Description

Crown Square comprises a 12.5acre mixed use development which will include Office, Hotel, Retail and Residential uses. The site will incorporate a central square, landscaped with native planting and natural materials, which will serve as a focal point for Crown Square.

Description

This transformative regeneration project in the heart of Dublin 2 is a mixed use development includes residential blocks with 175 apartments and 45,000m² of retail and office areas, as well as extensive basement with a feature central square. Block 3, which consisted of 79 social housing units and community amenities on Charlemont Street, Dublin 2 was delivered ahead of schedule allowing early occupation for tenants.

LU2ON is a £170m major new residential led mixed-use development close to Luton Parkway Station. Phase 1 ‘LU2ON Union’ (£62m) is a new build part 9, 10 and 11 storey building comprising 401 quality residential units, retail and gym commercial space. The completed LU2ON development will comprise of 685no. residential apartments, a hotel, retail and leisure outlets and a large new landscaped public park at the centre of the scheme.

The building site was confined and occured in live university campus close to other student residences to the East and mature residential dwellings beyond the northern boundary.

This project represents Phase 2 of a substantial initiative by NUI Galway to develop a commercially viable, modern, appealing and environmentally friendly student accommodation on campus. The scheme will be arranged in four blocks with Block A ranging from four to eight storeys, Block B and D comprising six storeys, Block C comprising four storeys

This project involved the design, buld and fitt-out of four multistorey accommodation blocks set around landscaped courtyards with 429 bedspaces. Further communal areas & facilities, ancillary office/ reception accommodation, internal plant/service rooms, refuse storage and covered cycle storage facilities are also provided to serve the entire development.

Description

‘Block D’ is a residential block with 455 bedrooms, ranging from 6 to 10 storeys and ‘Block E’ has 409 bedrooms, ranging from 5 to 7 storeys, along with a multi-purpose two storey ‘Fulcrum’ building housing an auditorium, restaurant, retail, gym, meeting rooms and offices. The project also includes a 5 storey residential block containing 60 studio apartments. The overriding major success for this project was that it provided just under 1000 beds in time for the start of the university year.
