Relay for Life Last year we were asked to do two demos at the Jessamine County Relay for life and despite the storms, it was great fun. This year we decided to form a Jazzercise Relay for Life team to more fully support this great cause in our community. We have almost 20 Jazzers signed up and there is still time to join our team and register for the relay on line by going to: www.relayforlife.org/jessamine. Click on Sign Up and then select Join A Team. Our team name is Jazzercise Nicholasville. It is only $10 to register. After that it is up to you if you want to raise additional funds. They give you all the tools to do it. If you cannot participate but want to donate to our team, you can place donations in the purple bucket on the credenza. CLASS TIMES 5:45 am: Tuesday & Thursday 8:15 am: Monday, Wednesday & Saturday 9:30 am: Monday thru Saturday 4:30 pm: Sunday thru Thursday 5:45 pm: Friday & Sunday 6 pm: Monday thru Thursday 7:15 pm: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday Childcare at all 9:30 am, 4:30 pm & 6 pm weekday classs! Congratulations: to Peggy Durbin who is our first 2012 Club Jazzercise member with 150 classes already this year! Club membership is based on attending three classes a week for a year. It's a very achievable goal and there is still plenty of time to earn the cute white cover up!
Burlesque Benefit Class: June 3, 4:30-6 pm Are you ready to get your butt up and show us how you burlesque? You will have your chance at our special Relay for Life Burlesque Benefit Class to raise money for our team on Sunday, June 3rd at 4:30 p.m. Come wearing your lace, boas, fish nets and bold colors to this extra long class. A team of instructors will lead you in the best of our sexy sultry routines. It will cost $10 to attend this class and 100% of the money raised will go to our Relay for Life team fund raising efforts. It's a don't miss event!

This has become an annual tradition at Jazzercise Nicholasville on Mother's Day weekend, and it is a special time to share Jazzercise with your mom or your daughter of any age. Moms and daughters of current Jazzercise customers are invited to attend class for free on Saturday, May 12th. The
Jazzercise/Team Dance Summer Camp Monday, June 11th -Thursday, June 14th 1:00 -4:00 p.m. Friday, June 13th Performance 10:30-11:00 a.m. Boys & Girls ages 4 years to 11 years. $85 *Save $5 if you register on or before the Mother/Daughter classes on May 12th. *$10 Sibling Discount. Dancing, Games, Crafts, Snacks, Obstacle Courses, Jump Rope and FUN! Space is limited to 20 campers and we always fill up so don't delay. Can't wait to dance with your kids this summer! 8:15 a.m. class will be a regular class, and the 9:30 a.m. class will be a combination of regular and Jr. Jazzercise routines perfect for our younger girls. (And fun for the older girls too!) If your kids are thinking about Jr. Jazzercise Camp this summer, this would be a great time for them to preview some of the things we will do at camp. If you register your kids for camp at this class (or before) you save $5 on your registration fee. Plan now to bring your mom or daughter with you to class on the 12th. *We will NOT have class on Mother's Day, Sunday May 13th. Enjoy the day with your family.
Lose It! Our 12 week challenge ended with April. Congratulations to all our weekly winners! Lose It participants need to get signed up for your final assessment with Heidi before May 11th. Heidi has listed a number of times before and after classes that she is available to meet with you. If none of these times work in your schedule, just email her at enjoyinghomehk@yahoo.com or call her at 536-9214 to find a time that will work for both of you. Even if you have not weighed in weekly, you still want to get your final assessment so you can see what progress you have made and you could still win a great prize. Our overall winners will be announced and posted on the bulletin board as soon as all the results are in, and the grand prizes will be awarded at our celebration dinner on Thursday, May 31st at 7:00 p.m. at Fiesta Mexico. Summer Attendance Gme Exercise your right to bare arms with our summer attendance game! Pick a partner and attend 60 classes combined between June 1 and July 31st to each earn a hot summer tank. While supplies last and supplies are limited. Attendance tracking sheets will be located in a 3 ring binder on the credenza instead of posted on the wall. Grab a sheet and alphabetize it by your team's name to find it quickly. Every time you attend class, initial a square. Once all 60 squares are filled, you and your partner get the tank. There will be chances for extra points all summer long so plan to play!

Thank You from Jenny My Dearest Jazzer Ladies, It is with so many emotions that we prepare to move to North Africa. Stevie and I have always been interested in overseas missions and feel that now is the time God is transitioning our family into this new season of life. We are excited for this adventure, but also sad to leave our friends and family. That being said, for the past four years Nicholasville Jazzercise has been both friends AND family for me. I am inspired by each one of you, whether you are a mom of small kids, a single lady who has lived life for sometime, a college student, etc.... you show up and work hard for not just your physical health, but mental health as well. Continue to do things for yourselves that give you the energy you need to pour into other people!
