11/28/2016 15:00 15:40 •Met with 2016 JCI Yangon LP Seinn, 2017 JCI Yangon LP Swe and 2017 JCI Myanmar NP Sithu to discuss upcoming meeting with UNDP •Agreed that JCI Yangon will host a UN SDG Seminar / Impact Talk with the UNDP. •Agreed to use PS Business School’s new hall as the venue. Capacity is 80 people 16:00 17:00 •Met UNDP officer Jennifer Andre and UNV Officer Juan Carlos to introduce the JCI Myanmar team and the JCI APDC team. •Agreed in principal to collaborate together to host a UN SDG seminar and forum on a date TBA in late February or Early March. •The UNDP will provide a 1 hour seminar on the history of the SGDs, what they are and their vision for Myanmar. •JCI chapters will be invited to present best practices of their projects and how they contributed to create impact for their communities and also for sponsors that contributed. •The goal is to raise awareness for JCI Myanmar, SDGs and the need for corporate involvement. •JCI Myanmar will submit 3 dates for the UN to select. They will prepare the venue and be responsible for publicity. •JCI APDC will arrange for international chapters to present their best practice SDG projects. 19:00 21:00 •Had followup dinner with Zaad who is a friend of JCI APDC DO Bayasagalan (Mongolia). •Updated Zaad on the progress of JCI Myanmar and JCI Yangon. Also informed him of the pending project with the UN. •Zaad offered to support JCI through his business and his own friends. •There is potential for him to become a member and also to begin a chapter in Yangon. 11/29/2017 15:00 17:00 •Met with Alex Hwang, Founder and Managing Partner of Polaris. •Updated Alex on the status of JCI Myanmar and their potential activities. •Alex explained about his company’s CSR activities. •There is the potential for Alex to support JCI Myanmar in the future through sponsorship and recruitment of members for a current or new chapter. 11/29/2017 19:00 22:00 •Met with 8 people of JCI Yangon 2017 BOD. •Encouraged the incoming BOD to plan their 2017 calendar. The calendar is now planned tentatively for 2017 and is in detail for Q1. •BOD is enthusiastic and want to create impact. •Explained the need for clearly defined roles and also to begin planning for their year now. •BOD is keen for JCI training and other interesting trainings such as NLP •Met with 2017 NSG Seinn to answer some of her questions regarding the administration of the country and chapter. •Seinn gave us an organization chart for JCI Myanmar and JCI Yangon. •JCI Yangon constitution has been written and is awaiting ratification. •Additional documents were requested and will follow up. 11/30/2017 16:15 16:50 •Met Vikram Kumar, Resident Representative, International Finance Corporation. •Introduced JCI in Myanmar and their future plans. •Outlined the vision and growth of members in Myanmar. •Vikram suggested to research and find potential avenues where IFC and JCI could collaborate for future relationships. 2 Achievements/Impact of Mission 2-1 Community Impact: Begin to raise the awareness of the UN SDGs through planning for the upcoming seminar / Impact talk 2-2 Motivate: Members were able to understand better the role of APDC. Members understand better the role of JCI and are motivated to create a stronger organization. 2-3 Invest: Members want to be trained more in JCI training 2-4 Collaborate: JCI Myanmar will begin to be linked to UN, NGOs and other corporate entities in Yangon which will allow them to leverage on these relationships to grow their membership. 2-5 Connect: As Above 2-6 And more for this specific country: 3 Strength of NOM

Main membership base are still students. Need to recruit more business oriented members.

1 Community Impact: Need to raise brand awareness for JCI Myanmar and JCI Yangon through more projects 2 Motivate: Meeting more with members of LOM to assess their needs. 3 Invest: More training in JCI Admin, Achieve and Impact. 2 Achievements/ Impact of Mission (for the definition of Community Impact, Motivate, Invest, Collaborate & Connect, please refer to the 2014 – 2018 JCI Strategic Plan) 2-1 Community Impact: Conducted training to JCI Myanmar BODs in order for them to carry out their year plan effectively and conduct impactful projects by involving potential members for them to develop strong National and Local organization in Myanmar. 2-2 Motivate: With help from Development Adviser Oung, second possible chapter members led by Mr. Okkar Myo were able to deepen their knowledge about JCI and were willing to contribute for next steps in coordination with existing JCI Yangon team in order to help JCI Myanmar as a whole to grow and move on to provision affiliation status in near future. 2-3 Invest: Consulted and provided technical insights to JCI Myanmar BODs with regards to NGO registration, organization development for the next year. 2-4 Collaborate: Development Adviser Mr. Albert Oung has long JCI career with JCI Hong Kong, and he has close business relationship with people in Myanmar. His help and collaboration with him is essential in order to set up second local chapter in Myanmar. 2-5 Connect: Development Adviser Mr. Albert Oung was able to connect APDC team with new potential members led by Mr. Okkar Myo, who is willing to set up second chapter in Yangon and build up strong JCI Myanmar. 2-6 And more for this specific country: 3 Strength of NOM: Myanmar is a country with a big population of the young, who are eager for international connections and open for new challenges.

National and Local level in order to conduct impactful projects to serve the community and increase memberships. 2 Motivate: To motivate existing members and potential members by conducting impactful projects created in line with active citizen framework. 3 Invest: To invest time setting up second chapter in Yangon and finalize year plan and budget plan. 4 Collaborate: To collaborate with Development Adviser Mr. Albert

Oung in order to set up second chapter in Yangon 5 Connect: For both existing members and potential members to collaborate with help from Development Adviser Oung and build a good working relationship for JCI Myanmar as one national organization to grow strong. 6 And more for this specific country:

Remarks

We think it is important to develop strong local organizations which conducts impactful projects in order for JCI Myanmar to grow. We are grateful for the new possibility of setting up second chapter in Yangon with help from Development Adviser Oung.
