LETTER FROM OUR CAO Susan Murphy - Chief Academic Officer

Dear Prospective Parent,

At Jupiter Christian School, we believe education is far more than the acquisition of knowledge - it is the shaping of the whole child: heart, mind, and spirit. Our mission is to teach the mind, reach the heart, and inspire servant leaders who will impact the world for Jesus Christ. Everything we do is rooted in that mission.

JCS offers a learning environment where academic excellence, spiritual formation, and personal calling come together to prepare students not just for college or career, but for a life of purpose.

Academic Excellence

Our rigorous academic programs are designed to challenge and inspire students at every level. Our committed team of educators integrates faith with learning, encouraging critical thinking, creativity, and a deep love for truth. In nurturing classrooms with individualized attention, every student is empowered to grow intellectually in a supportive environment that nurtures curiosity and confidence.

Spiritual Development

Faith is woven into the fabric of our school. Through Bible instruction, daily prayer, and weekly Chapel, students are invited to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ. Our faculty and staff serve as mentors, modeling lives of faith and integrity as they walk alongside students in their spiritual journeys.

Character Formation

We emphasize the development of Christlike character through intentional teaching and service opportunities. Values such as humility, respect, responsibility, and compassion are instilled daily, equipping students to lead with integrity and joyfully serve. Further, students live out Micah 6:8 to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with God.

Calling and Purpose

One of the most distinctive aspects of a JCS education is our commitment to helping students discover their God-given talents and passions. We believe that each child is uniquely created with a purpose and that success is not measured merely by college admission or professional accomplishments, but by a life lived in obedience to God’s calling. As students explore who they are in Christ, they begin to uncover the good works He has prepared in advance for them (Ephesians 2:10) - learning to steward their gifts for His glory.

Community and Belonging

At JCS, every student is known, valued, and loved. We foster a strong partnership with families and cultivate a sense of belonging that extends beyond the classroom. From supportive faculty relationships to parent involvement, we are a community bound together by shared faith and a common goal: to see each child thrive.

Whether you are a longtime friend of Jupiter Christian, an alum, or someone just discovering us, we invite you to learn more. Explore our website, follow us on social media, or schedule a tour. We would love to show you what makes JCS a place where learning is contagious, faith is deepened, and students are equipped to live out their God-given purpose.

With Joy and Hope,

WELCOME

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

G rades K-4

Our Elementary School offers a nurturing environment where small groups and differentiated instruction contribute significantly to the quality of our academic program. We provide students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and spiritual foundation to become leaders and transformers at the next level and beyond.

The Elementary years are when a child’s dreams, interests, and gifts begin to unfold.

Students grow in academic skills, social understanding, biblical knowledge, and resilience as they become more independent.

Students are evaluated regularly through various classroom methods as well as measurement tools such as the Reading Benchmark Assessment and NWEA’s MAP Growth Assessment.

Jupiter Christian School utilizes numerous publishers and texts to comprise our standards-aligned, academically rigorous, and Christcentered curriculum.

Differentiated learning centers and small group learning are intentionally integrated into the daily routine.

The average class size is 17 Students per Grade Level: K through 4th Grade.

Academic and Leadership opportunities include sharing the Morning Announcements, serving on the Worship Club, and participating in service projects, LEGO League, the ACSI Spelling Bee, ACSI Math Olympics, ACSI Creative Writing Festival, and ACSI Art Festival.

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

- Matthew 19:14 (NIV)

Elementary School Leadership Stories

Emerson Cishek, 4th Grade

Emerson has been serving JCS since she started on West Campus! One of the first clubs she signed up for was Service Club, where they tried to find ways to spiritually encourage classmates through art projects. Emmie shares that they created posters with scripture on them to encourage, and painted rocks with short, kind words on them to make students and teachers smile.

In the last year, she has tried to find ways to go above and beyond to help her classmates and teachers whenever she has the opportunity. Examples include helping friends with their class work if they need extra help, and volunteering to help her teacher with things like handing out supplies. Striving to do any assigned classroom jobs with a good attitude and without complaining is another way Emmie strives to serve!

Emmie’s desire is to be a great friend and help those around her.

These are the things that make her want to be a leader at JCS. She loves to encourage those around her and wants to grow as a student and as a friend. “I think God has gifted me with a genuine love for my friends, a desire to help others, and a heart that wants to grow closer to God. Those things help me serve at JCS! Sometimes being a leader can just look like being a good example for classmates and working hard with a good attitude. Doing both of those things has made my experience at JCS amazing!”

“Other Elementary Students Shared...

I feel the Lord gave me the gifts of helping, serving, and leadership in order to be more like Him.

Andrew Thomas, 1st Grade

I show leadership and service to JCS when I build up others, and I help First Graders not to be scared of Second Grade and the big campus. When someone doesn’t feel good I take them to the clinic. I’m kind, thoughtful, and stick up for people when someone isn’t being nice to them. It makes me feel confident to help others!

Niko Skokos, 4th Grade

“He has told you, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”

- Micah 6:8 (ESV)

MIDDLE SCHOOL G rades 5-8

The Middle School years are marked with tremendous change, growth, and opportunity for students. At Jupiter Christian School, the heartbeat of our Middle School program is Micah 6:8 when the Lord defines what is good: to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk in humility. Our purpose is to help form both competent and confident students who understand the Lord’s calling in their lives and are ready to navigate high school and beyond.

With the foundation of a nurturing community, our Middle School cultivates both academic readiness and leadership development.

Our teachers are not only subject matter experts but also coaches who will challenge and most importantly, care for the minds of their students.

With a 2:1 student to device ratio, students have access to iPads, MacBook Airs, and PC desktops with numerous apps to augment the educational experience both at school and at home.

SMART Boards in the classroom help our teachers leverage student devices more meaningfully, while easily managing connected devices, content, and learning experiences – both in and out of the classroom.

To ensure each child can reach their full God-given potential, Middle School provides: Positive Action Bible curriculum, weekly Chapel and advisory groups, and a daily homeroom and Bible period.

The Middle School House System is a house community meant to help provide cultural belonging, character formation, and Christian scholarship.

Middle School Leadership Stories

Annabel Brack, 7th Grade

Annabel starting volunteering at the after-school Lego League Club with Elementary kids. She also serves in a leadership position at Quantum House where she and her fellow classmates cook pancakes and other needs.

Annabel founded the Middle School Newspaper with a group of talented students where they got to launch the first one in JCS history! She also serves on 8 student panels, 2 ACSI panels and also got to share her testimony several times last year.

In order to continue being a leader, Annabel has to maintain good grades and set a good behavior example for other students. This is important to her because she has a vision for her school’s student leadership and it gives her an opportunity to apply her ideas. She also shares “I believe God blessed me with the ability

to speak to the public well. Being a leader has let me gain new friends and has also created good opportunities for growing as a student and leader.”

Other Middle School Students Shared...

“Some of the qualities I feel the Lord has given me to serve as an Ambassador is perseverance, humility, and putting others before myself.

Austin Burnett, 6th Grade

I wanted to be a student leader because it looked like a lot of fun and it makes me happy to make other kids feel good. God has given me a great sense of humor and a heart to help others!

Mark Mestrovich, 6th Grade

It makes me feel better about myself when I know that what I just did is what Jesus would have done. And that makes me have a positive attitude towards things, especially making my experience at Jupiter Christian School a lot better.

Evelyn Gephart, 8th Grade

HIGH SCHOOL G rades 9-12

High School is an exceptional season in a student’s lifetime. Surrounded by committed faculty advisors and positive social supports, JCS seeks to capitalize on the promise and possibility of these pivotal years by raising up well-rounded, self-aware, compassionate individuals who are prepared to take the next step. JCS provides an academically challenging, college preparatory, and Christ-centered curriculum. It is our desire to thoroughly prepare students for their postsecondary pursuits both academically and spiritually. We provide students the necessary knowledge, skills, and spiritual foundation required to enable them to become leaders and transformers at the next level and beyond!

The curriculum integrates a biblical worldview to enhance and reinforce the mastery of core knowledge and life-long skills while encouraging Christian values.

Technology is integrated regularly into the curriculum classroom. We offer a 2:1 student to device ratio, using iPads, MacBook Airs, and PC desktops with numerous apps to augment the educational experience both at school and at home.

JCS has established a partnership with Palm Beach Atlantic University and Southeastern University which allows students to enroll in college coursework, while attending JCS.

The Prefect Board Program is designed for select 12th grade students to join JCS administration in our goal of teaching the mind, reaching the heart, and inspiring servant leaders who are impacting the world for Jesus Christ. By the end of their senior year, each member will have mentored and been mentored, as well as played an important part in major actions, decisions, and changes within the areas of our school where they serve.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

- Joshua 1:9 (NIV)

High School Leadership Stories

Brennan Gilday, 12th Grade

This past year at Jupiter Christian School has been a remarkable journey of leadership, growth, and faith. I have served as President of 700 South, DECA, the Math Club, the Business Club, and the Student Government Association (SGA), as well as Treasurer of the National Honor Society. I was also honored to be the keynote speaker at the Palm Beach Gala and Senior Chapel.

In these roles, I focused on student development, providing classmates with business opportunities within our school. As a prefect, I strive to live as a God-honoring Christian, setting an example for others.

My leadership journey began with the encouragement of Mr. Richardson, who believed in my potential and supported my run for SGA President. His faith in me inspired me to step into leadership.

Throughout my time at JCS, I have embraced the gifts God has given me: courage, determination, and a heart for mentoring others. Being a student leader has shaped who I am both inside and outside of school, teaching me that true leadership is leading by example.

As I move forward, I am proud to leave behind opportunities for students to gain business experience - opportunities I wish I had as an underclassman. I am grateful to see others succeed and benefit from these pathways.

Emma Pledger, 12th Grade

Over the past year at Jupiter Christian School, I have been blessed with many opportunities to serve and lead. I participated in the National Honor Society, helped organize the Annual Trunk or Treat, and assisted at the Annual ESE Clay Shoot. My favorite experience was helping create and operate the 700 South Coffee Cart and Merch Store, where I learned valuable business and problem solving skills.

As a student leader, I served as the Events Coordinator for the Coffee Cart and the Layout Editor of the Yearbook, gaining experience in event planning and publication design. My desire to lead was driven by a calling to leave a lasting impact on JCS and to help

others, a calling I believe God placed on my heart.

God has equipped me with a willingness to help and a commitment to give my best in everything I do. Serving as a student leader has deepened my faith, allowing me to view situations through the lens of Jesus and learn valuable lessons that glorify God.

PATHWAYS PROGRAM

Connect - Experience - Inspire

The Pathways Program equips our educators and leaders to partner with parents in engaging the unique, God-given gifts and talents of their children. Our Pathways Mission is to expose students to professional fields and career opportunities through specialized curriculum, mentoring relationships, and experiential learning, providing insight into God’s calling on their lives. Students on this pathway are challenged to make

a higher level of academic commitment through engagement in a more rigorous and in-depth experience in an area that may be of interest for their future pursuits. Pathways Program completion could be described as earning a “major” emphasis alongside general education requirements. Often referred to as a “magnet program,” the JCS Pathways Program is a focused, innovative course of study to prepare students to be competitive and successful in college and be industry-ready in the current professional climate. JCS students will have the opportunity to hone those skills, make strides toward their future goals, connect with internship and career opportunities, and discover the Lord’s calling in their life.

“For

we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

- Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)

700 SOUTH COFFEE AND APPAREL

Gaining Real-World Experience Through Our Student RunBusiness

From the JCS student body came the idea to become entrepreneurs - to take a risk and start student-run businesses. The school community listened and said “ Yes, we will help you make this happen.” The parent community also said “ Yes, we hear your ideas and want to guide and support you.”

The students planned, pitched, and pitched again to secure funding and build what became 700 South Coffee and Apparel. When the doors opened in the Fall of 2024, the entire community - students, families, and teachers - continued to say yes, again and again, by showing up and supporting 700 South.

Reflect, Enrich, Affirm, Create, and Hear

Our mission at JCS is to teach the mind, reach the heart, and inspire servant leadership within our students. One of the ways we live out and realize our mission is through a yearly, long-standing, and favored tradition here at JCS! This week is focused on allowing our students to R eflect, E nrich, A ffirm, C reate, and H ear as we intentionally connect spiritual formation and classroom learning with service opportunities throughout our local, national, and global community. In addition, students get to see how they can have an impact on the world and others as they are available to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ.

We believe that learning is an act of worship. Colossians 3:23 (NIV) states: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” We understand learning is NOT passive, but active with the intent to bring glory and honor to God. Since students learn best by doing and experiencing, R.E.A.C.H. Week is an opportunity for our Middle and High School students to engage intellectually, socially, physically, and spiritually.

Course offerings highlight spiritual formation, interdisciplinary learning, civic engagement, career development, cultural awareness, leadership, and other professional and intellectual skills.

FINE ARTS

Integrate Your Faith - Develop Your Artistry

Believing that God, the Great Creator, has blessed each individual with creative gifts to reflect His character, the JCS Fine Arts Department seeks to nurture and encourage each student in the discovery of their God-given talents to bring glory to God and His kingdom. The programs in the Fine Arts Academy include choir, band, art, and theatre. Each area is committed to excellence through a developed academic course design, as well as a variety of performance opportunities. Choir, band, and art are involved in numerous school wide and community

events and service projects. Our theatre has strong productions each year highlighting the gifts of our students. The Fine Arts Academy develops school leaders through our National Art Honor Society, the Tri-M Music Honor Society, and the Thespian Troupe.

Building, Testing, and Revealing Christ-Like Characteristics

At JCS, we believe that athletics is an excellent environment to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ and become more like Him through the testing of our faith. Interscholastic athletics should foster and cultivate traits of Christian character including diligence, responsibility, courage, loyalty, cooperation, self-discipline, good sportsmanship, competition, team

play, and striving towards excellence. Moreover, we endeavor to show love, unity, mental toughness, respect, integrity, encouragement, and enthusiasm both in and out of the athletic arena. Athletics provides a venue to build, to test, and to reveal these Christ-like characteristics as we strive to love God and others.

LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT

Dear JCS Families and Friends,

It is with great joy and humility that I welcome you to explore Jupiter Christian School. We are a vibrant community of educators, staff, coaches, and families united by a shared commitment to our mission: to teach the mind, reach the heart, and inspire servant leaders who impact the world for Jesus Christ.

As the new President of JCS, I am honored to step into a leadership role at such a pivotal and exciting moment in the life of our school. For more than 60 years, JCS has remained steadfast in its foundation: rooted in the centrality of our Christian faith, devoted to prayer, and committed to excellence in all we do. These values remain unchanged - and yet, we stand poised for a future marked by transformation and bold new vision.

Vision 2030 represents our roadmap for that future. We are enhancing the academic strength of our school by increasing the number of faculty with advanced degrees and expanding dualenrollment pathways so more students graduate with college credits. We are broadening and deepening our curriculum, equipping students to thrive in a complex world while remaining grounded in Christ.

We are also united as a community around a shared sense of purpose. With God’s provision, we are advancing in a direction that will support growth across academics, the arts, athletics, and facilities. Together, we are building not just for today, but for the next generation.

At the heart of it all, our promise remains the same: to educate students in a nurturing community where they are loved, known, and valued . To provide a place where faith and learning are seamlessly integrated throughout a rigorous, college-preparatory experience. Where athletes pursue excellence and master the importance of competing with purpose. Where creativity and discovery of God-given talents to bring glory to God through the fine arts.

I am incredibly grateful to join you at this exciting juncture. I look forward to partnering with you as we pursue this vision together and continue our mission to raise up leaders who will make a lasting difference for Christ.

With Joy and Gratitude, Jay Boggess, JCS President
