ACRES represents our commitment to providing diverse, engaging programs that enrich lives. Across our expansive 25-acre campus, we offer year-round activities where children and adults alike can learn new skills, discover new interests, and build lasting connections. From sports leagues and art workshops to cultural events and educational experiences, there’s something for everyone.
Committed to Financial Assistance
At the Kenan Center, we believe everyone should have access to enriching programs, regardless of financial circumstances. That’s why we offer no-questions-asked financial assistance—up to $500 annually for ACRES—ensuring that cost is never a barrier to participation. Everyone deserves the opportunity to learn, play, and grow in our community!
Golden ACRES
Our newest ACRES initiative is Golden ACRES, offering free day-time programming to community members 55 years of age and older.
Kenan Center Montessori
Kenan Center Montessori (KCM), founded and led by Jennifer Anzalone since 2011, is dedicated to providing a nurturing, child-centered learning environment. With a focus on hands-on education and individualized growth, KCM fosters curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Designed to create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere, each performance offers a fresh take on live music for guests to enjoy.
Kenan After Dark
June 6, September 9, & November 11, 2025
Kenan After Dark is our premier late-night comedy series, hosted by the dynamic Nicky Spin. Now in its second year, this sellout event has become a campus favorite, drawing packed crowds and delivering top-tier stand-up from the region and beyond. To celebrate our one year anniversary of this series, we invited Michael Ian Black to headline two shows. We can’t wait to continue to grow this series!
Kenan Productions
25-26 Season starts in September of 2025
In its second season, Kenan Productions is excited to continue bringing captivating, high-quality entertainment to the Taylor Theatre stage. With a focus on creativity, talent, and community, this growing program has quickly become a vibrant part of the local arts scene, offering audiences unforgettable experiences. This upcoming season consists of five shows, including one family oriented production for kids of all ages.

House Gallery

Kenan Center’s House Gallery consists of nine unique spaces, all available to be sponsored!
Taylor Theatre Meeting Room & Patio
Community Meeting Space, Bar & Lounge, & Patio
Attached to the Taylor Theatre is a multi-use space (TTMR) that can hold up to 75 people seated. This is the perfect space for meetings, events, gatherings, and is the same space used as the Bar and Lounge for all Taylor Theatre events and shows. Patio is located off the back of the Meeting Room, looking onto the beautiful gardens and herb garden.
House Gardens & Daisy’s Adventure Garden
