Step 1.
Mix the color or blonde formula following the instructions for that specific product. Add 1ml/g Bond Fusion Phase 1 Bond Builder per 20g color (or blonde formula*), including developer.
Step 2.
Apply the formula and process according to instructions. No need to change developer strength or processing time.
Step 3.
Rinse thoroughly and cleanse with Keune After Color Shampoo. Rinse well and towel dry.
Step 4.
If a toner is used, apply this and process. Rinse and towel dry hair.
Step 5.
Apply Bond Fusion Phase 2 Bond Enhancer to the lengths and ends. The amount used depends on the hair lengths. Leave in for minimum 5 minutes, then rinse well.
Step 6.
To keep hair conditioned, apply Bond Fusion Phase 3 Bond Recharger after every 5 washes (at home).
Option 2 — Stand-alone Treatment
Bond Fusion can also be used as a stand-alone, anti-damage treatment. Use this treatment for damaged hair that needs extra care.
Step 1.
Mix 1 part Bond Fusion Phase 1 Bond Builder + 2 parts Bond Fusion Phase 2 Bond Enhancer.

Consultation and strand test
When decolorizing or working with products containing persulfates, it’s important to start with a thorough consultation.
Understand your client’s hair and service history — color, chemical and maintenance regimes will contribute to your final formula, approach, and outcome.
Damaged and sensitized hair needs special care. Further lightening and coloring on these hair conditions may cause breakage and uneven, undesirable color results.
We recommend a strand test before every color service — especially when lightening.
→ The higher the developer strength used, the less control you have and the greater the risk of damage
→ When it comes to developer choice, work low and slow. Final diagnosis of developer strength is pending hair level, condition and history
→ We recommend a maximum developer on scalp of 6%
→ For more controlled lifting we recommend a maximum developer strength off scalp of 9% pending hair level, texture, condition and history
→ Avoid using a whisk when mixing. Instead use a brush to fold the powder and developer together

This treatment is ideal for the removal of undesired color character/ tonality before a color service. The tonal cleanse treatment gently removes the color pigments. Ideal for a quick service at the basin before proceeding with further color work.
Level Cleanse
This treatment is used to mildly lift the hair up to 2 levels to remove undesired buildup of color. The level cleanse treatment gently removes the color pigments. Ideal for a quick service at the basin before proceeding with further color work.
Total Decolorization
This treatment is used for a full-head lift.
Blonde Debanding
This treatment is used to remove undesired color bands. This service ensures a steady, controlled lift to gently remove banding of color levels and reflects. Product texture allows for more precision placement, ideal for more sensitized and compromised hair types.
Regrowth Decolorization
This treatment is used to lift the regrowth area of a previous decoloring service.
TONAL CLEANSE

Recommendations
Step 1.
Isolate the hair into the sections as shown on the right. Please note: The sections should be wide enough to fit the width of a foam/transparent/aluminum foil. Section neatly for clean, precise results.
Step 2.
Starting at the nape, work in very fine horizontal sections, apply lightener 1-2cm off the root area (heat band).
Step 3.
Continue applying up to the crown, optional stacking each section in foil to ensure an even lift.
Step 4.
Continue up the sides, in horizontal sections, until the top is reached.
Step 5.
Develop visually until you have reached 1-2 levels below the desired shade.
Step 6.
Remove foil, reworking mid-lengths and ends as you go.
Step 7.
Apply to roots gently for maximum client comfort using regrowth application sectioning – and process to target level.

Recommendations
Step 1.
Start by isolating 5 sections. This will keep the application neat and precise. Place product gently on the scalp maximum client comfort.
Step 2.
Start at the nape hairline area, and work in very fine horizontal sections upwards towards the crown.
Step 3.
Continue application through the sides in vertical sections, working from above the ear to the front hairline. This will leave a rectangular section on the top, over the parting.
Step 4.
Working from the crown, take horizontal sections across the top of the head, working forward to finish on the front hairline.
Step 5.
Cross check and process according to the product instructions.
