When leisure is your profession
Als mensen aan mij vragen waarom ik zo gelukkig word van mijn baan, antwoord ik altijd: omdat vrije tijd m’n werk is. Dat is in de kern waar het bij HISWARECRON om draait. We zijn de ondernemersorganisatie van bedrijven in de watersport en recreatie en werken simpel gezegd aan een mooier Nederland. We behartigen de belangen van circa 2.500 jachtbouw-, watersport- en recreatieondernemers en lobbyen op regionaal, nationaal en internationaal niveau. Daarnaast ondersteunen we hen met producten en diensten. Dat doen we aan de hand van vijf speerpunten. Aan het woord is Geert Dijks, directeur HISWA-RECRON.
When people ask me why my job makes me so happy, I always answer: because my leisure time is my profession. That is essentially what HISWA-RECRON is all about. We are the entrepreneurial organisation of companies in water sports and recreation and, simply put, we work on making The Netherlands more beautiful. We represent the interests of approximately 2,500 yacht building, water sports and recreation entrepreneurs and lobby at regional, national and international level. We also support them with products and services. We do this on the basis of five focal points. Geert Dijks, director of HISWARECRON, explains.
Leefomgeving Veel leden verkopen niet alleen een dienst of product, maar verkopen ook de omgeving. Watersporters kopen boten om te varen in de natuur. De afhankelijkheid van de omgeving is van groot belang.
Living environment Many members not only sell a service or product, but also sell the surroundings. Water sports enthusiasts buy boats to sail in nature. The dependence on the surroundings is of great importance.
Duurzaamheid De klimaattop, de EU-natuurwetgeving en het aankomende Nederlandse Nationaal Milieu Plan zijn belangrijke thema’s die relevant zijn voor ondernemers in de watersport- en recreatiesector.
Sustainability The climate summit, EU nature legislation and the upcoming Dutch National Environmental Plan are important themes that are relevant for entrepreneurs in the water sports and recreation sector.
Wet- en regelgeving De overheid maakt veel wetten en regels. Vaak zijn die niet goed toepasbaar op de watersport- en recreatiesector, bijvoorbeeld vanwege het seizoenskarakter en het verblijf van derden op het terrein.
Laws and regulations The government makes many laws and regulations. These are often not well applicable to the water sports and recreation sector, for example because of the seasonal nature and the presence of third parties onsite.
Kwaliteit Ondernemers die zijn aangesloten bij HISWA-RECRON zijn kwaliteitsbedrijven. Ze hanteren door de SER goedgekeurde algemene leveringsvoorwaarden met een geschillenregeling en een nakomingsgarantie. Daarmee zijn onze leden een HISWA en/of RECRON Erkend Bedrijf.
Quality Entrepreneurs affiliated with HISWA-RECRON are quality companies. They use general delivery conditions approved by the SER with a dispute settlement and a compliance guarantee. This makes our members a HISWA and/or RECRON Recognised Company.
