BorninKansasCity,Missouri,Peter alwayshadtheRockyMountainsinhis sights.“Weusedtotakefamilyskitrips toColoradowhenIwasgrowingup,”he recalls.“Evenbackthen,IknewIwould liveheresomeday.”That“someday” camein2009whenhewasacceptedto theUniversityofColoradoLawSchool.

Bythetimehepassedthebar,Peter hadclearedeveryhurdletoward atraditionallegalcareer,buthe decidedtoswitchgears—entering theworldofpropertymanagement, wherehespentfourandahalf yearssharpeninghisskillsand buildinglong-termrelationships withclients.That’swherethespark forrealestatesalesfirstignited.“I wantedtocontinuerepresenting mypropertymanagementclients–preparingandlistingtheirinvestment propertyforsaleorhelpingexpand theirportfoliobyguidingthem throughanewpurchase.”

In2016,Peterearnedhisrealestate licenseandtransitionedfrommanaging propertiestosellingthem.Withinayear, hedoveinheadfirst,leavingproperty managementbehindtofocussolelyon realestatesales.

Nowcelebratinghistenthyearinthe industry,Peterblendsalegalbackground, propertymanagementexperience, andgenuinehumanconnectionintoa standoutapproachthatsetshimapart.

Hislawdegreeprovidesaninside advantage.Fromcontractissuestotitle mattersandeasements-havingthatlegal backgroundandastrongnetworkof attorneyfriendsisarealasset.

Giving Back, Staying Connected

Beyondtheclosingtable,Peteris equallycommittedtogivingback. Eachyear,heisaproudsponsorofthe ColoradoLawClassic,acharitygolf tournamentbenefitingtheSarahL. RectorMemorialScholarshipFund andotherscholarshipfundsatthe UniversityofColoradoLawSchool.The tournament,nowinits14thyear,was startedbyhisgoodfriendsandlaw schoolclassmates,AndrewGarnett andMattHenderson.“TheColorado LawClassicisagreattradition–it’san opportunitytogivebackandachance toreconnectwithfriendsand colleagueseveryyear,”hesays.

FUN FACT IN HIGH SCHOOL, PETER POLE VAULTED FOR A YEAR AFTER HIS TRACK COACH SAW HIM WALKING ON HIS HANDS THROUGH THE SCHOOL HALLWAY.

Peter’sownpathonceincluded entrepreneurialventuresofanother kind.Beforelawschoolandreal estate,hisfavoritejobwasworking inhardscaping—buildingpaver walkways,patios,anddriveways.

“Itwasfunbeingpartofateamand transformingoutdoorspaces,”hesays. “Workingoutside,listeningtoclassic rock…notabadwaytospendaday.”

Life Outside the Office

Peterknowshowtobalanceworkand play.Alongtimeskier,he’squicktohit theslopes—especiallywithhisLiveWest Realtyteammates.“We’vehadsome incredibleskidaystogether,”heshares. “I’mluckytobeapartofsuchagreat group.”AproudalumoftheUniversity ofSouthernCalifornia,he’salsoa devotedcollegefootballfanandrarely missesaTrojansgame.Fighton!

through the school hallway. “My enthusiasm probably exceeded my abilities, but I loved the track team and even won a few meets!”
