Services will begin on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 7:00 pm. Apostle Rene Reed (United Kingdom Ministries, Columbus, MS) will be preaching. Saturday, October 15, 2016, Apostle Reed will teach a class for all those in the Five Fold Ministry (Apostle, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers). The class will begin at 12:45 pm. All ministries are welcome to attend.

Services will conclude on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 11:00 am. Pastor Leathel Sanders (House of Bethesda Christian Faith Church, Little Rock, AR) will be preaching. We would love for you to join us and be refreshed by the presence of the Lord. During this time, God is doing His greatest work and to be a part of it we must be sober and alert, in position to be used by Him. We are expecting a powerful Word from the Lord to encourage, uplift and strengthen His people so we can be more effective during this end time harvest. We hope to see you there!

Be You Part 2 Who are you? I begin this section with the same question I asked 3 months ago. Did you allow God to show you who you really are apart from the expectations and opinions of others? My prayer is that you are able to confidently say “I’m exactly who God created me to be” and that you never try to be what you think others want you to be. I like these hobbies, these clothes, these foods, etc. Now that you have begun to embrace the YOU that God says you are, what will you do when you face wanting to reconnect with friends who might not agree with that? Will you change yourself to fit in with new friends at your new school? Will you throw behind you everything you have been taught to fit in with certain groups of people in college and not be seen as the “outcast”? Do not be shaped by this world; instead be changed within by a new way of thinking. Then you will be able to decide what God wants for you; you will know what is good and pleasing to him and what is perfect. (Romans 12:2, NCV) It is important that you know who God says you are. And it is more important still that you know Who God is according to His Word. When you know without a doubt Who God is and no one is able to tell you differently, you will be more confident in who you are in Him. You won’t succumb to peer pressure to do things you know are not right. There are many youth and young adults who make poor choices because no one has taught them any different. When they bully or make fun of others, it is because they’re not secure in who they are. They don’t know who they can be in Jesus. Be a light for them. Walk with your head held high knowing that you aren’t being stuck up or conceited but that you are confident in who you are in Christ. Show those who think you are stuck up the love of God. And if God opens up an opportunity for you to talk to them, let them know that God loves them, too. I know what you are probably thinking: “I am too young to witness to someone about Jesus.” But you are not.

You witness every day just by living for God. And whether you know it or not, people are watching you. Don’t let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity. 1 Timothy 4:12 (NLT) Witnessing is not what you say—it is how you live. You don’t have to say a word for people to know there is something different about you. All you have to do is live a life pleasing to God. They’ll see the difference. Be confident in who are you in God and walk in it every day. And ask God to give you the words to say to anyone who asks you why you live the way you live. Love you guys!

A MOTHERS LOVE A mothers love is unconditional, incomparable, and unlimited no matter what you've done, where you've been, or who you've seen. You can take your mother through hell and back and she'll still say "I love you" because you are her baby, her blood you are what makes her world go round.

We all have questions that we need answers to. “Ask the Pastor

Apostle Milton & Evangelist Janice Harper

The vision began in January of 1995 after the death of my brother and my mother. I was at an all time low. God showed me a vision in which He took me into a forest where there were only burned trees. He told me that this was all mine. I thought God had an ought against me. I asked, “God, what can I do with this? Everything is dead.” All the trees were burnt about three inches above the trunk. God told me that although the trees looked dead, the roots were alive. As God and I walked, I began to see the trees sprout green leaves. As I continued to walk, I preached the Word and the forest began to spring forth with life. As I continued, I looked back and every tree in the forest that had been burned was evergreen. The Lord touched my should and said, “This is what I have called you to! A “Ministry of Restoration”. There are many hurting saints that need a place to be restored and put back in the battle to win the lost for mine sake”. And He said, “You shall call this church The Upper Room (where it all began) Apostolic Church, A Ministry of Restoration”. Included in the vision is a day care for this community, which has been named “The Eagle’s Nest”. We will also provide housing for unwed mothers. This housing will also include training to help the mothers provide for themselves and their children. This is a Ministry not a church. This great work is going to take the effort of all that have been called to this ministry. We need everyone working together like the body of Christ was meant to operate. The bible states that God has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. I believe that God has equipped and positions us for such a time as this. I know that this ministry is not for everyone but if God has put this small beginning in your spirit, let’s come together and do a work for the Lord.
