Hopkinton’s Assets and Initiatives » The Hopkinton Growth Study Committee examines growth trends and development, recommending actions to ensure Hopkinton can maintain its high standards in education, public safety, health, and protection of natural resources. » The Covid Fighters Blog. Fifteen-year-old Hopkinton resident Meher Kaur created The Covid Fighters Blog to provide factual information to her community. » Dell EMC Headquarters. Hopkinton is home to the headquarters of computer storage corporation Dell EMC, which is the town’s largest employer. » Outdoor Green Spaces. Hopkinton boasts two state parks: Hopkinton State Park and Whitehall State Park. Both are popular places to visit during the summer months.

Hopkinton’s Challenges » Unemployment Caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic. Unemployment in Hopkinton rose to over 12% by Mary, 2020. » Transportation and Infrastructure. Alan’s Plan for Hopkinton was built by listening to the people of Hopkinton. In Congress, Alan will: Address the spike in unemployment through a Federal Jobs Guarantee including expanding AmeriCorps and providing Emergency Wage Support to save small businesses and keep people on the payroll. Alan will press for an infrastructure bill to renovate the 495 - Mass Pike interchange and repair crumbling infrastructure. Help restore education funding by passing the Heroes Act in Congress to secure $6,012,930 in funding for Hopkinton. Create a Hopkinton Congressional Advisory Board to stay connected to local issues in Hopkinton and ensure stakeholder voices are heard in Washington.
