Annual Jazzy Christmas Party! Join us for the best party of the year on Thursday, December 13th at 7:00 p.m. The 6:00 class will be an Express class and then we will set up for our dinner. There will be no 7:15 p.m. class on the 13th. We will have a fajita dinner catered by Chuy's Mexican Restaurant. The cost will be $12.00 per person and includes a full fajita bar with chips, queso and Chuy's famous jalepeno ranch dip. Dessert, ice tea and lemonade also included. BYO adult beverages if you like. Please reserve your spot and pre-pay for dinner by Tuesday, December 11th. You will also need to bring a wrapped gift (a real gift, not a gag gift) worth $10-$15 for our gift exchange game. Every one who brings a gift will go home with a gift..eventually. :o) I hope we will have the biggest turn out yet for our Christmas party. It is so much fun and a great way to celebrate the year. *Checks are preferred for dinner payment. They make it much easier to track. Thanks!

12 Classes of Christmas It is a tradition at Jazzercise Nicholasville to count down the 12 classes before Christmas by giving away one gift from under our Christmas tree at each class. Class 12 will be the 6:00 p.m. class on Wednesday, December 19th and the last class will be our Christmas Eve class at 9:30 a.m. on the 24th. A name is drawn from the attendance sheet at each class, so you must attend to have a chance to win a great gift. Come enjoy the holiday spirit at Jazzercise Nicholasville!
Our Christmas Tree If you don't know the story of our center Christmas tree, it was a gift from the instructor team to me the 1st Christmas we were in the center. (2007) All the ornaments on the tree have been given by customers or instructors over the years and are labeled with the giver's name and year. I love getting the ornaments out every year and remembering each one. If you see an ornament that reminds you of Jazzercise or one of our instructors, we'd love to hang it on our tree! Take a minute and look at them all. Every one has a personality and a story!
Help a JELV Family this Holiday Jazzercise Nicholasville was asked to sponsor a family from the Jessamine Early Learning Village who needs help buying Christmas gifts this holiday season. We are sponsoring a family of two children and would like to collect $50 for each child so that gifts from their wish list can be purchased for them. There is a collection can at the desk. Feel free to donate as much as you would like. If you usually purchase water, but your December water money in the holiday collection can instead of in the water fund. All donations must be received by December 10th. Thanks in advance for your generosity in helping kids in our community have a very merry Christmas!
Center Makeover I believe we will make our Platinum Level goal for 2012 thanks to all of you! I will get a rebate back from Jazzercise, Inc. which I plan to use to update the center. It's been six years since we moved in and a facelift is in order. You have already seen the new window shades. We will also be painting the entire center, updating the art work and getting new equipment. In order to get it all done, we will have to close for a few days. We will be closed Sunday, December 30th -January 1st. We will have a grand re-opening of the newly made over center on Wednesday, January 2 at 8:15 a.m.

Equipment Sale: Saturday, December 29, 10:30 a.m. CLUB JAZZERCISE • Welcome to our newest members: Susan Clements, Kim Burdine, Nina Young, Ute Keathley, Kim Brockman & Diane Ogden. You've got one month to make that 150 class goal. Don't give up, but please note that we will be closed several days towards the end of the year so plan accordingly! **We will take our annual Club Jazzercise picture on Sunday, January 6th at 4:15 p.m. Wear your white burn out tee and black bottoms. Hope all of you will be there for the picture. Making it in the club is a great accomplishment!
As part of our remodel, we will be getting new exercise mats which hang on the wall. I will be selling the used Jazzercise mats on a first come first serve basis. $5 per mat. If you would like your own mat, stop by that Saturday, or email me prior, and pick one up. If you have your own mat, you may want to rent a locker to store it in so you don't have to haul it to or from class along with your shoes, water bottle weights etc...see below.
Locker payments due 1st week in January/Lockers available for rent The lockers in the center and in the break room are available to rent for $5/per month. Lockers must be pre-paid either for the full year or for six months. If you pre-pay the entire year, you get one month free. ($55/year.) Or you can pay for six months at a time. ($30/6 months.) You may share a locker with another student. If you currently have a locker and would like to keep it for the next year, payment is due the 1st week of January. Please pay by January 10th in order to keep your locker. If you currently have a locker and do not wish to keep it, please have all of your belongings removed by December 29th, so I know what lockers are available for rent. If you would like a locker, or would like to share one, please let the desk know. If there are locker spots available, we will rent them on a first come first serve basis. Thanks!

If Jessamine County schools are closed, there will be NO weekday morning Jazzercise classes. If Jessamine County schools are on a one or two hour delay, we will have one morning class at 10:30 a.m. The 5:45 a.m. or 8:15 a.m. will be canceled. I will always try to hold evening classes unless the weather is very bad at that time of night. If I do cancel class or the class is delayed, I will send out an email, post it on Facebook and try to get the closing/delay listed on the local TV stations or their websites. If you are ever in doubt, please do not hesitate to call me before venturing out. I would hate for you to drive to class only to find it canceled or delayed.
