Warehouse Apps
Streamline Your Warehouse Operations with Our Digital Warehouse Platform.
Transform your warehouse management with our cutting-edge Warehouse App, designed to simplify processes, enhance efficiency, and empower your team—all without writing a single line of code. Built on a powerful no-code platform, this app integrates seamlessly with JD Edwards (JDE) systems, delivering real-time insights and customizable features tailored to your business needs.
Why Choose Our Warehouse App?
Intuitive Dashboard for Real-Time Insights
The app’s dashboard is your command center, offering:
Customer, Item, and Sales Order Inquiries: Access critical data with live queries to JDE, including address book records, item master details, and open/closed orders.
Customizable Reporting Tools: Generate reports by customer, year, or other criteria, with options to assign customers to specific users for streamlined workflows.
User Settings: Manage passwords, device registration, and preferences with ease.
Powerful, Customizable Data Management
Live Queries and Filtering: Pull real-time data from JDE tables, with flexible filters for customer number, name, city, state, and more. The state dropdown, for instance, syncs directly with JDE’s User Defined Codes (UDC).
Column Selector: Tailor the data display to your needs by selecting only the columns you want to see, such as customer number or alpha name. Save preferences at the user profile level for a personalized experience.
Mixed Data Sources: Combine data from JDE tables, orchestrations, and business functions to view critical metrics like last invoice dates, open amounts, and aging info all in one place.
Drill-Down Capabilities for Deeper Insights
Navigate effortlessly through detailed views:
Customer Inquiry: View account info, contacts, and open orders, with breadcrumb navigation to maintain context and save filter states.
Item Inquiry: Access item master data, branch plant details, sales catalog sections, and lotlevel inventory, with sortable columns for quick analysis.

No-Code Customization for Maximum Flexibility
Our no-code platform empowers business analysts and solution architects to customize the app without programming expertise:
Drag-and-Drop Configuration: Add or remove fields, lock essential columns, or create expressions for calculations (e.g., dividing line numbers by 100) using a secure, selection-based interface.
SQL Injection Protection: Built-in safeguards ensure safe data handling by restricting inputs to pre-defined options, eliminating the risk of errors or security breaches.
Attachment Support: Download JDE attachments (e.g., PDFs or text files) linked to sales orders or PO lines, simplified through our no-code environment.
Cross-Platform Compatibility
Access the same powerful features on mobile or web, with responsive design optimized for both environments. Mobile users can leverage device features like cameras, while web users enjoy identical functionality, including breadcrumb navigation and advanced filtering.
Low-Code Option for Advanced Users
For developers, our integrated low-code IDE offers unlimited flexibility to build custom features, akin to Java or C++ programming, while maintaining compatibility with the no-code environment.

Session #2 Digital / Paperless Work Order Management:
Eliminate Manual Entry / Streamline Process Flow / Enhanced Controls / Increased Security
Consider a shop floor where every user—whether an operator, supervisor, or quality lead—has real-time access to taskdriven workflows, can enter notes and approvals directly on a tablet, and no longer relies on outdated scanners or paperbased processes to keep production moving.
For manufacturers still relying on legacy scanning systems, this vision often feels out of reach. These systems are tied to specific hardware, lack flexibility, and require manual workarounds like handwritten notes and printed travelers. The result? Slower execution, frequent errors, limited visibility, and higher operational costs.
K-Rise Systems’ Digital Work Order Management solution brings this modern shop floor to life. Built on the EASYProcess low-code/no-code platform, the solution integrates seamlessly with JD Edwards via Orchestrator and Business Functions. It runs on any tablet or mobile device with scanners.
This mobile-first system does far more than eliminate paper. It enables manufacturers to operate with precision, agility, and control through:
PPE and GHS pictogram visibility embedded directly in workflows
Enforced item scanning to reduce errors and validate data integrity
Real-time notifications and approvals, keeping teams aligned and accountable
Role-based dashboards, ensuring every user sees the right data at the right time
Work Order Picking and Staging tools, including support for parent/child package work orders
Comment tracking and writing capabilities to replace manual logs and shift notes
Quality Test Result capture, including value storage and approval to pack workflows
Complete data traceability, with all information stored in a centralized database
Automatic PDF archiving, supporting audit readiness and compliance

Leading manufacturers, including global specialty chemical company Michelman, have deployed this solution to eliminate legacy scanning constraints, improve data accuracy, and enable real-time coordination across roles.
In this session, we’ll explore how JD Edwards E1 manufacturers are using K-Rise’s Digital Work Order Management solution to modernize shop floor operations. Real-world examples—including a recent implementation at Michelman— will highlight measurable results and best practices from the field. You’ll also see how this solution integrates seamlessly with K-Rise’s broader suite of Inventory Management apps, enabling end-to-end visibility and automation across:
Inbound PO Receipt
Work Order Approve
Inventory Issues

Employee Spotlight
Alex Kashyap
We’re excited to welcome a fresh face to the K-Rise Systems family! In this month’s Employee Spotlight, we’re introducing you to Alex Kashyap, a talented addition to our development team. With a passion for innovation and a drive to make an impact, he is already diving into exciting projects and bringing new energy to the team.
Could you give us a little of your background? Where you went to school (high school & college) What you studied in college and why you chose software development?
I attended Naperville Central High School, where I completed their computer science and math program. In May 2024, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with an emphasis in software development from Northern Illinois University. During my time at NIU, I was an active member of Varsity League of Legends, ACM, and NIU Climbers.
I have always been motivated by curiosity about how things work and technology. Software development was a natural fit for me. My father, who is also a software engineer, played a role in shaping my interest by taking me to events like "Take Your Kid to Work" day, which further emboldened my interest in the field.
What is your current role at K-Rise and how did you get there?
My current role at K-Rise is Application Developer. I was initially contracted in February as a Junior Application Developer, but later that same month, I transitioned into a full-time Application Developer position.

What does a typical day look like for you?

A typical day for me includes a few constants: I start with a cup of coffee, work through my assigned tasks, and make sure to take a break for tea and a walk at lunchtime. Once I complete my work on a project, there are usually new tasks ready for me to pick up. Lately, I've been working on a lot of new projects, which has been keeping things fresh.
What’s a recent project you’ve worked on that you’re proud of?
How do you stay up to date with new trends or tools in the development world?
I like to stay up to date with new trends and tools in the development world by attending tech conferences with my dad or watching keynotes. My favorite conference so far has been AWS re:Invent.

I am especially proud of the work I recently completed on the warehouse project. When I started, I had little knowledge of warehouse operations and their unique challenges, but I was work?
I enjoy working on cars. I recently purchased a "new" BMW 335IS and am currently building a track car for the Joliet Autobahn. In an ideal world, I’d spend my weekdays as an engineer and my weekends traveling to race while building my cars and bikes!
And although I’m a bit out of practice- I still enjoy competitive gaming, primarily team-based strategy games, and cyclocross.

I also enjoy spending time answering simple questions on Stack Overflow and GitHub, which keeps me engaged with the broader developer community. Additionally, I continue to work on small projects in my free time. Right now, I'm organizing all the tutoring and study materials I created during university into an interactive application to help NIU Computer Science students prepare for exams.

What’s one tool or app you can’t live without in your day-to-day work?
For all of the conversion projects, Jeff's conversion tool is absolutely outstanding. 10/10!
Are there any upcoming features or releases you're excited about?
I am most excited for the next warehouse client project. I would love to be a part of the team for whichever client we have.
What advice would you give to someone starting out in software development?
The most cliche but best advice I was given is to be patient. Breaking into software development takes a lot of effort, and it’s important to understand that progress takes time. Stay persistent, keep learning, and be as patient as possible throughout the journey.
