Swing by Jerrol’s on Sunday, February 9th, any me between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM to make a Valen ne’s Day card! Whether you’re crea ng a hear elt masterpiece for someone special or diving into the fun of our Community Valen ne Swap, we’ve got you covered.
Here’s how the swap works, if you want to par cipate but can’t stay at the event to make a card with us: make a card, pop it in an envelope with a stamp if you are hoping to just drop it off, and leave the address blank. Then put your address on a s cker (we will have these available at the event). We’ll sprinkle a li le Valen ne’s magic, randomly address the cards, and mail them out the next day! Think of it as Cupid's mailroom, but its just Amy with glue s cks and a lot of gli er.
This all-ages, all-smiles event is co-hosted by Jerrol’s and Ki tas County Pride. It’s totally free to join, though a $1-$5 dona on would be super sweet to help cover cra supplies and postage.
So, grab a friend, bring your crea vity, and let’s cra up some kindness for our community this month. We can’t wait to see you there! -Rolf

Pre y Envelopes for Valen ne's Day
With Valen ne's Day just around the corner, why not send a real le er using the actual Post Office? Maybe someone you know needs to hear an "I love you" or " You make my life be er" from you this month. Here are some pre y envelopes you can make for this fun idea. You can make this cra with us on Feb 9th if you come to the Valen ne event!
Supplies: à A blank envelope (as your template) à Pre y paper à Scissors à Glue à Ruler
1. Start by unfolding your envelope and tracing it onto your choice of pre y paper. I used old book pages, magazine pages, and scrap paper. You could also use wrapping paper, wall paper, or newspaper.
2. Cut out your new envelopes.
3. Using the ruler, fold each side in to make the shape of your envelope
4. Glue the side flaps and fold up your bo om edge to make your envelope.
5. Add a small note or valen ne and put it in the mail to make someone else's day special.
