President’s Message
“And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at His birth. And He will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God.”
– Luke 1:14,16
Advent is a season of preparation and waiting for the celebration of Jesus' birth at Christmas. God Almighty has this year too, allowed Men’s Voice & Choral Society, Kuwait to set the pace for advent, as our team dedicatedly offers you the “Christmas festival of Praise” carol night.
The grace of God has brought us to the 18th year of choral singing in Kuwait and continues to use us as a channel for charity projects in India. The devastating floods that have wreaked havoc in our home state of Kerala during August 2018 has left many in deplorable condition. Men’s Voice & Choral Society has extended financial help to ten such souls, in a humble way. In 2017, we were able to construct and hand over a house to Mr. Mathai Thomas of Thalavady, Kerala through our project – A Home for Homeless. We place on record, our sincere thanks to each and everyone who have partnered with us in prayer and financial contribution.
Another milestone is made in the history of our journey, this year. The newly formed junior choir will perform songs along with us and proclaim God’s perfect gift for mankind – Jesus Christ.
On behalf of Men’s Voice Kuwait & Choral Society, I wish you all a blessed Christmas and a prosperous, happy New Year.

The world was once a land of peace and justice; With sin... came darkness, took away all the goodness; love dried up; peace disappeared; justice became a joke and mankind was doomed. There was no hope for the lost human race .In the midst of the pitch dark world there arose a bright shining star, bringing the news of the birth of a savior ,who came not to judge but to give new life. What a glorious night! A night that mankind ever witnessed nor will witness again. For heaven and earth rejoiced over the birth of Jesus. With him came the promise that all sins will be forgiven; he gave peace that passeth all understanding, love that endureth, justice that prevailth, hope that is everlasting and eternal life. It was a night that the glory of God came down that saved mankind with the simple formula... BELIEVE...YOU WILL BE SAVED..and that no money or wisdom or power can take it.And here Men's Voice and Choral Society brings to you that night.... What a glorious night!
It's 18 years since Men's Voice and Choral Society have been setting a trend in ringing the bell of Christmas season with their heavenly music in the land of black gold. ABIDE WITH ME
(Men’s Voice & Choral Society)
Lyrics by Henry F. Lyte, 1820
Music by William H. Monk, 1861
Abide with me; fast falls the eventide; The darkness deepens; Lord, with me abide; When other helpers fail and comforts ee, Help of the helpless, Oh, abide with me.
I need Thy presence every passing hour; What but Thy grace can foil the tempter’s power? Who, like Thyself, my guide and stay can be? Through cloud and sunshine, Lord, abide with me. Amen.

ALL ON A BETHLEHEM NIGHT
(Men’s Voice & Choral Society)
Words by John Parker Music by Joel Raney
One quiet night when all was still A weary couple came to town And in a stall up on a hill Great with child the girl lay down.
And there was born the unde led The Son of God, a tiny Child. And Mary sang her praise to God.
All on a Bethlehem night. Alleluia what a night! Alleluia, what a sight! Alleluia, Christ is born! All on a Bethlehem night. (Chorus)
Out in the eld that special night, Shepherds watching o’er their sheep Saw in the sky a piercing light, An angel woke them from their sheep. “Be not afraid ,” the Angel said, “For lying in a manger bed is Chirst the Lord, Born unto you.”
All on a Bethlehem night. (Chorus)
That holy night when Christ was born, God in the esh came down to man, This simple Child, salvation’s born Is now become redemption’s plan. For on the night when God came down, He laid aside his Heav’nly crown and Took on esh to bear my sin.
All on a Bethlehem night. (Chorus)

Holy Highway (Men’s Voice)
Words and music by Ginger Hendricks Arr.by The Gaither Vocal Band
There's a road called the holy highway that once was a desert land. Very soon you'll hear the sound of a holy marching band. Everlasting joy upon them, there's a remnant strong and true. We bring the song back to Zion; we bring the praise back to You.
We exalt You, God Almighty, You are worthy to be praised. Let all nations bow before You, Holy Ancient of all days.
There's a road called the holy highway, where the people dance and shout. For the enemy is running with confusion all about. Raise your banners sing the victory; raise them high His word is true. We bring our song back to Zion, We bring the praise back to you.
We exalt You, God Almighty, You are worthy to be praised. Let all nations bow before You, Holy Ancient of all days.
Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty. Holy, holy holy is the Lord. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah.
There's a road called the holy highway that once was a desert land. Very soon you'll hear the sound of a holy marching band and. Everlasting joy upon them, there's a remnant strong and true. We bring the song back to Zion; We bring the praise back to you.
WE HAVE SEEN HIS STAR (Men’s Voice)
Words and music by Bill Batstone
Arranged by Doug Holck T.T.B.B.arr.by Marty Parks
We have seen His star, rising in the night. Followed it to nd the king who came to bring the ray of light. Underneath its beams, He was born to night. And we’ll worship Him. We’ll worship Him. We’ll worship Him this night.
Tho’ we traveled far, to our journeys end, We have found the greatest hope the world won’t be the same again. We have seen his star; We have seen the light! And we’ll worship Him. We’ll worship him. We’ll worship Him this night.
We have seen His star; We have seen the light! And we’ll worship Him. We’ll praise the new born King of kings. We will praise Him with the gifts we bring. We will worship Him this night. We will worship Him.

THE COMING OF THE LORD (Men’s Voice & Choral Society) Words and Music by Pepper Choplin
Lift up your heads O gates, and make the highway straight. Prepare to celebrate the coming of the Lord. Your waiting soon will end, Gods glory will descend, Rise up and welcome in the coming of the Lord, The coming of the Lord! Prepare the way for the coming of the Lord! (2) The ancient words fore-tell, God with us, He will dwell, Christ our Emmanuel, and all will see the glory of the Lord!
O come, O come, Emmanuel, and ransom captive Israel. And then the deaf will hear, the blind will see him clear, The mute will nd their voice, the lame will leap for joy Prepare the way for the coming of the Lord!
Rejoice, Rejoice Emmanuel our God will come to us. Prepare the way for the coming of the Lord!

Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht, Alles schläft; einsam wacht Nur das traute hochheilige Paar. Holder Knabe im lockigen Haar, Schlaf in himmlischer Ruh! Schlaf in himmlischer Ruh!
Silent night, Holy night Shepherds quake at the sight! Glories stream from heaven a-far, Heavenly hosts-sing Al-le-lu-ia; Christ, the Saviour, is born, Christ, the Saviour, is born.
