COURTNEY WENTWORTH

“I hold ‘community’ close to my heart.”

REALTOR®️ Courtney Wentworth is a mountain lifestyle-loving, native Coloradan, who holds strong personal beliefs about the value of community. She comments, “A lot of new homeowners come from other parts of our world that might not have that strength of community that we hold here. I hold ‘community’ very close to my heart, especially with raising a family here. It’s underestimated how powerful the community is in Boulder County and in Boulder.”

In 1997, Durango, Colorado-based Fort Lewis College awarded Courtney a marketing degree from their business school. After traveling and searching for ‘what’s next’ Courtney discovered her path to owning her own organic lifestyle market and art gallery named The Artsy Artichoke. During this time, she learned firsthand the challenges and rewards that come from working in a small business environment. “The community support was incredible!”

Following that adventure, for the next twenty years, Courtney worked as a business market-ing strategist around the mountain state. She attests, “I came to real estate later in my career, through business development and sales, for both small and large businesses. I loved working with midsize companies, all along the Front Range – from health care to startups. It was exciting and super cool to strategize, market, and sell for these growing businesses, especially here in Boulder.”

Courtney’s many accomplishments in building Colorado businesses have contributed to what she feels sets her apart as a Realtor®. “Because I’ve been able to learn and grow professionally for all of these years, and really be part of the building of business, I came into real estate

with a balanced mindset to be able to pull it all together in a way that best services my clients.”

Courtney’s appreciation for a strong community also comes from experience with her own family. About her husband Bret, also a native Coloradan, Courtney says proudly, “I’m married to a fire-fighter. He’s been a firefighter for twenty-plus years now. His job has given me an amazing view into how important community is – how important our first responders are, and also just how important it is to have a team within your family.” Bret, once a firefighting paramedic, is now Battalion Chief on the Front Range.

In Courtney’s book, high marks also go to the Boulder Valley School District for the many growth opportunities the school system offers to students, including her two sons. The boys are passionate outdoor enthusiasts and love fly fishing, skiing, rafting, and snowboarding. “They love making friends, and they’re just really grounded kids. They have seen how important it is to have a good community around our family. Growing up in Boulder, the boys and their friends can take the bus up to the mountain and spend a day together. Incredible! RTD is free for riders under the age of nineteen so it’s easy and safe.”

BEING ABLE TO HELP OTHERS LEARN ABOUT TRUSTED SENIOR RESOURCES IS FULFILLING. I REALLY TAKE PRIDE IN BEING ABLE TO BE THAT LIAISON WHO SHARES THE TRUSTED VENDORS AND RESOURCES HERE.

Away from work, Courtney loves taking extended adventure trips with her entire family all around Colorado, especially to the Upper Colorado River where they enjoy rafting, camping, and star-watching. The family frequently takes weekend getaways to Eldora Ski Mountain where they love snowboarding – and “getting into the powder of the trees.”

Courtney’s view of Boulder is a progressive community serving a growing multigenerational population. Through connections she made while working with senior care-focused businesses during her first career, Courtney is knowledgeable about the many trusted resources the region holds for helping seniors. She became so inspired in helping seniors that she obtained her Senior Real Estate Specialist designation. “I am especially attuned to the amenities available for our seniors that allow them to live an independent lifestyle. We’ve got incredible nonprofit resources – from meals being delivered to homes, to many modes of transportation. Being able to help others learn about trusted senior resources is fulfilling. I really take pride in being able to be that liaison who shares the trusted vendors and resources here.”

All in all, Courtney’s heart is in Colorado, a spirit and a life that she’s made for herself and her family. She loves sharing the culture of mountain living and wants to be known as an authentic Colorado woman. Her empathy runs deep and she digs in hard to help each one of her clients find every resource they need. “You have to really explore lots of different options and know the amenities available.” She smiles and says knowingly, “There’s always a solution.”

Courtney’s passion aligns with milehimodern’s goal to foster deep connections with both clients and colleagues. The support Courtney receives from milehimodern’s leadership and fellow agents consistently inspires her to share valuable insights about what makes Boulder an exceptional place to live.
