Rockchapel Tea Party

The annual American Tea Party was held at Rockchapel Community Centre on October 20th. Billy O’Brien provided music and entertainment for the evening. All proceeds from the Tea Party assist in the upkeep of the community centre in Rockchapel. Thanks to the support and presence of local community members for taking the time to be there.

Millstreet Active Retired

Millstreet Active Retired are living up to their name! The last few weeks have included a talk by Solicitor Lily Nagle as well as a line dancing class (pictured left) where a whopping 3000 steps were racked up!

Activities continue! • Mondays Keep Fit • Tuesdays Aquaerobics • Wednesdays Line Dancing • Thursdays Morning Coffee • Fridays Yoga with Nora. The group had a very informative talk by local solicitor Lily Nagle on wills, transfer, inheritance, capital gains tax, fair deal, power of attorney and much more. Other talks included Mairead from new leaf health discussing health, and social workers from HSE with a very interesting talk on assisted decision making law, domestic violence, planning ahead and more items to the age group.
