Hello and Welcome to my Ninety Fourth Edition of L25Woolton Times July Edition Magazine Established over 18 Years.

Hope you are all well & safe hopefully moving on with our lives and businesses as we knew it last March 2020.

We will have to get all our businesses back on track after the Pandemic so we will be relying on our local councillors to come up with a plan of how to do this. South Liverpool is always great with lots of ideas to support businesses reopening and promotions in the areas. Please support our Farmers Market on the second Saturday of the month.

We have had a lot on since we last spoke in May – making time fly by I can’t believe it’s almost August. We will be mentioning the C word shortly.

I introduced Margaret’s Market Place in my L15& 16 in February which seems to be gaining popularity popular and this month I have introduced Margaret Reviews which I am delighted to share with you businesses I have sampled and this month enjoyed a beautiful facial @ Jo Beauty and an afternoon tea by Michelle @Short & Sweet Bakery – Highly recommend!!

As everyone has said the flowers cheer people up.

Personally I have to say an extra big thank you to the volunteers who have, and hopefully will continue!, worked so hard to get the planting, watering and maintenance done. Although I order the plants I unfortunately haven’t been do ‘get down and dirty’ planting due to not being physically fit. So all praise to the volunteers.

We do need to start replacing some of our wooden planters which are twenty years old. Unfortunately the replacements will be expensive so either we need to raise more money or have businesses or families sponsor one. We have one on Allerton Road which is a memorial to Phyllis Hardbattle whose garden nearby gave so many people pleasure.

Thank you to all Woolton in Bloom supporters, who have been so positive about the displays in the village!

Friends of Reynolds Park

The Friends continue to work for the good of the Park and over the summer months we will be repainting all the park gates. On September 11th we will celebrate Reynolds Day as part of the national heritage celebration weekend.

Please come and visit our table on that day. The relaxation of restrictions will hopefully enable us to have a meeting to which you are most welcome. The details will be well publicised in the park. MARGARET’S PUBLISHING L25 WOOLTON TIMES LOCALLIBDEMVIEWS Dear Resident, We have previously written about the concerns that local people have for the future of Woolton Hall, particularly following the fire in an adjoining building back in 1999. The grounds have become overgrown, which makes it difficult to see the building, and recent activity by so called ‘urban explorers’ has been a further cause for concern with regard to sort of damage could be getting caused to the building.

We recently reached out to the owners of Woolton Hall and asked to meet with them to discuss the Hall’s future. We were grateful to receive a response from them agreeing to this and we met with them and with their agent at the Hall and were able to discuss the concerns of the local community and any issues with the building itself as we walked around.

The owners are carrying out measures to prevent unlawful entry into the building, and since the last occasion someone entered the building additional measures have been put in place, with some further options that were discussed. The owners are keen to point out that any recent publicity around ‘urban explorers’ being allowed to access the building to take photos has not been with their permission.

In terms of the future of the Hall, planning permission was granted approximately 17 years ago for the change of use for it to become a day centre and sheltered accommodation, and for a four storey building to be erected alongside for use as sheltered apartments. Work on the new building did commence within the required five year period, and it is this building that was subject to the arson attack in 1999. The agents, acting for the owners, are now in discussions with the Planning Department to look at similar proposals that may require an amended planning application; however planning permission from 2004 does still exist.

Whatever is developed alongside Woolton Hall will help to fund the restoration of the Hall itself, which is a requirement of planners in terms of any overall scheme. We write this, not to give any false indication that work is to commence immediately, but to give an update following our meeting with the owners, which we found to be very helpful.

We are now considering the possibility of helping to set up a ‘Friends Group’ for Woolton Hall to help support the future of the building regardless of who the owners are. This is something that we have discussed with the current owners who are open to the idea, and we are presently looking at ways of taking this forward and will update local residents once we have further information.

Woolton residents will have noticed over the past few weeks the appalling amount of weeds that have grown throughout the area, which has been the same across the City, and has generated a large number of complaints to us from residents. We had requested from the council on numerous occasions a copy of the weeding schedule for the area, but this has never been given to us and it left us wondering whether this administration had decided to completely abandon any weeding altogether. We continued to pursue this with the council and have finally been given a date of 21st August by which weed spraying in Woolton will have taken place. This will of course mean that the area will be covered with dead weeds, which will require removal. We will look at ways in which this can be done, either by the council or by organising local clean-up days.

Last year we had started to provide skips throughout the area for local people to use for any unwanted items.

Unfortunately this had to come to a stop because of Covid. We are pleased that we are now able to restart this scheme again, and on Friday 6th August skips will be placed at the following locations (Corner of Orient Drive / Hunts Cross Avenue, Corner of Stockville Road / Druidsville Road, Corner of Grange Lane / Belle Vale Road, Corner of Church Road / Linkstor Road). Once these skips are full they will then be removed, but please do not over fill skips so that rubbish falls off, or leave side waste, as this will defeat the object of having the skips placed to keep areas tidy.

Woolton’s Farmers Market continues to be a success each month, and the next market will take place on Saturday 14th August. Please continue to support the market.

If you are looking for activities for your children or grandchildren over the Summer holidays, Woolton Youth Centre is continuing to run its popular Summer Playscheme. If you would like further details about this, please get in touch with them directly by e-mail to wooltonplayscheme@hotmail.co.uk We are continuing to hold our weekly Advice Surgeries (via Zoom) every Tuesday from 7.00 p.m., and we will once again return to Woolton Youth Centre, High Street, from the beginning of June. LOW VACCINE UPTAKE LOCALLY When COVID-19 first made the news early in 2020, few of us could have predicted that 18 months later we would still be living with guidelines designed to keep everyone as safe as possible, or that scientists would have been able to produce safe and effective vaccines to help protect us from the virus.

However across Liverpool, including in Woolton, vaccine take up is low and lags behind other areas of the country with just 48.5% of eligible adults fully vaccinated up to the end of June. I would encourage everyone who is eligible to get vaccinated. If you can’t get to a vaccination centre please keep an eye out for local drop-in sessions, where you don’t need an appointment to receive your first or second jab.

PUBLIC ADVOCATE BILL NEEDED AFTER THE COLLAPSE OF HILLSBOROUGH TRIALS I was as shocked as people throughout Woolton with the collapse of the final Hillsborough trial recently. This has meant a busy time in Westminster as I spoke in an Opposition Day debate on protecting the public and ensuring justice for victims, as well as tabling an Urgent Question on the trials and developments since their end.

The collapse of these trials ended the last hope for the families and survivors of anyone being held accountable for what happened 32 years ago despite the fact that they were unlawfully killed. The law now needs to change to stop families in future disasters having to face what the Hillsborough families and survivors have faced. That’s why I’m continuing to push for the Public Advocate Bill to be brought into law. It would be a fitting legacy for the dedication and perseverance the Hillsborough families and survivors have shown over the last three decades and for the 96 people lost.

SCHOOL CHILDREN NEED MORE CATCH-UP SUPPORT A year ago we saw chaos for Woolton GCSE and A-level students as they received botched exam grades that had to be revised to be fair and this year we see the government fall short of the budget needed to provide real catch-up Covid support for pupils who have missed so much schooling.

The government’s own catch-up Czar quit his position in May after just £1.4 billion was allocated for catch-up, a tenth of the figure he had asked for. In real terms that means only £310 each for children in Woolton secondary schools and just £22 a child at primary level. In America £1600 per pupil is being spent on catch up support, while in the Netherlands this rises to £2500.

In 2020-21 children lost on average 110 days tuition out of a possible 190, with children from deprived backgrounds often lagging as much as 24 months behind better-off classmates. Without real, effective catch up support those lost days will remain just that. Without real investment in their futures the children who need this support the most risk being left behind once more.

More than two million tonnes of perfectly edible food ends up in landfill in the UK every year, much of it simply because it remained on supermarket shelves after its sell-by date. This is not great for our environment or our planet because after it has been dumped, waste food produces greenhouse gases which contribute to climate change.

South Liverpool Zero Waste Community, based in Allerton and Hunts Cross Ward, is a volunteer-led initiative which collects surplus food from supermarkets that would otherwise be destined for the dump.

ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL ENVIRONMENTAL CLEAN-UP DAY I organised another successful environmental cleanup day at Garway in L25 which proved to be popular amongst residents. I will be organising more at different locations in our community as the easing of lockdown continues.

In the meantime, if you need to get household items removed from your home you can request the Bulky Bob’s service to take the unwanted items away at no cost. The number to ring is 0151 233 3001. It’s a great service and many of the items collected are recycled by being sold off at reasonable prices to people looking for a bargain.

I attended The Extraordinary Council Meeting held on May 19. The meeting was called in response to the Max made at the council by police investigating allegations of bribery and witness intimidation. This report delivered a shocking assessment of how some council departments have been extremely badly run, resulting in Local Government Secretary Robert Jenrick instructing that Whitehall commissioners should be sent in to oversee troubled city council departments for highways, regeneration and property management. The revelations in this report have been devastating for our city. I am keen for the council to root out the bad practices which have brought the city to such a low ebb. We must demand better services while protecting council staff from the culture of bullying and intimidation which was exposed by the Caller Report.

I also spoke up for our neighbourhoods at the Strategic Development and Housing select committee, calling on the council’s regeneration chiefs to take proper account of the importance of our quality of life. Our neighbourhoods have been neglected for too long - you just have to look at grass cutting, cleansing services and the state of our dangerous roads. I will keep reminding officials that the level of investment in our communities and services has a direct impact on our daily lives

Your latest book, Flights of Fantasy recently came out. Can you tell us what inspired it and what it’s about?

I’m pretty sure the inspiration began when I was a kid and Dad used to take me for a Sunday morning stroll through Liverpool City centre, where� the devastation following the Blitz was still very evident, something I found fascinating even at that young age.� Occasionally Dad would show me his collection of watercolours and sketches, many of which he’d created between air raids while serving as a reghter with the Auxiliary Fire Service.

Sadly he died,�relatively young and unexpectedly in 1962, and those lovely pictures were nowhere to be found. Some 30 years later, while taking a last look before leaving the family home, I climbed up to�the loft and found a tea-chest full of old magazines.

Buried beneath them was a cardboard box containing two books; one, an old dog-eared hardbacked exercise book packed with the watercolours and sketches I’d seen as a child. The second was his AFS Training Manual, with his cartoons drawn on blank pages to illustrate the lighter side of his experiences in the re service during the Liverpool Blitz. They were too good to be tucked away at the back of a drawer, unseen and unappreciated, but I was too busy to do anything with them.

When retirement and Spain coincided, I had my chance. Months of research followed and long visits to Ramsgate, where my father was born, and Liverpool where he lived from the age of 14 onwards. Dad, aka George Snr, was born in Ramsgate in 1904. His dad was skipper on a shing smack and�while out with young George Snr aboard, they spotted French aviator Louis Blériot making the rst air crossing of the Channel. It was an experience that inspired George Snr’s life-long passion for

aviation, often reected in his art that began around the same time and continued throughout his life.

It is this slightly naïve, lovely collection of images that adorn the pages of Flights of Fantasy. The lavishly illustrated story follows George Snr through his burgeoning interest in aviation during World War One, his relocation and� life in Liverpool from 1918 to 1962. The evocative memoir recalls the lives of ordinary people in the rst half of the 20th century, the fun, the city, aviators in the Battle of Britain and wartime reghters as they risked their lives ghting the res created by the Luftwaffe during the Merseyside Blitz of 1940-41. All brought to life through the eclectic paintings and sketches of George Snr, beautifully reproduced in this book.

If you had the chance to y a warplane, which one would it be and why?

It’s almost impossible to answer, I’d love to experience the pioneer ying of a Sopwith Camel, or the aerobatics of a Spitre, or the sheer power of the jet ghters. Any would be a dream.

And nally, in your own words, why should people read Flights of Fantasy?

It’s a book everyone can enjoy as it brings to life the roaring 20s, 30s and contrasting dark days of the 40s. Grandparents who lived through some of the events of the early 20th century, young adults who didn’t, but would like to know what it was like.

Readers�with an interest in recent history; people who enjoy looking at pictures complemented with intriguing stories; and folk like you — and me — who enjoy a good yarn. It’s a book that appeals to both sexes.

Abbot’s Lea School student wins art competition included the legendary Church Street busker, Peter!

16-year-old student, Leon, from Abbot’s Lea School has won a citywide competition after impressing the panel of judges with his incredible painting showcasing what Liverpool means to him.

The competition by Liverpool Heartbeat - a children’s charity committed to motivating and inspiring young people to live healthy, productive lifestyles - gives participating schools the chance to win a library of books and promises a gift to every single student taking part. While the library of books was awarded to Woolton High School - a neighbouring specialist school for students with complex social, emotional and mental health needs, Abbot’s Lea School won impressive 3 prizes, too!

This year’s brief asked young people to express what the heart of Liverpool means to them via a drawing, a photograph, a poem, a song, a story or a painting.

Abbot’s Lea School - an outstanding school providing the highest quality of specialist holistic education for students aged 3-19 living with Autism and a range of associated communication, interaction, social imagination, sensory and learning differences - was keen to enter the competition in a bid to showcase the diverse creative abilities of its 272 students.

With so many wonderful entries, Abbot’s Lea staff had the difficult job choosing just three submissions to put forward.

The specialist school selected Leon’s

acrylic painting which features iconic elements of the city including the Beatles, the Radio City tower, Liverpool FC, and the Superlambanana.

Staff also selected a poem by a 14-yearold student, Lexie. Her creative poem called ‘The Meaning of Liverpool’ describes in detail what the city means to her.

The Meaning of Liverpool I can’t put it into words how this city makes me feel.

It’s a beautiful feeling, really, when I get a moment to myself to enjoy the scenery.

This city makes everything in it a work of art.

Be it a stormy day or a cloudless night, it’s perfect.

Trees and flowers, buildings and lights.

Holding your head up high, through rain and thunder.

Pushing through, even when you think you can’t. Even when it hurts to try.

But you can pull through.

And you relish in the golden sky above you in victory, as you think about how lucky you are to live in a city like this.

Marvelling at the giant birds that watch over us, as guardians of the land and sea.

This city is a tapestry of art and culture, with people of all different religions and races and backgrounds coming together to scream and cheer like mad-lads at a football game, happy chaos everywhere.

Lastly, a drawing by 10-year-old student, Jacob was put forward for the competition. His sketch of the key landmarks and famous people from Liverpool even

The competition received over 5000 entries and the judges selected Leon as the overall winner in the specialist school category. He will receive a bespoke illustration of himself as a superhero in front of the school created by Tim Quinn, Marvel editor and illustrator.

Lexie was awarded third prize, whilst Jacob won a special commendation prize.

The rest of the school received a box of gifts including The Tom Murphy Liverpool Sculpture Trail map and 10 Liverpool Statues Comic books.

An awards ceremony is due to be held in the autumn at Bluecoat to honour those who entered and to showcase their hard work.

Mrs Ania Hildrey, the headteacher of Abbot’s Lea School, said: “I am absolutely overjoyed to have our students’ talents recognised in this city-wide competition!

It was a really difficult decision to choose which pieces of art we put forward to Liverpool Heartbeat as we were overwhelmed with the entries from those age 3-19, with many showing exceptional artistic talents. Having considered every single piece, we felt Leon, Lexie and Jacob really captured the essence of the city and fulfilled the brief that was set by the competition. Their pieces resonated with us and were both joyful, profound and very moving.

“A huge congratulations to Leon for achieving first place – it is truly well deserved. His painting is simply breath-taking and the level of detail in the piece is impeccable. A massive well done to Lexie and Jacob, too – their pieces really demonstrate their sheer talent and we are so proud of their achievements. To all others who entered – thank you and remember: never give up on yourself or others – there will be other competitions coming up!”

We can then simply put you down for automatic delivery and you will receive your medication within 24 hours of us receiving your prescription.

Our blister packs are available for any patients who are having trouble taking their medication due to underlying health conditions such as dementia, dexterity issues or their GP has recommended that they should start on them. Blister packs are packs where the medications are all popped out and placed into slots for the recommended times and days the patient needs to takes them. This ensures the patients are not forgetting to take any of their medication. Simply contact the pharmacy and one of the team will be happy to help.

Wall of Sound Community Choir is looking to build and reconnect the local community through song.No matter your age, ability or experience, there is a place for you here. Singing has always had roots in community, and over the pandemic we’ve had to pull together even more to make it through. This community choir is a great way to let off some steam, see and connect with people outside of the workplace, and start to build something that will be integral to the community through performances and fundraising.

Organised and led by Grace Allwood, an experienced singing teacher of over 10 years. Grace found her love for singing while in school choirs, and continued to perform and sing in choirs throughout her education and career.

She now runs a thriving private music tuition business, as well as teaching singing at Gateacre School, and co-running a choir in Crewe. Grace is passionate about the community that can be built around shared experience, a love of music, and the fun that can be had while learning new skills.

Since our last meeting on Tuesday 6th July 2021 we have met in small controlled group at both Reynolds Park & Simpson ground for crafts etc.but have kept in touch on various WI whatsapp and our latest WI Macramé and with monthly cards & letters from our president Angela Birkenhead, hand delivered by the committee members.

We have felt in touch with all our WI friends, complying with all the government rules but can see the end of the tunnel now - hopefully we can meet in person from September and maybe have a new location for our real in person monthly meetings at Woolton Golf Club.

Our Committee have met on monthly zoom meetings which have proved excellent and made it now possible to offer these to our 100+ members on a monthly basis with a guest speaker and different activities on the agenda for all members to be part of. With us getting to know more about how zoom works we continue to have our committee and members meetings and can now go into breakout room and chat with other members - how marvellous this zoom has proved to be, I am sure all our members appreciate catching up with their WI friends. We have now introduced various craft workshops for all our members to attend and this month introduced a Macramé class which have proved very popular under the instruction of our Macramé tutor Marje Cooney. Our speakers programme is now complete for the remainder of the year which includes a wide range of varied excellent speakers from Mel’s Chutney & Jam Maker/Faye the cheese Maker and My Mad Life by Michelle Beaver for us all to enjoy.

We are almost ready for our August break rounding off with our annual Afternoon Tea - reality in Reynolds Park!

A Message from your Labour Team Dear Residents, As many of you will know, we’re experiencing a surge in Coronavirus cases. If you have a fever, cough or a loss or change in smell or taste, please do get tested and follow any guidance given about selfisolating.

The vaccine programme is continuing its rollout to even more people in the community. Here in Liverpool vaccinations are being offered to all those aged 18 and over, as well as those aged 16-64 in an at-risk group. If you are currently eligible to receive a vaccination you are able to make an appointment by calling 119 or by visiting here: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/book-coronavirus-vaccination/ Although the Coronavirus is at the forefront of our minds, we wanted to tell you a bit more about some of the work we’re doing in our community. As your representatives, we’ve secured record levels of road investment for the area, with over £6 million of local road resurfacing work either completed or due to take place — and we’re actively lobbying for the work to start on roads such as Speke Road, Hunts Cross Avenue and Manor Road. Our hugely popular, and free community skip

scheme continues, (introduced by Labour and since 2019 alone, we’ve provided more than 150 free skips!) — and we’ve also been out delivering free litter pickers to businesses and individuals, encouraging everyone to get involved in the Great British Spring Clean.

Most recently, we’ve worked with Hunts Cross Children’s Centre and the Dolly Parton Imagination Library to deliver free, monthly books to local families, (over the years we’ve funded almost 1,000 free books through the scheme!). We’ve also been out to visit the Bellway Estate with Merseyside Police and the management company, to discuss how we can work together to improve the estate for residents — and we’ve paid visits to both All Souls Church in Allerton, to see how they’ve made use of funding we secured for youth activities and green initiatives, and to Merseyside Youth Challenge Trust to support their fantastic work with young people in Allerton Towers.

Lastly, we’re so pleased that after Merseytravel listened to our calls, we can see work taking place on the installation of two brand new lifts at Hunts Cross Rail Station. This investment has been long awaited and will be huge step towards making the

station fully accessible.

THE WOOLTON SOCIETY The Woolton Society has held talks online via Zoom for the past months, which has been very successful in terms of excellent speakers & audience numbers. It is hoped that meetings will again be held in St Mary’s hall when the Autumn programme begins in September, although it is realised that the online talks have been very popular with our long distance members. The society is waiting for word from the archdiocese, & also for government guidelines as to how & when groups will be able to meet up again in person. Members will be kept informed of all developments.

The Autumn programme of talks has been drawn up, with Wednesday 15th September at 7.30pm seeing Chris Tigwell speaking on the Rainhill Trials of 1829. These trials were a pivotal moment in locomotive history, when five engines were tested for use on the Liverpool to Manchester railway, which was then under construction. Stephenson’s Rocket was the only one to complete the course.

On Thursday 21st October at 3pm the West Derby Society’s Stephen Guy will be speaking on forgotten Liverpool, aristocracy & merchants.

The 49th AGM will be held on Wednesday 17th November at 7.30pm. It is hoped that as many members as possible will be able to attend, as one item under discussion will be the Woolton Society’s 50th anniversary in 2022.

BEE-LIEVE IN A BETTER WOOLTON ~ Dominic & Rhiannon Knower Many local residents will be familiar with the “Bee House” on High Street, Woolton featuring a bee nest box and an information board illustrating a variety of different bee species. After many conversations being sparked on their doorstep, bee enthusiast Dominic and his wife, Rhiannon are keen to share their personal interests in sustainability and biodiversity with the wider community. They have recently been working on a bee garden feature for Woolton Woods (High Street entrance) that will be installed ready for people to enjoy this summer. The area has been seeded with 28 British wildflower species and will feature a variety of novel bee nesting habitats for solitary bee species and two information boards packed full of fascinating illustrations and facts.

The couple have also formed BUGS Liverpool (Biodiversity, Urban Greenspace and Sustainability), a group that was primarily formed with the aim of delivering biodiversity improvements in the Woolton area and sharing tips and guidance on where to observe local wildlife and plants of interest.

With the increasing importance of environmental issues, Dominic and Rhiannon are looking to expand the remit of the group and would love to hear from any local individuals or businesses who would be interested in joining a forum to drive the sustainability agenda in Woolton for the benefit of the local community and environment.

10years ago Jo decided to train as a Beauty Consultant and qualified to the highest standard with a distinction * at Hugh Baird College in Bootle, she trained at Perfection in the Salisbury Lodge Woolton Village to gain all the experience she needed to set up her own business based in Aurora Sun which is situated at 1 Merrivale Road L25 5NA. Jo has a private room within Aurora offering Eye Treatments, Massages, Wax Treatments and Facials. Her room is great with soothing angel music playing and an oil burner with calming fragrances what a perfect setting for beauty treatments by Jo. At her nailbar Jo offers a variety of manicures and pedicures at very reasonable prices just £25 Inc shellac finish or shellac polish on its own for £15 per set.

Opening Hours are Mon-Fri 9am til 9pm.Sat- 9am til 7.30pm &Sun 10am til 6pm.

Within Aurora there are 2 private sunbed rooms available for hire and a shower room.

Jo is also a body shop consultant and people can come sample the products and purchase them from her directly.

TASTING REVIEW by Margaret This was a review I would not miss and I had the pleasure of a Short & Sweet Afternoon Tea by Michelle which I have to say was delicious and I would highly recommend you to try it.

Sandwiches – they were so fresh & tasty with a choice of 3 fillings and 3 types of bread – I chose ham & coleslaw on a granary bread along with homemade sausage rolls or vegetarian rolls were available Michelle makes a variety of quiches with a choice of – cheese & onion or cheese& tomato or quiche lorraine all homemade – my choice was cheese & onion.

We then moved onto the cakes and I had a scone with jam and cream, strawberry shortcake and a piece of lemon drizzle cake. The cost of all this was just £15 and I have to say “A BARGAIN” for a lovely treat for yourself, friends and family.

NOW THE TREATMENT… I can highly recommend this.!

Today I had the experience of a 45mins Rejuvenation one facial treatment by Kaseo which consisted of a superficial cleanse which removes excess oil and make up from the surface of the skin. Jo then gave me a deep cleanse going into layers of the epidermis (skin) and followed by an exfoliation to remove dead skin cells and help purify the skin and unclog facial pores. A mask of enriched dead sea mud was applied to the skin to stimulate the circulation and boost skin regeneration and promote a smoother cleaner complexion. Hot towels were then applied to both remove the mask and open pores aiding deep penetration.

Finally to finish my facial a massage to my face, neck and shoulders was given – I can only describe this as a wonderful treatment and with Jo’s gentle touch providing the whole experience was wonderful!

Beechley Stables, continues to slowly emerge from the Covid Pandemic by bringing riders back on a phased basis.

Whilst it may be some time before we have fully resumed trading, we have a calendar of events which enable us to continue with fundraising activities to support our ongoing costs.

These activities which have recently been sell out sessions, include Morning Coffee with the Ponies, Afternoon Tea with the Ponies and back by popular demand on Friday 30 July and Friday 20 August you will be able to meet Cocco & Truffles the friendly Alpacas who will be bringing along a number of furry friends with them including Goats, Sheep, Rabbits, Tortoise etc.

SUMMER FAYRE AT BEECHEY STABLES Saturday 31 July open 10am-4pm free admittance Independent Woolton traders selling their goods.
