Pointillism Painting of a Hijabi Woman

In the 18th Century, Georges Seurat developed a new way of painting, what is known as "Pointillism". I used his technique to create something of my own. My painting “Veiled strength” depicts a woman facing down, calm, and sacred.

Her expression reflects the depth of her thoughts and represents silent strength and hidden powers. I used warm colours to highlight the beauty of her skin tone, which contrasted with the cool colours of her scarf. Since the colours are complementary, the orange-brown and blue contrast will add interest and harmony.

Still Life Vanita Painting

My painting "heart bits" has a special meaning to me since its a composition of pieces that remind me of my grandmother, who passed away when I was 11 years old. Every element was either something we did together or a reminiscence of her past. I gathered all of the details, photographed them, and then painted them with oil paint on a canvas.
