“Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11 I was in prayer one Saturday morning, and the Lord placed on my heart “No Sister Left Behind”. He told me to no longer focus on my health journey but to help my sisters at URAC experience the joy in which has been restored to me since I began my wellness journey. That’s what Philippians 2:4 states, “Not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others”. He said that I know that mental struggle of what being bound by the chains of food; but also that He had equipped me with His Word throughout my journey and to “pass it on”. We are charged by the scriptures to “bear each other’s burdens” (Galatians 6:2) and to “be kind and tenderhearted with each other” (Ephesians 4:32). So, “am I my brother’s

(sisters) keeper”- (Geneses 4:9)? Yes!! We all are! For so long I was driven by the pain and the hurt of others that I was so “guarded” that I would only help my sisters out to a “certain” point. Thankfully, my heart has been changed to go the “extra mile” with my sisters; that requires looking past the past. We have a charge to go after those who need help, those whom others have given up on them and those who struggle and think that all hope has been lost. So, we kicked off #nosisterleftbehind on June 12 with a clean eating session and a food preparation and tasting session. We shared our physical and mental struggles with weight and fitness and we committed to new beginnings. We also partnered up in groups of 2-3 to hold each other accountable and to have partners. The scriptures tell us that two are better than one and

that there is a labor for their sweet reward (see Ecclesiastes 4:9-12) and we also know that iron sharpens iron and one man sharpens another (see Proverbs 27:17). And, on June 18, we met at a local park in central Arkansas to kick off our fit lifestyle with a walk. Since the beginning, testimonies have been coming forth of how God has been moving within each others’ lives. #amen Although God is using a natural way to bring us together, I believe what we will reap a harves in the spirit realm as well. I believe that God will bring our sister unit at the URAC closer than ever through this time and that chains will be broken, not only within our health, but also in our spiritual lives. 3 John 1:2 - “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” I believe that barriers will be torn down, never to return, and that a time of refreshing will come from the Lord. #nosisterleftbehind Many prayers and much love...Katrina Way

Be You Who are you? I’m not asking what your name is, what family you belong to, or who your circle of friends are but who are you as an individual. What is your favorite color? What is your favorite restaurant? What is your favorite kind of movie? What is your favorite thing to do? What is your style of clothing? How many of your answers to the questions above are YOUR opinion or do you answer based off of what other people like? Do you wear clothes because others say you look good in them or because you really like them? Do you watch scary movies with friends even though you know you hate them but you just want to fit in with the crowd and not be an oddball? I’ll be honest: I am 26 years old and I am just now finding out what I like apart from the opinions of others. I spent all of my childhood, teenage and even some of my adult years trying to get people to like me. I wore certain clothes because other people liked them. I listened to certain types of music because the people around me did. I watched certain movies because my friends did. I did certain things because I wanted to please people. It wasn’t until recently that I realized that I was basing who I was off of the opinions and expectations of others. Apart from people I had no identity because I had lived my life acting or dressing certain ways or doing certain things that were pleasing to a boyfriend, my friends or even family members. I didn’t know who I was or what I liked. I felt empty. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. (Psalm 139:14, NIV) That’s when God started showing me who I was and it wasn’t who people said I was. This doesn’t mean that the people in your life are bad but the desire to please people is wrong and can cause you live outside of God’s will for your life. You can’t please people and God at the same time. Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ. (Galatians 1:10, NIV) I challenge you to allow God to show you who you really are, the person He created you to be. Find out what you really like not what you’ve pretended to like because you wanted to fit in. And I pray that God gives you the courage to be that person regardless of what others think. God created only one YOU and you are “fearfully and wonderfully made”. BE YOU because no one else can be you. If you won’t do it then who will?

Apostle Milton & Evangelist Janice Harper

The vision began in January of 1995 after the death of my brother and my mother. I was at an all time low. God showed me a vision in which He took me into a forest where there were only burned trees. He told me that this was all mine. I thought God had an ought against me. I asked, “God, what can I do with this? Everything is dead.” All the trees were burnt about three inches above the trunk. God told me that although the trees looked dead, the roots were alive. As God and I walked, I began to see the trees sprout green leaves. As I continued to walk, I preached the Word and the forest began to spring forth with life. As I continued, I looked back and every tree in the forest that had been burned was evergreen. The Lord touched my should and said, “This is what I have called you to! A “Ministry of Restoration”. There are many hurting saints that need a place to be restored and put back in the battle to win the lost for mine sake”. And He said, “You shall call this church The Upper Room (where it all began) Apostolic Church, A Ministry of Restoration”. Included in the vision is a day care for this community, which has been named “The Eagle’s Nest”. We will also provide housing for unwed mothers. This housing will also include training to help the mothers provide for themselves and their children. This is a Ministry not a church. This great work is going to take the effort of all that have been called to this ministry. We need everyone working together like the body of Christ was meant to operate. The bible states that God has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. I believe that God has equipped and positions us for such a time as this. I know that this ministry is not for everyone but if God has put this small beginning in your spirit, let’s come together and do a work for the Lord.
