meet KEITH ROBINSON

KEITH ROBINSON
A Realtor with a Passion for Service and a Heart for Adventure
Keith Robinson’s path to real estate is nothing short of remarkable -- filled with adventure, self-discovery, and a deep desire to be of service to others.

Raised in a small town in Indiana, Keith earned his degree in organizational leadership from Purdue. With a thirst for adventure and a desire to expand his horizons, he planned to travel to Bogota with a friend to teach English. Their timing, however, coincided with the disappearance of several Americans there and they chose not to go. Yet soon after, another door for exotic adventure opened. A close friend called who had recently completed a job in Guam. “He thought I’d be a perfect fit.”
This phone call served as the catalyst that prompted Keith to embark on a series of fascinating experiences -- living and working abroad in such locales as Guam, Saipan, and Australia. His unconventional roles ranged from teaching computer classes on a cruise ship in the Caribbean to managing sports activities at a resort in Thailand. While in Thailand, he explored the region’s culture through backpacking, acquiring unique and invaluable experiences that can only be obtained through this adventurous approach. His travels had such an impact on his life he often says, “I got my degree from Purdue and my education from travel.”
While his travels provided countless stories and unforgettable memories, Keith’s heart led him back to Indiana when his grandmother fell ill. Little did he know that a twist of fate would soon lead him on a new path. Within a month of starting a job as a server at Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Grill, he quickly rose to become the corporate training manager—a testament to his drive and adaptability. However, life had more surprises in store. After his grandmother passed away, he felt the urge to explore new horizons. He accepted a position as a sports instructor at a sister resort in Saipan, and later found himself in Australia, where he worked as a project manager for a construction company in Sydney.
Eventually, the call of Boulder County beckoned to him, and in 1999, Keith made a trip there to visit friends. Once there, he made the life-changing deci-sion to move to this vibrant community. It was love at first sight as he discovered the energetic atmosphere of Boulder, with its residents engaging in outdoor activities like running, biking, and walking their dogs. Keith knew he had found his place—a place where he could thrive. However, still unsure of what his path should be, he enrolled in graduate school. He went on to work for a consulting firm where he was assigned to work on the Hewlett-Packard account. The consulting firm closed its Denver office, but Keith saw the opportunity to “hang his own shingle” and continued to work with Hewlett Packard. Unfortunately, the dot. com crash occurred, and that ended.
PROOF
After more soul-searching while backpacking through Australia and New Zealand, the idea of real estate kept resurfacing in his mind, persistently drawing his attention. “I had already bought and sold a couple of places and fixed them up myself. I knew that real estate was something I was very passionate about. When I came back from that trip in 2002, I sat down with my real estate agent and friend, Rob Justice, and told him what I was thinking. I already knew Rob as a man of integrity and someone who values providing highquality service, two traits that we both shared. After our conversation, I knew this was something I could bring to the real estate industry, and it sealed the deal for me to become an agent.”
Even though Keith’s path to real estate was not a linear one, he gained valuable experience in the fields of
consulting, customer service, construction, and project management, all proving invaluable in his new profession. Drawing from his consulting background, he has developed a step-by-step system for both buyers and sellers, ensuring a smooth and transparent experience for his clients. Clients appreciate his systematic approach, knowing that each step of their real estate journey is thoughtfully considered.
In real estate, Keith is also able to combine his professional expertise with his passion for helping others. Having experienced a challenging childhood, he understands the importance of supporting and guiding young individuals. His volunteer work focuses on initiatives that positively impact children’s lives. For a decade, Keith dedicated his efforts to a grassroots local nonprofit, raising funds to construct schools in Nepal. He planned to travel there to attend the grand opening of one of the schools in 2015 until disaster struck and devastating earthquakes hit the region. He and his friends changed course, assembling a team of volunteers and traveling to the decimated village, only 50 miles from the epicenter. They assisted the villagers in obtaining food and basic needs with $60,000 they raised in just 30 days! This profound experience left an indelible mark on Keith.
Keith continues his charitable work today, organizing a charitable golf tournament supporting Boulder Voices for Children. “We organize a golf tournament for various men’s clubs in Northern Colorado and play a 2-day championship tournament. It’s a lot of fun while raising money for a great cause. This is our third year doing it.”
Beyond his altruistic endeavors, Keith finds joy in an active lifestyle. With most of his relatives still in Indiana, Keith regards his friends in Boulder as his chosen family. He enjoys golfing, mountain biking, hiking, camping, and snowboarding as well as supporting the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Rockies, Avalanche, and the Broncos.
PROOF
Furthermore, Keith’s deep-rooted interest in spirituality has been a driving force throughout his life. He has been meditating since the age of 17 and has studied with various teachers around the world, attending retreats to further explore the essence of life and personal growth. This profound connection to his spiritual side has brought him inner peace and allowed him to cultivate a sense of calm and compassion that he brings to his real estate career.

Keith faced a significant setback during the Marshall Fire in December 2021. With his home substantially burned, Keith’s perspective shifted, leading him to cherish the simple joys in life and be even more grateful for the blessings that surround him. His gratitude deepened and reminded him of the everyday things we should all appreciate. His personal growth and resilience shine through as he continues to serve his clients with unwavering dedication and gratefulness.
For Keith, being a Realtor is more than a career—it is a way to make a positive impact on people’s lives. His commitment to service, coupled with his extensive life experiences, makes him a unique soul and positions him as an outstanding real estate expert.
