Acting (Ages 6-8)

Do you have a child that lives life a little more dramatically? Explore the wonderful world of theatre and acting! Through theatre games and exercises, we will dive into the characters and situations that make for interesting stories No experience is necessary; all you need is a willingness to use your imagination and a willingness to try anything. Acting (Ages 9-12)

If you have a young person who is expressive, has an interest in getting up on stage for their school shows, or is already up on stage, this is the class for you. Whether a beginner or experienced, there is always room for exploration Through theatre games, exercises, monologues, and scene study, students in this class will practice and develop the skills of acting and telling stories.

Introducing the Kenan Center's Learn to Play Basketball program, ran by Lea Sobieraski! Designed for young athletes, this program focuses on teaching the fundamentals of basketball passing, shooting, and dribbling through engaging activities that emphasize fun and teamwork. Kids will build confidence, make friends, and develop a love for the game in a positive, supportive environment Perfect for beginners eager to learn and play

Creative Art (3-5)

Give your little one a fun and supportive outlet for their creativity! Through various hands-on artistic methods, your child will not only encourage creativity, but they’ll also improve their motor skills, social skills, and have fun doing it! Taught by Jess Tomaino.

Art & Time Travel (8+)

Learning art history in a fun class where you travel through time. Each week we explore the decades/centuries of art time periods and movements. We will be creating works emulating cave paintings, medieval mosaics, impressionist paintings, Fauvism, watercolors of nature studies, ink, the groovy and expressive 1960s, and some modern day works inspired by living artists. Taught by the talented Jess Tomaino!

Writing Workshop (12-15)

Join Kenan Center Executive Director Bill Patti to discover the power of your voice and take control of your writing. Through creative exercises and prompts, students will learn to express ideas clearly and confidently. This class helps develop skills for writing stories, essays, or poems with purpose and personality, building confidence to share unique perspectives. *Note: Students may need to prepare work outside class time to share

Does your child have an interest in gaming? At Fortnite Club, your child can meet like minded peers that share the same interest. This is the perfect program to connect, collaborate, and compete with other gamers! Supervised by staff, participants will have full access to Kenan's brand new computer lab equipped with gaming computers for each child to utilize. Any and all skill levels welcome!

Baseball (7-13)

This 8-week program is for anyone who wants to learn or improve their baseball skills, from the fundamentals to the advanced techniques. Participants will practice throwing, catching, batting, base running, and strategy, while also developing a love for the game and a sense of teamwork and sportsmanship. Bring a bat and glove!

Flag Football (7-14)

Bite-Sized Sports (3-4)

Bite Sized Sports is a fun and interactive class for kids who want to explore different sports and games. Each week our program introduces a new sport, providing a fantastic opportunity for families to learn, play, and grow together. Bite Sized Sports is a great way to introduce kids to the world of sports and encourage them to stay active and healthy. Basics of Social Dance (18+)

This class will focus on social type dances such as Salsa, Bachata, American Hustle, Nightclub Two Step , and other styles that can be danced to a variety of music. We will break down the basics of rhythm, partnering, lead and follow, and dancing in a social setting. Instructed by Emily Ruth.

Discover the ancient art of Qigong in this four-week workshop designed to nurture your body, mind, and spirit.
