H20 Fitness: Water Aerobics for Adults
Dive right into our aqua classes! Water exercise is a fun way to boost your cardiovascular health and strength. It is also a great way to work on flexibility. The water’s buoyancy and resistance allow you to exercise in a low-impact environment. Water exercise can be an excellent form of exercise for individuals who have back pain, arthritis, and diabetes. Heartsaver CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (6th Grade and Up)
The Driver Improvement course is a state approved accident prevention/insurance discount course that is open to the public; preregistration is required. A MN Highway Safety & Research Center certified instructor teaches this class. By utilizing the most up-todate research in the field, participants will be provided the latest information in regards to driver and traffic safety, new laws, and vehicle technology. This class has something for everyone! Persons age 55 and older who complete the course qualify for a 10% discount on their auto insurance premiums for three years, according to Minnesota law. We are very excited to now operate the “Summer Rec” programs previously offered by the City of La Crescent. You’ll note some fee changes over what the City charged in the past, due to rising costs of operations. We are so fortunate to have hired roughly two-thirds of the past coaches, and they are receiving well deserved raises! We have also balanced fees across the programs based on whether they include t-shirts and games in addition to practices.

Girls & Boys Grades 1-4
Join the Lancer Boys and Girls Basketball teams this summer for some exciting time on the court! All kids interested in basketball are invited to join us! Players will learn basic skills, fundamentals and techniques of the game; such as shooting, passing and ball handling along with team concepts, all while having fun! This camp is co-ed. Bring water bottles!
Future Lancer Soccer Camp
Girls & Boys Grades 1-4
Join new Soccer Varsity Head Coach Jenny LaRue and her team to learn the basic skills of soccer and practice teamwork. The camp provides a great opportunity to improve coordination and participate in fun soccer games and activities. Players should wear shin guards and cleats if they have them, and bring a water bottle!

The Lancer high school wrestling team and coaches, as well as Mat Club Youth coaches, are once again teaming up to bring young wrestlers the chance to sharpen their grappling skills! The young wrestlers will have a chance to learn and refine basic skills and fundamentals of the sport, as well as sportsmanship and the importance of a team All kids interested in wrestling are welcome! La Crescent- Hokah Community Education and Appleseed Community Theater Present:
Camp Kids On Stage!
A dynamic youth program to introduce our youngest community members to the world of theater! Community Education and Appleseed Community Theater have teamed up once again to bring this unique experience to kinds ranging in age from entering first grade though entering ninth grade
This is a three week immersion program teaching the basics of theatre, common terminology, and processes. Students will learn about the auditioning process and then get to audition for their parts in the show. Students will be divided into smaller groups by age to learn and rehearse the script and music. Students will meet daily for rehearsals from 1:00pm - 4:00pm. *Pleaseregisterforonlyonecamp.*
A team from Appleseed Community Theatre, high school theatre students, musicians, choreographers, Community Education staff and more will all be assisting with this program! Location is the La Crescent-Hokah Schools Fine Arts Center

CancellationPolicy
We realize that schedules are busy, but your early registration assures that your class is a “Go.”
Class Cancellation Policy and Refunds Prior to Start Date: Class cancellation must be made a minimum of 3 working days prior to the class start date for a FULL REFUND (unless otherwise noted)
If you cancel with less than 3 days notice, you will be issued a refund, minus a $5 00 processing fee and any costs incurred (supplies, food etc )
If you do not notify Community Education prior to start of the class that you will not be attending, you will not be issued a refund.

If you are unable to attend the class, event or trip that you registered for, please call us at 895-5150
We may have a waiting list, so please do not find your own substitutes
By registering for a program, I understand that every effort will be made to protect and safeguard all students. I agree not to hold La Crescent-Hokah School District/ ISD 300 liable for any illness or mishap from any cause whatsoever. I also give the instructors/supervisors full authority in dealing with the problems of discipline. I understand that any student disregarding rules is subject to being sent home. I understand that any student who willfully destroys property will be held responsible and charged accordingly. I give ISD 300 permission to use comments, photos and video of the registered participant(s) in its promotional materials.
