A Trapped Spirit

My model "trapped spirit", that I designed while being enrolled at Carlton University's "Imagine Architecture" program, depicts the societal pressures on a women's spirit. I opted to interpret the phrase "trapped spirit" as a young teenage soul constrained in the society's beauty standards. I considered how I can highlight this in a model of a corset which allegedly functioned as a symbol of artificial feminine beauty. Consequently, I produced two models before my final interpretation (#4).
