Appliance Rebates Are Now Available in Texas
Propane appliance rebates are now available first come, first serve for installations after April 1, 2021. Rebate applications must be submitted with 30 days of gas safety check. Appliance Rebate Amounts $300 for new propane water heater $300 for new propane furnace $600 cap per Texas household or Texas business How much is available for 2021? $205,000 was allocated for the program. Who is not eligible? 8 Homes connected to propane community systems. 8 Mobile & manufactured homes 8 Builders, developers and remodelers are not eligible to receive the rebate.
How to Reserve Funds and/or Apply? Submissions must be received by propane marketers. 1. Visit www.txsaveswithpropane.com 2. Register by clicking Marketer Signup in upper right-hand corner of the website 3. Choose to reserve funds for 60 days or simply submit an application. 4. Rebate application is two parts. Complete online form and upload PDF signed application and proof of purchase. There is an online component that qualifies address and cap so applications will only be accepted via the online rebate portal. For this reason, applications cannot be emailed, faxed or mailed. Payment. Rebate will go directly to end user. Rebates cannot be reassigned to the propane marketer. Resources. An archived rebate webinar is available, as well as full guidelines, checklist, reminder and application, in the April issue of Texas Propane magazine. Marketing materials are available to download at www.txsaveswithpropane. com once you login including a downloadable flyer you can print on your own and share with your customers. There are also social media ads you can download and share on your Facebook page. National Construction Incentive Program The national Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) has their own rebate program for construction professionals. The PERC program was recently expanded and there is quantity cap per builder per year. The construction professional rebates available from PERC are now first come, first serve while funds are available.
