sense of community.

We are thrilled for another exciting season at Lago Mar Country Club! Thispastsummer,weundertooksignificantimprovementsthatwecan’t waitforyoutoexperience.

Youwill noticenewshortgrassareasaroundthegolfcourse,particularly around the five tees and leading into the fairways. Our team has also madegreatstridesincleaningupweedsthroughouttheproperty.While there’sstillworktobedone,we’repleasedwiththeimprovementswe’ve achieved.

Ourfairwaysunderwentverticuttingtoremovetonsofthatch,enhancing playability and reducing graininess. You can look forward to firmer, faster, and healthier greens this year thanks to aggressive verticutting, dryject, aerifying, and topdressing. We’ve also focused on eliminating weedpressureonthegreens,ensuringabetterplayingsurface.

Starting in November, we’ll be introducing new traditional-style tee markers, along with updated flags, cups, and other accessories to enhancetheaestheticsofthecourse.

Additionally, we’re planning to refresh the bunkers and mulch beds aroundtheproperty.

We hope you’re as excited as we are for the upcoming season, and we can’twaittoseeyououtonthecourse!

Greetings,Members!IhopeeveryoneisasexcitedasIamforanotherfantastic season of tennis here at the Club Whether you ' re a seasoned player or just pickinguptheracquet,weareheretohelpyouimproveyourgameandgetthe mostoutofeverysessiononthecourt.

We have been working on the organization of team clinics, beginner’s clinics, Saturday clinics, Junior Programs as well as some pickleball activities, giving Members the opportunity to join in on the different activities.

Tennis Court side - we have been working daily to improve the quality andappearanceofthetenniscourtsandgrounds.We’vehiredafull-time court maintenance person Pauly, who is here daily. We are adding new material on a weekly base to all the courts, we have painted fences, replaced nets on court #3, , replaced damaged windbreakers and now wearegoingtobuildafencetoenclosecourt#1.

Wehaveaddedtwotennisprofessionalstoourstaff, YohnyRomeroand Luis Tittle, both come with international credentials and come with tremendous experience teaching and playing. Yohny achieved an ATP World Ranking of 262 in singles, played Wimbledon and U.S Open qualifyingrounds.Luiswasnationallyrankedinhishomecountryandhas over 20 years of teaching experience. Jude Ogilve will be returning November1stfortheseason

On the Pickleball side, we have hired an instructor with international credentials who is available to teach private, semi-private and group instruction.

Looking ahead, we are putting together new and exiting initiatives to provide members with more activities throughout the year. Members will be able to see the improvements and activities taking place on the club calendar

As we approach another season at Lago Mar Country Club, we want encourage you to try some of the instruction programs offered here at the club. There are several groups and clinics that are already set in place Please keep in mind that additional group classes are available upon request. The group setting is a fun and social way to learn the game,sograbafewfriendsorletmepairyouup.

Beginner groups are available all year long and clubs are provided ensuring you love the game before you need to purchase clubs. Which wewillalsohelptoguideyouthrough. Thisisagreatwaytomeetother membersandgetinvolvedsocially.

Privatelessonsareavailableincludingtheuseofvideo,trainingaidsand Trackman.Oncourseinstructionandshortgamelessonsareofferedand areessentialforimprovingyourscores. Contactmyselforoneofourgolf professionalstoimproveyourgame.
