Felt Alphabet Ornaments
Christmas is just around the corner and I can't wait. This year I decided my adult children needed their stockings to be bedazzled a bit. So I made a le er/ ornament for each one.
Here's how I did it and what you'll need: Felt
Le er template (I found one on Pinterest or you can use a le er stencil)
Scissors
Embroidery thread and needle
Scissors
Stuffing
Bedazzling items (pompoms, beads, bu ons etc)
Ribbon
Cut out your template and trace your le er onto your felt two mes. One is for the front and one for the back.
2. Cut out both pieces of felt.
3. Bedazzle your le er with your needle and thread. Sew on your beads, or pompoms, or draw a pa ern and s tch it on.
4. A er your le er is to your liking, place it on top of the unbedazzled le er and get ready to s tch it together around the edges.
5. Place a loop of ribbon at the top (for hanging) and make sure to sew it in between the layers of felt as you sew around the edges
6. When you've sewn almost all the way around your le er add some stuffing. Poke it in with a straw if you need to. Finish sewing the edge and admire your work.
