The state of being grateful: thankfulness - America Heritage dictionary Gratitude seems so simple from this definition. Yet so powerful and for me, not at all easy. I have a problem with slowing down, I have a problem with constantly wanting to make things better, never satisfied with anything. The desire to improve is a really good thing, but it can get in the way of being grateful. This is an incomplete list of the people and their relationships for which I am grateful: • • • • • •

The time it has taken for me to write this article and make this list, which believe it or not took place over two days, has given me the space and time to slow down and get out of my own way to being Thankful. In the end I seem to always end up with the fact that it is these relationships that define my life. The better my relationships the better my life is and will be.
