I will be attending schoolcraft community college and perusing a career in civil engineering.
My favorite PVS memory is singing karaoke on the bus rides as well as the pasta parties, my pre game rituals are listening to music and eating before a game. Soccer has taught me that not everyone will like you but you must always give it your best. I would like to pass on to my teammates not to let a coach ruin something that you have loved for a very long time.

I am a first year varsity player who made the decision to step away from playing at the Michigan Jaguars for my final season to be alongside my sister. Before joining PVS I played in the Girls Academy conference, where I had the opportunity to compete against the best in the country. During my sophomore year, I was honored to be invited to a talent ID event for the midwest, recognizing the top players in the region. Additionally, my GA team qualified for Nationals in California three years in a row. Academically, I have consistently maintained Honor Roll status throughout high school, while participating in the stem academy. Next year, I plan to pursue a degree in business/finance, although I have not yet decided on which university I will attend. I intend to continue playing soccer through a college club team to stay involved with the sport I love. My pre-game ritual is a 30 min nap on the couch, I usually dream about celebrating with my teammates after we score. Soccer has taught me the value of hard work and perseverance. One piece of advice that I would pass onto my younger teammates is to never be afraid to take risks, growth happens when you step out of your comfort zone. Confidence is always key!

During my six years as a captain for DCFC, I developed strong leadership skills that have shaped my approach to teamwork. As I plan to major in early education at Michigan Dearborn, I will also be a new coach for DCFC, where I can inspire and guide future players. One of my favorite memories from Plymouth soccer is the pasta parties, which always brought our team together. Before every game, I have a ritual of putting my soccer equipment on my right side before my left side. Soccer has taught me the importance of leadership and the value of sharing positivity with my teammates.

Freshman year, I was starting goalkeeper on JV at Perrysburg High School, earning one of the highest save percentages in the NLL conference. With Pacesetter Soccer Club, my team finished as the Ohio Valley Division champions, qualifying us for the National ECNL RL competition. Sophomore year, transitioning to Plymouth High School, I earned my spot on Varsity as a defender. Junior year, I transitioned to an attacking position, earning an honorable mention within the KLAA conference.
I identify as an aspiring artist and creative. I have gained congressional recognition through the Ohio Congressional Art competition in 2021. I have competed in PCEP art shows for my photography winning 1st and 3rd place for my digital art as well as photography in the Gaffield College art competition. Recently, I received a Gold Key award for the Scholastic Art & Writing regional competition qualifying me for the National Scholastic competition. I also received a Silver Key medal in the National competition, 1:110,000 kids chosen. Academically, I have maintained a high honor roll for my entire high school career taking honors and AP coursework. My postgraduate plans: I will be attending Drake University Honors college double majoring in Fine Arts as well as Advertising Production. My career goal is to become an Art Director/Photographer in the Sports Magazine Industry.
During my years with PVS, I feel my favorite memories lie with the Park games. It is always high energy, high spirits, and high competition. Before games I always listen to my personalized playlists listening to the smooth melodic tunes of R&B, or the Nu metal scream of IPrevail and Bizkit. Soccer has taught me the importance of connection within an environment and how to adapt. My advice is to live in the moment. Don’t worry over what will happen next, or what hasn’t happened yet. Similar to being on the pitch, when that last buzzer sounds, you wanna look back with no regrets, knowing you gave it your all, and had fun while doing it.

My favorite PVS memory has been meeting new players every year and getting the chance to form bonds and accomplish goals together. My pre-game ritual is eating a pb&j with an apple, and listening to “Praise” by Elevation Worship. Soccer has taught me how important it is to connect with others and having support for one another because these are both essential aspects in having a great team. One thing I hope to pass on to my teammates is my sense of having fun, while also being focused and engaged in whatever we are doing.

Over my 4 years in high school, I’ve been on the honor roll each year, played varsity soccer for 2, and am a captain this year. Next year, I will be attending Michigan State University to pursue a nursing degree. My favorite PVS memories are all the pasta parties we have had together! To all the underclassmen, high school goes by fast, so make the most of it.
