Why I Love Fall And You Should Too…..

It is officially Fall and I could not be happier! Summer is finally behind us with all of its sunshine and warm weather so now we can look forward to freezing cold days filled with clouds, fog and best of all SNOW! While I am told that not everyone is as enamored with the idea of the pending winter and all it hold for us, I think there are a few things about fall and winter we should all be able to agree on.

Krissy For those of you that don’t know me, I’m Krissy. I’ve been a Team Member here at Jerrol’s for a little over 8 years, and at the end of September, I am stepping out of Jerrol’s in pursuit of another career at Crossroad Garage.

In my time here, I have had the opportunity to learn/ experience almost every aspect of the business including Frontline, Deliveries, and my personal favorite, Marketing. I’ve been able to meet so many amazing people in our community and have gotten to help most of you at least once.

Jerrol’s has provided me with the connections to participate in the community way more that I ever thought I would when I moved to Ellensburg in 2011. I participated in programs through the Kittitas County Chamber, was a member of the Ellensburg Toastmasters club for a while, went through Leadership Kittitas County, and ended up as a board member on the Ellensburg Rodeo Hall of Fame, where I am currently the Secretary.

So many of these experiences I’ve had in Ellensburg wouldn’t have been possible if not for my time here. I am beyond grateful to have had the time to learn and grow with so many team members over the last 8 years, and have had an amazing support group the entire time. My entire career here, I’ve had Rolf, Michelle, and Jessica (along with many others) encouraging me, pushing me to be my best, and cheering me on when I needed extra support.

This will be Cheryl’s second demonstration at Jerrol’s. Her August demonstration was a packed house so please reserve your seat today as space is limited.

While it is going to be difficult to hang up my hat here at Jerrol’s, I am excited to see what else Ellensburg has in store for me for the future.

Thank you to all of you who have encouraged me throughout the last 8 years, and who have been able to share this time with me. If you see me around town, don’t be afraid to say hello!

Hello!

My name is Gemini GutierrezZamora. I was named Gemini because the Latin translation is twin, and I am one. My twin’s name is much more interesting than mine, it’s John. I was born in Wenatchee, Washington but moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico when I was five. I moved back to Wenatchee in 2015 where I enjoyed hiking, snowboarding, and other outdoor activities that are popular in the area. I am currently going to CWU and will major in biology. I look forward to working with the friendly and helpful staff at Jerrol’s, and ensuring you get the perfect experience!

Craft of the Month Cheetah Print Pumpkins

Hello Everyone, I just wanted to say thank you for this lovely year I’ve had at Jerrols. In this past year I have learned so much about art, the history of Ellensburg, and what it means to be tied in the community.

With that being said, I will be leaving Jerrols to pursue something enjoyable to me. I have taken a job at Koletty’s Koffee where I will be a barista. Although I am sad to be leaving all the wonderful people I have met while working here I am sure I will see some of you again. Don’t hesitate to come and get some coffee (or tea) so we can catch up.

Once again, thank you everyone who welcomed me to Jerrol’s and those who made me feel like Ellensburg is the right place for this next chapter in my life.

Olivia Hello, again! I know I just announced my return to Jerrol’s and while it is where my heart has been for the last 3 years, I have now realized that my heart is at home with my baby and I find it incredibly hard to leave her every day that I come to work. I have been granted the opportunity (thank you to my lovely partner for working so hard for our family) to stay home with our child and be there for all those super important moments and watch her learn and grow. I will miss working with everyone at Jerrol’s and seeing all our wonderful clients. I thank each and every one of you for the experience and for all of the love and understanding through this time, especially Rolf. There isn’t a better employer or role model that I have come across in all my working life. My family appreciates all the support you have and continue to show us.

P.S. Snow is not the best stuff on earth.

Yes, it's finally here; fall, sweaters, pumpkin seeds, school, and changing leaves. So go get some pumpkins and let's start painting.

Supplies: Pumpkins Paint Paint brush Paint sponge 1. Paint each pumpkin with one coat of paint. (I used the paint sponge for this) 2. Next paint some spots on your pumpkin using a lighter color than the base.

3. Using black paint outline your spots. Think of the letter "c" and put them around your spots, next to your spots...everywhere.

4. Put on your porch, your mantle, or anywhere that suits your fancy and enjoy.
