Masterpiece / Il Municipio Ricostruito nel 1842, dopo che un incendio distrusse completamente il precedente edificio del 1500, il Municipio (Rathaus) di Amburgo, mix architettonico di gotico, barocco e neorinascimentale, è un imponente simbolo della città e della sua ricchezza. La facciata principale è larga 111 metri, al centro della quale svetta la torre alta 112, che domina la Rathausmarkt, l’immensa piazza in mattoni rossi interamente pedonalizzata.
Masterpiece / Town Hall Rebuilt in 1842 after a fire destroyed the original 16th century building, the Rathaus in Hamburg is an imposing architectural mix of gothic, baroque and Neo-Renaissance styles which stands as a symbol of the city and its cultural wealth. The building’s facade is 111 meters wide and a 112 meter tall tower rises in its middle, dominating the Rathausmarkt, the enormous red brick square where the town hall is found.

Masterpiece / the port Proudly counting over 800 years since its opening, Hamburg’s port remains the most important in northern Europe to this day. The entire port side offers visitors numerous attractions including the floating piers at St. Pauli Landunsbrücken, the Speicherstadt, an ancient merchants quarter, and the new construction found at the Hafencity al Fischmark, a fishmarket famous for its hawkers.
