PERC Releases Commercial Safety
Fact Sheets for Key Market Sectors
To support safe propane use across a variety of commercial applications, late last year, the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) has released a new series of double-sided safety fact sheets tailored to specific industries and users. These downloadable tools are designed to help propane marketers educate their commercial customers on best practices and safety protocols unique to their operations. The new safety fact sheets cover the fol-
lowing sectors:
Asphalt Applications – Guidance on safe propane handling and usage for road crews and asphalt work zones.
Commercial Small Cylinders Safety Guide – Focuses on safe storage, transport, and use of small propane cylinders for restaurants, hospitality, and portable equipment.
Construction Site Safety – Highlights propane safety for heaters, generators, and other temporary construction uses.
Propane Safety for Commercial Businesses – A general safety guide for propane-powered appliances and systems in commercial buildings.
Propane Safety for Powered Industrial Trucks (Forklifts) – Offers forklift operators and managers key reminders about safe fueling, inspection, and daily operation.
