What clients say

It was reassuring to engage and work with such an experienced and confident main contractor. JJ Rhatigan’s reputation for construction excellence was backed up with the delivery of this demanding and complex build with an equally demanding programme. The level of collaboration and partnership achieved with JJ Rhatigan was truly unique and meant that throughout the project there was open dialogue and review, resulting in bespoke considered solutions, ultimately providing both Dublin City Council and ourselves with the optimum outcome”

MCGARRELL REILLY, CLIENT

BLOCK 3 - FFRENCH-MULLEN HOUSE, CHARLEMONT STREET, DUBLIN 2

We are extremely happy with the outcome of this project. The ten month programme was particularly challenging yet JJ Rhatigan delivered the building to us ahead of schedule for early occupation. This facility has enhanced our visibility and presence, both in the Irish market and globally within Teleflex, and has strengthened our employer brand when attracting new talent to work with us in Athlone.”

BRENDAN MORAN, SITE LEADER TELEFLEX MEDICAL, GLOBAL OPERATIONS & INTERNATIONAL HEADQUARTERS, ATHLONE, CO. WESTMEATH

Trinity Business School is extremely proud to have recently opened its new 14,000 sq.m Business School, which is our first NZEB building and designed to BREEAM Excellent. Opened by An Taoiseach on 2nd May 2019, on budget and on schedule, this project was constructed in the tightest of fiscal and physical spaces. Trinity was delighted to select JJ Rhatigan & Company as the main contractor, following an extensive EU public procurement competition. The final account was settled immediately upon completion in a cordial and professional manner, in line with the project expectations. The quality of the finished product is exceptional and JJ Rhatigan & Company are responsive to the requirements of the University to allow fit-out (by others) and recent opening of our new Forum 200-seat restaurant in the new building and to complete the minor snags in an efficient and effective manner. Conducting large contracts in Dublin City at this time is extremely difficult due to supply-chain and logistical pinchpoints, but JJ Rhatigan kept clear and objective targets under control and the client well informed of issues as they arose and implications, confirming once again that JJ Rhatigan & Company in our view are in the top tier of contractors for major projects.”

GREG POWER, HEAD OF CAPITAL PROJECTS & PLANNING TRINITY COLLEGE, DUBLIN

One of the largest Capital Projects delivered on campus and indeed recently in the city, JJ Rhatigan & Company managed and delivered this important project within a very tight timeframe. Completion for the start of this academic year was critical to ensure the provision of much needed housing for our student body. Its completion was a significant milestone. The JJR team worked diligently on a seven-day schedule for the final 6-8 weeks and the on-site management are to be strongly commended for their cooperativeness and flexibility throughout.”

ANN DUGGAN, DIRECTOR COMMERCIAL SERVICES GOLDCREST VILLAGE STUDENT ACCOMMODATION

We appointed JJ Rhatigan & Company as the Main Contractor / PSCS on the Medtronic Customer Innovation Centre, Parkmore, Galway. Throughout the project JJ Rhatigan & Company have been extremely efficient in providing all necessary documentation to both the LEED consultant and Medtronic Vascular. JJ Rhatigan & Company demonstrated an excellent knowledge of the LEED process and the LEED online upload programme. I would highly recommend JJ Rhatigan & Company who have delivered a high quality, sensitive project on time to the hightest safety standards, fully compliant with stringent LEED parameters”

PAUL FORREST, SNR FACILITIES ENGINEER

MEDTRONIC VASCULAR GALWAY LTD.

Limerick Twenty Thirty DAC (LTT) is a special purpose vehicle company of Limerick City and County Council tasked with developing iconic, strategic sites in Limerick City and County as anchors for enterprise, investment and residential development. Gardens International Office is our 100,000 sq. ft. development and is our first LEED Gold office building. LTT was delighted to select JJ Rhatigan & Company as the main contractor, following an extensive EU public procurement competition. The development is an excellent example of what can be achieved with a constructive collaborative approach between the contractor, sub-contractors and the project design partners. The meticulous attention to detail is evident in the beautifully restored original ‘Hanging Gardens’ building through to the circulation areas and planted garden terraces, which have been seamlessly integrated into the scheme. The quality of the finished product is exceptional. JJ Rhatigan & Company were responsive to the requirements of LTT to allow fit-out while completing the minor snags in an efficient and effective manner. The team from JJ Rhatigan & Company delivered the project from selection to final commissioning and handover. They espoused the very best of what the construction industry can offer with high quality technical management, working with a true spirit of collaboration.”
