Dear friends, I cannot begin to explain how I'm feeling while writing this letter. I am very excited to be beginning a new chapter of my life; but my heart aches at the closing of this one. Darren and I have decided to begin our life together in Nashville, so Amber and I will be moving south at the beginning of July. Though I couldn't be happier, it is extremely hard to say goodbye. Jazzercise has been so many things to me in the past nine years. It has been a source for physical and emotional health, a place to socialize, and a place to 'belong'. I began as a student the summer before I got married. Since that time, I have danced through a wedding (I dropped a dress size before the big day). I have danced through a pregnancy (I got my 300 club t-shirt the day Amber was born). I have danced through a divorce (Sick and Tired became my theme song). I ultimately danced fifty pounds away and then danced my way up onto the stage! And I intend to keep on dancing….….but it won’t be the same without you! I could never give enough thanks to all of you amazing women! You have no idea how beautiful each and every one of you are! You have become much more than friends to me, but are family. People I have laughed and cried with, worked and played with, people who have seen me in head to toe spandex and love me anyway! It is a rare thing to have what we have here – and I’ve never for a second taken that for granted. Thank you for your support, guidance and kindness. I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back to visit classes when I am in town! I hope that you guys won’t forget me and will keep me updated on what’s happening in your lives…thank heavens for Facebook. Remember to wear your GOOD bra! Watch out Nashville! You have some awfully big shoes to fill! I love you all so much! --Erica

Childcare Room Redone! We are planning to repaint and recarpet the childcare room on June 18th -June 20th. We would love to have some new toys, books, games, coloring books, crayons, and VHS movies for the kids. If you have any gently used items that would be appropriate for ages ranging from infant to upper elementary, please bring them to the center. Thank you so much!

Summer Skin Protection Tips The American Cancer Society's easy, fun and safe habits: Slip, Slop, Slap and Wrap • Slip on a shirt • Slop on sunscreen

• Slap on a hat • Wrap on a pair of sunglasses Recommendations: 1. Wear protective clothing when out in the sun 2. Wear a sunscreen with an SPF or 15 or higher 3. Wear a hat that shades your face, neck and ears. (The most common sites of skin cancer.) 4. Plan outdoor activities to avoid the midday sun Sun Facts: • Research shows a link between sunburns in children/teens and an increased risk of melanoma skin cancer later in life. • Ultraviolet (UV) rays reflect off water, sand and snow. UV rays also reach below water's surface • The sun is usually strongest between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. • When outside, if your shadow is shorter than you are, the sun is high in the sky and the UK rays are intense.

A Little Laugh! I finally figured out why I am so full-figured! As I was conditioning my hair in the shower this morning, I took time to read my shampoo bottle. I am in shock! The shampoo I use in the shower that runs down my entire body says "for extra volume and body"! Seriously, why have I not noticed this before? Tomorrow I am going to start using "Dawn" dish soap! It says right on the bottle, "dissolves fat that is otherwise difficult to remove". It pays to read the warning labels my friends!
