In my design technology class at school, I wanted to create something meaningful to me. As a Muslim Canadian-Egyptian, I chose to incorporate my beautiful religion into my design. I began by brainstorming various clock design options that match that theme. I fell in love with my fifth design after sketching it and knew it was the one, I wanted to bring to life.

The calligraphy of the clock reads "la ilaha illallah muhammad Rasulullah" in Arabic which means "There is no God, But Allah, and Muhammad is his (final) Messenger”.

As a Muslim, this is what I live by every day. I'm very content with the outcome of my design and utilizing CAD to create it taught me a lot of new software skills.
