TeacherAppreciation Day
Teachers Appreciation Day started in 2015 by D&M Coffee and Jerrol’s as a way to share our love of our local Teachers. On the Last Tuesday of September, 9/26, D&M Coffee, Corner Stone Pie, Jerrol’s and other local businesses will donate a percentage of their sales to the Teachers Appreciation Fund. The entire list of participating businesses can be found at Love.Jerrols.com
The fund is distributed through Jerrol’s beginning the following Tuesday 10/3. Each teacher that stops by receives a FREE $25 in purchases at Jerrol’s along with a 15% discount. It is first come first serve and school ID is required. Teachers will be able to reserve their spots at Teacher.Jerrols.com. If they purchase over $25 they still get the 15% discount on the entire amount.
This can be used for anything at Jerrol’s or that can be ordered. It can be used for their classroom or for them personally. There are no restrictions.

ADay in the Life of a Jerrol’s Delivery Driver
By Brook Buckingham
When I first started working at Jerrol’s, I’ll admit that I had no idea we delivered to businesses. The scope of what our delivery drivers do is actually pretty large. Our drivers don’t just deliver the supplies, they anticipate need, organize shelves and, if you want, they’ll do the ordering for you. When our drivers bring the items to a business, they put everything away, they make sure everything is easy to grab and they take away any unnecessary packaging to recycle.
Recently, I followed along with our driver, Corrie, who was putting the final touches on one of our biggest orders of the year Every summer, Corrie coordinates with the Kittitas Events Center to make sure the fairgrounds are stocked with plenty of janitorial supplies, so the only thing you have to worry about at the fair is, “should I have another elephant ear”. By the way, the answer is always yes!
Everything you see in the picture below had to head to the fairgrounds and that meant it had to be loaded by forklift into our super van.
All titles are available in store or online at store.jerrols.com You can reach Amy at amy@jerrols.com
As you can imagine, it takes a lot of toilet paper to get through four days of fair and rodeo fun!
Corrie’s been a team member at Jerrol’s for 13 years and helped develop the magic that is our “Rapid Response” delivery system. We can handle your returns, any special orders and we’ll recycle all of your old ink cartridges.
If you see one of our delivery drivers around town, give us a wave and feel free to ask us how we can help you

How many of you are planning to make a quilt from old T-shirts? Someday, right? I have a whole bin full of sentimental items of clothing that are gonna end up in this quilt. Try this instead, T-shirt Art. Staple your favorite clothes to a stretched canvas and hang it on your wall to be enjoyed today.
Here's what you'll need:
Old T-shirt or other article of clothing
Stretched canvas
Staple gun and staples
Scissors
1. Pick out the fabric you want to use and choose a stretched canvas of similar size. I used an old sweatshirt and a scarf.
2.
2. Cut your fabric with to fit over your stretched canvas 2 -3 inches of hangover on each side.
3. Staple your fabric to the back of your stretched canvas. (Make sure it is straight of course) Do parallel sides first, and leave the corners until the end.

“I felt like somebody with lots of money and power who had a concierge assigned to me alone. None other than Mr. Rolf himself searched with me to find exactly the art supplies I needed. His help turned a mundane trip to get a few necessary art supplies into a fun experience. Really, this shop never ever disappoints me!”
