#3 Life journey

A Muslim Teen in the West”.

In my painting "Life Journey" for the theme of "Muslim teen in the west," I painted a train and a crowd rushing to board the train as quickly as possible, as well as a young Muslim woman travelling in her own path.

The painting demonstrates the analogy between life choices, where the crowd happily rush to ride the express train regardless of knowing its destination only because everyone else is taking it. The train has an extinction sign on it that symbolizes the earth and time running. To the contrary the young lady to the right takes the harder, slower path that might be full of obstacles and challenges; yet she knows that the light brightens her future at the end.

The painting shows optimism and persistence by conveying the message of sticking to the right path of your values and principles no matter how most people decide an easier route.
