Ten Year Anniversary Celebration: A BIG THANKS! Thank you to everyone who made our 10 year anniversary such a special occasion. *Thanks to my instructor team who each took on teaching an anniversary class this year which required them to learn up to 16 new songs and teach them all in one class. November Attendance Game Our winter attendance game kicks off on Tuesday, November 1st at 5:45 a.m. Attend 20 classes between November 1st and December 24th and win a fabulous sparkling coin purse. (While supplies last. Supplies are limited.) One class per day counts towards the attendance game. Simply put your name on an attendance tracking sheet on the wall and mark off a square for each class you attend. When you attend 20 classes, the coin purse is yours.

Christmas Party December 8th Don't miss our annual Christmas party on Thursday, December 8th at 7:00 p.m. There will be no 7:15 p.m. class on party night and the 6:00 will be an Express so that we have time to set up. The party will be held at the center with dinner catered in by Moe's. Cost of dinner is $12.00 and must be pre-paid by December 1st. After dinner we will play the "Dirty Santa" gift exchange game. Please bring a gift (not a white elephant) worth no more than $10.00 to exchange. Everyone will go home with a gift! Our Christmas party is one of the most fun times of the year and a great way to get to know your fellow Jazzers better. Hope you will join us!
Class Sizes Remember you vote for your favorite class times with your attendance. In the winter months, especially November and December, we often see the Sunday Body Sculpting and 7:15 p.m. classes shrink in size. If we don't have enough consistent attendance in these class they are not cost effective to continue. I hate to cancel any classes,

CONGRATULATIONS TO: • Crystal Kunglal who celebrated her 5 year teaching anniversary on October 20th. Thanks for five years of great classes, awesome motivation and wonderful friendship. • Jenny Brown who welcomed Maxwell Nathan Brown on October 13th. Max was 8.0 lbs and 21 inches long. Jenny even made it to the anniversary party 3 days after delivering. Now that is a dedicated Jazzermom!
FAREWELL TO: Long time Jazzerciser and Class Manager Allison Vandenbergh is moving to Georgia on November 12th. Both she and her husband got new jobs and are moving back "home" closer to family. She will be very missed. Thanks Allison for being such a special part of our jazzerfamily!

Winter Weather Cancellation Policy If Jessamine County schools are closed, there will be NO weekday morning Jazzercise classes. If Jessamine County schools are on a one or two hour delay, we will have one morning class at 10:30 a.m. The 5:45 a.m. or 8:15 a.m. will be canceled. I will always try to hold evening classes unless the weather is very bad at that time of night. If I do cancel class or the class is delayed, I will send out an email, post it on Facebook and try to get the closing/delay listed on the local TV stations or their websites. If you are ever in doubt, please do not hesitate to call me before venturing out. I would hate for you to drive to class only to find it canceled or delayed. Childcare Room Sick Policy Please do not bring your child to the childcare room if he/she was too ill to attend school that day, has run a fever within the past 24 hours, has been prescribed an antibiotic less than 24 hours prior, has thrown up within the past 24 hours or has severe cold symptoms such as a continuous runny nose or cough. The childcare room is small, and we want to keep it as germ free as possible. Please be considerate of the other families and the babysitter when determining if your child is well enough to be in the childcare room. Thank you!

When I was a young turkey, new to the coop, My big brother Mike took me out on the stoop, Then he sat me down, and he spoke real slow, And he told me there was something that I had to know; His look and his tone I will always remember, When he told me of the horrors of ..... Black November; "Come about August, now listen to me, Each day you'll be thick, where once you were thin, And you'll grow a big rubbery thing under your chin. "And then one morning, when you're warm in your bed, In'll burst the farmer's wife, and hack off your head; "Then she'll pluck out all your feathers so you're bald'n pink, And scoop out all your insides and leave ya lyin' in the sink, "And then comes the worst part" he said not bluffing, "She'll spread your cheeks and pack your rear with stuffing". Well, the rest of his words were too grim to repeat, I sat on the stoop like a winged piece of meat, And decided on the spot that to avoid being cooked, I'd have to lay low and remain overlooked; I began a new diet of nuts and granola, High-roughage salads, juice and diet cola, And as they ate pastries, chocolates and crepes, I stayed in my room doing Jane Fonda tapes, I maintained my weight of two pounds and a half, And tried not to notice when the bigger birds laughed; But 'twas I who was laughing, under my breath, As they chomped and they chewed, ever closer to death; And sure enough when Black November rolled around, I was the last turkey left in the entire compound; So now I'm a pet in the farmer's wife's lap; I haven't a worry, so I eat and I nap, She held me today, while sewing and humming, And smiled at me and said "Christmas is coming.......
