To the Jupiter Christian School community: I look back on the 2022-23 school year with immense gratitude! We have hit milestones in all areas of our school, including the top half of our high school class holding over a 4.0 GPA, over 1180 on the SATs and 26 on the ACTs. Our band and choir were represented as All-State and All-County, plus featured at the Kravis Center. Our Men’s Basketball team won the Districts, as did three of our Varsity swimmers and one of our track stars. The activities around campus helped make lasting memories that our students will take with them when they leave, all adding to a part of their story. In three years of leadership, what I have learned is that behind all of these accolades, victories, and developments are countless people—faculty, students, and families—who embody the commitment to community that keeps JCS the standard of excellence in Christian education! As you will see in the pages of this report, we have much to celebrate across every division. The need for Christian education and godly graduates has never been greater, and we are blessed to be a community that understands this calling on our school. In all my years of experience in Christian education, I have never been more confident in this team of mission-driven faculty and staff who are committed to continuing the great legacy of our school for you and your family. The Annual Report provides an overview of the increasing strength, quality of experience, and ongoing development at Jupiter Christian School. I want to thank you for the unparalleled support we have received from you, in record levels of giving, volunteer hours, committee participation, school event attendance, and the strengthening of the influence of our school. Dollars Raised By Event: Under the Tuscan Sun Gala - 10/6/2022

Our Under the Tuscan Sun Gala was held at the Pelican Club. The evening consisted of dinner, a cocktail hour singer, guest speakers, and a call to the heart. Most recently we have purchased 16 Smart Boards, 5 Smart TVs, STEM Lab Furniture and Student Commons Furniture for the 21st Century Campaign. This event raised $322,989

Ladies Legacy Luncheon - 3/16/2023

Our luncheon was held at the North Palm Beach Country Club. It was inspiring to see our donors prioritize JCS in their giving and propel us toward critical capital improvements to make our security even greater. This event raised $27,944

JCS Annual Golf Tournament - 5/11/2023

The JCS Annual Golf Tournament was held at the exclusive Loxahatchee Club. The event consisted of a 4-person scramble, raffle, silent and live auction, and a luncheon following the golf. Funds raised benefited the JCS Athletic Program. This event raised $92,667

ESE Christmas Classic Clay Shoot - 12/3/2022

Our Annual Christmas Classic Clay Shoot was held at Quail Creek Sporting Ranch. This event helps support the Student Learning Services (Enrichment Programs and Student Support). The event consisted of a clay shoot, lunch, live and silent auction, and kids village. This event raised $132,763

Love Your Neighbor Campaign (South Campus) Donna Bartz End-of-the-Year Bash - 5/18/2023 We had two events to support the South Campus at Urban Youth Impact. This campus was fully funded by grants and private donations for two years. Even though our South Campus is closed, we continue to pray for the Kingdom work happening in West Palm Beach. This event raised $119,950

Our End-of-the-Year Bash took place on our West Campus. We had fun games for kids, snacks, bounce houses, a DJ and more! All funds raised went to the Donna Bartz Memorial Scholarship Fund. Donna was a JCS teacher for 13 years before going home to be with the Lord after her battle with cancer. This event raised $12,466

JCS Security Updates

The students entrusted to our care at Jupiter Christian School are our highest priority. We recognize these precious children are wonderfully created and cherished by God and treasured by their loving families. Caring for them extends far beyond making sure they have a wonderful educational experience - it means protecting them whenever they are in our care. JCS remains ahead of the curve for the public and private sector. Among private schools in Palm Beach County, Jupiter Christian School has been referred to as the gold standard by Jupiter Police Department (JPD). Prevention is the key to safety. Training of staff, physical personnel for security, and capital improvements for our campuses is imperative. Thanks to the support of our JCS families, the following security enhancements have been made: Armed security presence on all three campuses. JCS’s own security team receives some of the same professional training given to the esteemed JPD. Additionally, each of our armed guards undergoes annual training and re-certification for State Security D and G Licensing. l Over $100K has been invested into the installation and implementation of Centegix CrisisAlert, a crisis response system for our West and East Campuses. After months of planning and preparation, IT set-up, ordering of hardware, etc., this system has been installed. l Over $75K is being invested into a state-of-the-art accesscontrolled fencing system around our East Campus. An updated survey was conducted on the 125 S. Pennock Lane property. We have contracted with a fencing company and an electrician. Completing permitting with the town of Jupiter is underway. l The quantity of surveillance cameras has doubled and the number of monitoring stations on the North Campus has increased. l The number of employees with FCC-licensed two-way radios has increased by 65% in one year’s time, with intercampus communication capabilities. l

Spiritual Formation & Outreach

At Jupiter Christian School, spiritual life is a part of who we are and everything we do from academics and athletics to fine arts and community involvement. Our desire is to help move our students toward a growing relationship with Jesus that naturally flows into every area of their lives through Christ-centered, Biblically-based programs and age-appropriate opportunities. As part of each student’s spiritual development, we also host regular outreach events, provide service opportunities, and organize mission trips to aid in each student’s spiritual growth. We partner with local, national, and international organizations to inspire students to be servant leaders and to put their faith into action. Spiritual Formation opportunities included: l

JCS Pathways Program

JCS Pathways Program for grades 9-12 is founded on Ephesians 2:10, believing each student is God’s masterpiece, created to do good works, which God prepared in advance for them. As part of our comprehensive college preparatory program, our Pathways Program exposes students to professional fields and career opportunities through specialized curriculum, mentoring relationships, and experiential learning as students gain insight into God’s calling on their lives. Pathways program completion could be described as earning a “major” emphasis alongside general education requirements. In 2023, 16 students graduated with a Pathway distinction and 22 students participated in rigorous coursework, experiential learning, gained work-place skills through internships, and career exploration.

Pathway Programs Offered

Business and Entrepreneurship: In pursuing Business and Entrepreneurship, students learn how organizations create, manage, market, finance, and track value. In the study of Economics, students learn to apply mathematical models to data in order to answer public policy questions and private enterprise problems. Medical Professions: As a part of their education within the Medical Professions Pathway, our faculty mentors students in research and discovery projects to equip young leaders to pursue excellence in a variety of career trajectories, including vocations such as physicians, nurses, physical therapists, veterinarians, dentists, public health advocates, biomedical researchers, and more. Communications: The Communications Pathway allows students to specialize in journalism, communication, and production. These areas work together to produce various opportunities for experience through the school newspaper, yearbook, and media. In this academy, students keep the school community informed and develop skills such as videography, photography, design, writing, mass communication, editing, digital media, publishing, storytelling, and more. Fine Arts: There are two Fine Arts Pathways: Performance and Visual Arts. The performing arts endorsement seeks to bring each of its students to an intellectual understanding of the many aspects of musical practice and to demand the highest level possible of technical and artistic achievement in performance, composition, and worship. The visual arts endorsement takes students down a path of achievement and vision that integrates faith, creative inquiry, and hands-on practice.

Academic Programming

Jupiter Christian School offers a Christ-centered, liberal arts curriculum marked by academic excellence, innovation, and creativity from preschool through 12th grade. We assist students in developing the knowledge and abilities that characterize critical thinking and a love for life-long learning. Knowing that each student is uniquely created by God, we partner with parents in helping students identify their gifts and talents.

High School

High School students are provided with an academically challenging, college preparatory and Christ-centered curriculum. The curriculum integrates a biblical worldview to enhance and reinforce the mastery of core knowledge and life-long skills while encouraging Christian values. JCS has also established a partnership with Palm Beach Atlantic University which allows students to enroll in college coursework while on the Jupiter Christian campus.

High School Highlights: l

The College Board recently named JCS a Silver member of the 2023 AP School Honor Roll. Silver status means that at least 54% of JCS’s Class of 2023 took at least one AP exam. Schools can earn this recognition annually based on criteria that reflect a commitment to increasing college-going culture, providing opportunities for students to earn college credit, and maximizing college readiness. Middle School & Elementary School

The Middle School years are marked with tremendous change, growth, and opportunity for students. At Jupiter Christian School, the heartbeat of our Middle School program is Micah 6:8 when the Lord defines what is good: to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk in humility. Our purpose is to help form both competent and confident students who understand the Lord’s calling in their life and are ready to navigate high school and beyond. Our Elementary School offers a nurturing environment where small groups and differentiated instruction contribute significantly to the quality of our academic program. We provide students the necessary knowledge, skills, and spiritual foundation to become leaders and transformers at the next level and beyond. The elementary years are when a child’s dreams, interests, and gifts begin to unfold.

Students participated in engaging activities related to robotics, coding, and engineering using LEGO Spike and Prime. STEM classes focus on collaboration, problem solving, creativity, communication and critical thinking through hands-on learning and reflection. Life Skills class helped students gain a deeper understanding and further practice of important life skills such as self-awareness, self-management, resilience, stress management, relationship skills, and responsible decision making. Inaugural year of LEGO League ACSI Competitions such as Spelling Bee, Math Olympics, and ACSI Art Festival Field trips to St. Augustine, The Little Red Schoolhouse, Kennedy Space Center, Museum of Discovery & Science, and more Special yearly traditions included the International Festival, Market Day, Young Inventor’s Fair, and Class Debates Our East Campus Kindergarten and First Graders enjoyed Coffee Connects with Moms & Dads, Grandparents Day Chapel, Jr. Eagle Clubs, plus guest speakers such as Jupiter Police Departments K9 Officer Chad Norman, along with Officers Bandit and Corby. Enrichment classes, such as TREK, allowed students to sharpen critical thinking and problem solving skills while they learned coding.

Preschool

Every preschool classroom at Jupiter Christian School is designed with your child in mind. We provide a premium education embraced in a loving, intimate atmosphere. This atmosphere will encourage your young child to discover all that God has designed for them to be. While learning through an ACSI approved education, your child will explore their world through age-appropriate, hands-on learning. Our curriculum is designed to bring the best from your child’s individual educational experience.

East Campus Highlights: l

Our Preschool traditions continued with Johnny Appleseed Day, 100 Days of School, Dr. Seuss Week, and Superhero Day. Preschool celebrated the harvest with a Fall Festival, Pumpkin Patch, and Thanksgiving Celebrations. Classrooms were transformed into a Royal Ball for the day showing that we are all children of the King, loved and cherished just the way He made us!

North Campus Highlights: l

Our North Campus students continued to grow in their faith through daily Bible devotionals and teachings. We also celebrated our love for Christ through daily worship time. With our parents and friends of JCS, we were able to participate in acts of kindness and giving to various entities/charities. Students continued to grow academically because of smaller class sizes and individual attention given to each student’s growth potential. We once again, celebrated the birth of Jesus at JCS with Christmas Programs in the Generation Church sanctuary.

South Campus Highlights: l

The Senior Prefects helped put on a Fall Festival for the South Campus. The students participated in sack races, crafts, cookie making, and other fun carnival games followed by chapel led by the High School Principal. Our Middle School House Council joined students for their morning meeting including pledges, prayer, THINK time, and the daily mantra. Middle School student leaders shared what it meant to be a leader, and surprised Kindergarten to 2nd grade students with their service project for the quarter: stockings and new books for each student! 13.

The main goal of Student Life at JCS is to provide a broad and productive experience for all of our students. As we raise up the next generation of powerful leaders who seek to impact their world for Jesus Christ, we are committed to offering a diverse array of opportunities for students to expand their minds and develop their talents through activities, clubs, societies, enriching their high school experience. It is our belief that students who participate in co-curricular programs will enrich their social and cultural experiences, developing their skills and fostering their God-given gifts. We want graduates to embrace the importance of lifelong mental and physical wellness by connecting and correlating their unique abilities to everyday life.

R.E.A.C.H. Week is focused on allowing our students to Reflect, Enrich, Affirm, Create, and Hear as we intentionally connect spiritual formation and classroom learning with service opportunities throughout our local, national, and global community. 21st Century Classroom Campaign

With the launch of our 21st Century Campaign, we set out with the audacious goal of raising 1 million dollars in support of new flooring on the West Campus and much-needed classroom updates such as flexible seating, furniture, creative centers for in-depth learning, and cutting-edge technology like SMART Boards and Smart TVs. Interior & Exterior Renovations l

Flooring throughout the West Campus was replaced with an environmentally-friendly, hypoallergenic solution. The highquality construction and design is sure to last a long time and has made our campus a more beautiful place. The front reception area was upgraded to be more inviting and modern. A specifically designed Student Commons area was created for students. East Campus received brand new turf and students have enjoyed exploring their very own butterfly garden.
